I liked the large kitchen and large bathroom in the single king room. I was impressed with room and the AC worked great. Easy to get off and on the highway from this location.

Charging $20 to park on your property does not make sense. I’ve already paid $140 to stay at the hotel, why make people pay another $20 to park. This was my only con of this place.

the price for the parking wasnt mentioned at all till i get there... a bit annoying you need to pay for it.

Pool and jacuzzi.Jacuzzi was hot and jets were great. Shower had good water pressure and hot water, almost immediately. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in shower was nice. Microwave and frig in room are nice. Plenty of places to charge phones, with wireless charging and plug ins.

Not thrilled about having to pay to park. 3rd story was noisy, we were on the 2nd. The hotel wants a security deposit immediately, but it takes a few days to get it back.

The room and beds were fine. When we had an issue with someone pounding on our door from outside, security came quickly.

The bathroom door, which was a pocket door, stuck and was very loud to open and close, so we had to leave it open slightly so as not to wake up people in the room. The pool wasn't operational, though we could have used the one at the hotel next door. The room was on the small side. I should have looked more closely at the photos, since the unit doors opened to an external hallway. There was someone pounding on the door at 7am who went away - I think the external hallway makes it easier for people who aren't staying at the hotel to loiter.

The staff was friendly and efficient. I like the fact that they are dog friendly and offered a doggy bag with a bone and poop bags

The hotel was located on a busy street, right next to a motel 8, which houses people from prison who are shooting up meth on the stairs. They wander to the Days Inn to use laundry and the pool. One man was following me and was lingering out my window. I alerted the front desk and they moved my room immediately and called security to remove the man. I was very grateful to the staff and security. The only downside is that the next room smelled of smoke and mildew. I was supposed to stay one more night, but chose to cancel and go to a different location.

EVERYTHING ! The hotel was beautiful from the start. The lobby is well kept, and the customer service is superb. We stayed for over a week and our room was beautiful as well, it had a mini fridge plus a microwave ! I mostly loved the housekeeping, specifically dulce ! She was amazing...I can't even begin to explain how fast and efficient she is. She made our stay wonderful, making sure we had enough towels, cups, etc. I hope she got the tip I left for her in the front office. The pool is heated, and the jacuzzi gets really hot, which was great. They have a snack bar in the lobby and vending machines almost everywhere around the property. They clean rooms daily, and the laundromat is pretty clean, and they work great as well. Can't wait to visit again.

Besides someone passing away right next door to us and the construction noise on some days, the stay was great.

Very easy to check in. Good place to stay. Near the freeway, it just one minute or two to enter the highway, so it's very convenient to visit some places. Ex, Sea World, the Old Town, SD Zoom, Balboa Park, etc. It says you need to pay for the parking when booking on the web, but actually, the hotel guest needn't. It's ready good! The cafeteria provides a lot of food, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All of them are not expensive.

I was expecting a lot of kitchen amenities like an induction cooktop, some dishes and a sink, etc., but all we had was a microwave and a refrigerator.

The staff was great, very friendly and accommodating. The room was updated, clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of t.v. stations to watch at night. I need to have a chair when I stay at hotels and this one had 2 with a round table to eat, so I was happy. Plenty of towels and enough hotel staff to ask for more towels if needed. Bunz restaurant was attached to the hotel, so it was nice to have something to walk down to if you wanted to eat, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Get their before 8pm though. If you have the munchies after that, the lobby has plenty of snack food items and drinks to choose from and they hand you the menu of what's available when you check in. Dog friendly and a cute little area to sit and hang out. There was a pool that was towards the back that was covered and gated, so it was nice to have privacy. The hotel was close to so much and right off the 8, so it was a quick ride to O.B. and Mission Bay. Not far from the beach, maybe 10 minutes if that, and about 10 minutes to Sea World as well. Plenty of restaurants all around, and plenty of things to do.

My negatives were that the water pressure could have been better. The front door was not sealed right so you can see in small areas around the door people walking and hear their conversations loudly. Wasn't fun at 7am. Also, the bed was too hard, and pillows felt like the down in them or whatever material is used in them was old and lumpy.

The rooms are very clean and it is in a great location. Staff was very professional and kind.

Parking. You have to pay for parking and spots are very limited. I arrive late around midnight and almost all spots were taken. The worst is that many had taken two spots for themselves or there car was parked on the line essentially making the spot next to them useless. I have a small sedan and was eventually able to find a spot but far from the room. So if you have anything bigger than a sedan and show up later at night, you might not have luck with parking.

We loved the cleanliness and location of the Hotel. We also loved the convenience of being offered snacks to purchase and anything else we needed 24/7 from the hotel desk. the restaurant on location served excellent food and prices were reasonable. We conveniently were within walking distance from the Fashion Valley mall. We are definitely going to stay here again and highly recommend to others. We had a wonderful experience and we got more than we expected above value for staying at this Hotel for 3 days. It was modern-looking, beautiful decor and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in.

We could not stay longer because I had to return to work.
