It was perfect for the one night's stay that I needed after having arrived in Sacramento that afternoon and was departing by train the next morning. It was a standard Motel 6 room, but also have a fridge and microwave. It was reasonably quiet. The location is only a few minutes north of the Amtrak Station, and the Uber rides back and forth were inexpensive. Price-wise it was one of the least expensive choices balanced with decent quality.

I visited Sacramento for the California International Marathon (CIM) and picked this motel as a budget place to stay for the weekend. My personal priority when picking this motel was to find a place that wasn't as expensive as the options in the heart of downtown while still being reasonably close to downtown. In order to fit within my budget, I was okay with staying at a place with minimal frills. This motel had convenient access to I-5 and downtown Sacramento. Plus, its proximity to the Sacramento River Bike path made walking to downtown a reasonable option (~4 miles round trip) for me personally. I found my room to be clean and spacious with ample desk/table space and a comfortable bed. Also, I found the soundproofing for my room, which faced the freeway, to be sufficient to keep car noise to a minimum. As a less-expensive place to stay for CIM weekend, this motel met my needs well.

At times I needed to manually reconnect to the WiFi in order to regain a good connection.

The room and the grounds were very clean. Parking was available close to my room. For a person that has a disability that is important. The facilities were very comfortable. The room and bathroom looked to be newly renovated. I slept soundly and felt safe as a single woman traveling alone. The staff was courteous and responded to all my needs. Definitely would stay there again.

Location not the best but the property is fenced for safety. I felt very safe when checked in and on the grounds.

I was extremely tired from driving 16 hours. It was late and I was traveling alone and needed a safe, clean, affordable stay. I’m not from Sacramento and don’t know the neighborhoods. This place was easy to get on/off the 5. After check in I was able to move my car behind the security gates, so both my car and I had one more level of protection. Check in was fast and easy and the person behind the window was quick and efficient as she could see I was exhausted. The room was clean and comfortable.

The Patient Lady helped Me get My reservation correct and was kind enough to wait for Me to deal with My Internet issues...She is Very Knowledgeable and excellent with Customer Service!! That's why I come back to these facilities,They Know how to make Your Stay A-1 A!!! 5 Stars!!!!

Can’t beat the price for such short notice! This was the cleanest Motel 6 I’ve been in. It had all new furniture and television. Room was surprisingly clean and modern. Front desk staff was very thorough and nice.

Not much to dislike for the price. Just note Motel 6s do not have shampoo and conditioner in-unit. This location can also be a little sketchy but still very close to the train station and is gated at night from the public.

For a motel at this price range it has a legitimately great location for the recreational area of Sacramento. it is very close to the Sacramento River, and Downtown, and i had a neat morning just walking around the area . Sacremento is a very pretty city, and its a great space to enjoy it.

It was a little noisy from the freeway, but not to bad.

It was located in a convenient area and had super-friendly faculty and staff members. This was combined with excellent customer service and hospitality.

I dislike that guests must get hazed 15 feet from the entire building and that you can't smoke on the balcony outside of your motel room.

Great location next to Discovery Park. Within walking distance to the concert we went to so did not have to pay for parking. Also very updated for a Motel 6, I wasn’t expecting such a nice room.

The floor in the bathroom had water damage, but overall didn’t affect us. And the latest checkout we could get was 11:30 without paying for another night.

I felt safe as a single female traveler. The room and property were very clean and the staff was wonderful. There are working security cameras all over the property. Quick, easy drive to downtown.

The pillows are small and flat. The mattress was too hard. The sound proofing between the walls, interior and exterior could use a bit of fortification.
