The arrival lot is very small to register, once you've registered there is a large parking lot. One thing I've noticed is in the bath room, it's not just comfort suites every one has gone to the soap, shampoo & conditioner, in wall pump bottles, this includes the handicapped rooms. The problem is because I'm an amputee I can't reach them. The room was very clean. One thing I've learned from my husband is to check the filters in the air conditioner/heaters, I've been to a few that the filters were so dirty you couldn't see light through them, I have to say these filters we're exceptionally clean. I will always consider Comfort Suites a place to stay.

The rooms were very clean and nothing was missing. Breakfast was more than ample, and the staff seemed very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The gym had plenty of workout options as well. Again, very clean.
The smoking section blows directly into the windows at the end of the hall, which was less than ideal. The hot tub was covered up by a deck which was unfortunate because the pool was unbearably cold even though it was 97°F those days. The area surrounding the hotel is full of homeless, users, and drunks. No way we were going to walk anywhere from the hotel day or night, but the gated parking made us feel just fine parking overnight.

The Manager Staff, Mr. Troy, was Such a Professional. He greeted My Wife and I, upon arrival and continuously throughout the Evening. YET,Not ONLY US, But Any patron that arrived, thereafter. He made US Feel at Home and Explain the Hotel Surroundings and Policies to the Upmost Care and went Up and Beyond to Make Our Stay Comfortable. PLEASE, Give him a RAISE!!!! My Wife and I ALSO Enjoyed the Morning Breakfast and Variety offered. ALSO, On One SIDE OF THE COIN, I Loved that Parking Was Fenced in and Secure. LASTLY, Having Eating Establishment within Walking Distance was a Huge Plus
On the Other Side, I have an Expensive Car and Each Time I thought I had parked in a Safe Place, I Would Find a Monster Truck or Humongous SUV(1st a Navigator then Later, A Older Huge Escalade) VERY very CLOSE to Me, having to move My Car 3 Times; So, Parking(While SECURE) is TIGHT. Also, Homeless camped Up and Down the Street

The staff at this location are absolutely amazing!!! This is my second stay here in two weeks due to doing IVF around the corner from this hotel. Yet again I'm bad with names, but I was here Wed-Fri for some pretty emotional appointments at the clinic. Not only were the staff friendly, one (a gentleman who's name slips my mind) was empathetic and very caring with regard to why I was there. Just everyone is amazing! I can't say enough! I will be staying here for any future appointments at the clinic!
I honestly don't have a single complaint (this is saying a lot because I tend to be a complainer)

I stayed here overnight for a concert at the Golden 1 Center and I was pleasantly surprised. The room we had was very comfortable with two beds as well as a separate living room with a pull out sofa, microwave, and refrigerator. We were only two people so we didn't try the pull out, but the beds were just right and had plenty of pillows. It was quiet at night. Front desk staff was very friendly! The room seemed well cleaned and had enough towels, soap, etc. Parking area felt secure with a gate accessed with the room key. Breakfast in the morning had some good variety - waffles, eggs, sausage, along with yogurts, bagels, fruit, cereal, etc. The lemon water in the lobby is a nice touch! I plan to stay here again whenever I come back for more events.
The only issue we had was that the tub seemed to drain a little slowly, but it wasn't enough to cause any inconvenience.

I enjoyed the roominess, coziness, and cleanliness of my King Suite. I loved that I had a sofa. The rate to book was great! And the deposit wasn’t excessive like other hotels. I appreciate the front desk staff for accommodating my needs. I appreciate that I had plenty of towels in the bathroom. I liked that the stairs were easily accessible from the location of my room. It was nice to have the complimentary water with cups centrally located for all hotel guests. And I definitely appreciated the complimentary breakfast. And lastly, it was great to have parking accessible with my key card.

The room was very spacious and clean. The AC worked really well. The bathroom was a nice size, too, with shampoo and conditioner strapped to the wall, as well as bar soaps and lotion. The Fitness Center has an elliptical, a bike, free weights and a treadmill. There is also a small business center and laundry room. I was impressed with the cleanliness and hygiene taken with the Breakfast selection. The coffee cups were indiividuallly sealed, the fruits were wrapped individually. There is a nice selection of cold cereals, fresh juices, breads and muffins. Also a waffle iron. While we were there, the housekeepers deep cleaned the carpets in the corridor. Checking in and checking out was quick and efficient. There is also a gate to the guest parking which provides much needed security in this area. This hotel is also convenient to many good eateries and activities.
This downtown area is not the best area in Sacramento with many homeless millng around, lying on the sidewalk or just hanging around outside.

All of the staff were helpful, considerate, and friendly. I had a few issues that were not hotel related and the front desk staff extended service to help me solve them. I truly appreciate their help.
The bathtub drained very slowly slowly causing water to rise in the tub while showering.

Clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, secure car parking, we enjoyed our stay there and if ever in the area again would consider it. Good for visiting the Capital and Downtown Old Sacramento.
Was concerned about the number of homeless nearby but they never caused problems

Spacious, clean room, friendly and helpful staff, shops and restaurants close by, only a 25 min walk to old sacramento, parking with a gate. Good breakfast.
All plates, cups, cutlery, etc is one-way disposable and some of them even packed in an extra plastic. This is so unnecessary! There are a few home less people on the streets next to the hotel.
