I loved the location. It s very central and I felt safe walking around even at night.

I specifically used the filter for hotels with parking when booking, knowing how expensive parking can be in San Francisco. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the hotel does not have its own parking lot. Instead, they recommended a public parking facility, and I ended up paying $100 for two nights. Be aware of this and factor it into your overall assessment of the hotel

Great location, just 10 minutes walk from Embarcadero BART, MUNI tram and even closer for bus routes. Also 10 minutes from the main Embarcadero Ferry Building and 5 minutes from a Safeway supermarket. Great apartment and very friendly staff. Easy check in and FREE coffee available 24/7.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The location is just a few blocks from the ferry building and close to places like Safeway, buses, trains, many eateries, Chinatown. No matter where you are in the city, as long as you can see the Transamerica building, you know how to get back. I know we have GPS for that, but my cell phone battery once died while out, and knowing exactly how to get back made it easy for me to keep exploring with zero concern for how to get back. I liked the complimentary coffee, water bottling areas, guest request closets with shower caps, travel toothpaste, q-tips, and others. I liked the iron and ironing board. These things seem simple, but for what I heard was a no frills hotel, they put a lot of thought into the little things that they could do to make the traveler's experience easier or better. I liked the twin beds set up for me and my daughter. I liked the guest laundry room (also complimentary) and the fact that they also give you the detergent and plastic laundry bags for a couple of loads. It's just not as "no frills" as I thought. They might not have breakfast or a pool, but they know what the traveler needs, and the service is excellent.

This place was more than I expected it to be, and at the end of a long day, it was a great place to hang your hat and rest. If I had to pick something not to like, the TV would randomly go to the hotel menu while watching something.

We had a suite with kitchenette, which was generous for the 3 of us, very comfy main bed, two TV's one for bed other above desk area ,fresh towels everyday, nespresso machine in room, Excellent hearty breakfast via voucher in adjacent Fish and Farm ,also had a steak there one night which was awesome! Complimentary coffee/ tea in lounge area on ground floor. And complimentary chilled water machine with bottles on our floor. 3 lifts Staff all very friendly location good 10 mins walk to Pier 1 and 10 mins to Embacadero Bart/ Muni station about 25 mins walk upto Ghiradelli square or Fishermans wharf if you not stopping looking in all the restaurants and 20 mins walk down to Union square

only niggle was our TV,'s where a bit inconsistent with operation with pic sound issues

The location of the hotel is great. I was a bit scared to live in downtown because of homeless people, but it turned out there are not many around in this part. The room is rather small but cosy with all necessary things. I appreciated good coffee machine in the room and unlimited drinking water. I also liked the gym and thr procedure of check-in and check-out, It was very fast.

It is the first hotel where the is no fridge in the room. I was surprised and was not ready for this. And the carpet needs replacing a long time ago. It looks dusgusting, especcially when slippers are not provided.

Room and bathroom was very clean. Sheets and pillows were comfy as heck. Great sleep. Loved that each floor has purified water station (to fill bottles), bottled water, and closet full of amenities next to the water station (toothbrushes, q-tips, sewing kits, nail files, mouthwash, etc.) Shower water temp and pressure was great. Downstairs, past the elevators, there's a nice lounge with plenty of seating, as well as lots of desk space with power if you need to get work done. There's even a commercial espresso machine there to make a free latte, americano, macchiato, etc.

CQ is always reliable and good value, with everything you need - comfortable beds, good shower, chilled water stations on each floor. Reception staff, especially Liz, were very welcoming. Excellent location for exploring San Francisco, close to the BART, and there's a roof terrace with views of the city. Loved the free coffee lounge for relaxing and planning our day.

Good to have the breakfast provided, but it's heavy and often very busy. CQ are missing a trick by not just offering pastries or granola and a bowl of fruit for those who want something lighter, and allowing those customers to get their own.

The property was in a great location, 5 minutes walk from the ferry building with access to the trolly cars which could take us to fisherman’s wharf. There was a Safeway supermarket on the way so we could grab items on our way back to our room. The room had a kitchenette which was great when travelling with kids ( bring your own plastic plates, bowls, spoons etc). There was also a free laundry available. Breakfast in the restaurant next door was really good.

The room didn’t have any view but it wasn’t an issue as there is a nice outdoor viewing deck plus the good things about the hotel outweighed this.

We booked this at the last minute due to a mistake with our lodging the nights before. We needed an extra night, but our first hotel couldn't accommodate us. The location was very convenient, close to Embarcadero Center, the financial district, Chinatown, and the Ferry Building. We loved the tiny rooftop area with a very cool view toward the Bay Bridge. Our room was on the small side, but very comfortable and clean. There were great amenities, and the staff was super friendly! We loved the restaurant and bar adjacent to the lobby. Had a great breakfast there in the morning, and they have nice happy hour prices.

We were on a lower floor, and it was a bit noisy with the windows open. The blackout curtains needed some repair, and the refrigerator had a high pitch whine. (The freezer was a plus, though!)

The location of the hotel was good. The staff was exceptional. I have feather allergies and housekeeping took care of the sheets right away. I have never raved about housekeeping services but I must say, I was impressed with their professionalism.

The hotel doesn't have easy parking. We drove in late in the evening and didn't realize how inconvenient it would be to check in. Also, the nearby parking lot closes after a certain time (I think for safety reasons). It would be helpful for the hotel to provide more information about parking (not just location but also hours it's open and closed) before and at check-in. The stay there is most convenient if you don't drive there.
