A very warm welcome on arrival to a stylish, art deco-ish lobby & Reception area. Super comfy bed in an average sized room. A great location on the edge of Chinatown with easy access to trams, buses & metro. Would definitely recommend it apart from breakfast.

The breakfast room did not live up to expectation. Polystyrene plates & plastic cutlery with fairly low quality food. Only one toaster, which led to queues. After two visits, we decided to purchase our own fresh fruit & yoghurt.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, especially because of its excellent location in the city center, close to many attractions. The subway station with direct access to the airport is also nearby, which made traveling very convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. After checking out, we were able to safely store our luggage for several hours free of charge, which allowed us to explore the city without any worries. The room was very clean, tidy, and comfortable.

The only downside was breakfast. The space is quite limited, which caused some crowding, and the selection was rather modest.

The hotel is located in a closer proximity to all the amenities in the downtown surroundings. It's an ideal place for the visitors to San Francisco. The cost versus quality of the stay was quite a balance that they also include a courtesy continental breakfast to all their guests. The facilities were clean , staff was friendly and helpful, and amenities at the hotel were good, too. Importantly, away from the homeless crowd in the other part of town, which seems like scary and insecured..

There's really nothing that needs a highlight about the dislikes at this place. Trust me, this is a great place located in the decent part of downtown closer to Union square.

The room and staff were attentive and responsive. We had an issue that was addressed immediately. THE LOCATION IS THE THING! It is at the gates of Chinatown, a lovely French resturant is attached to the hotel. An Irish pub is next door, and another intimate French restaurant Le Parc is around the corner. There are Belgium chocolates and and Fomagerie in walking distance. In the other direction is Union Square and lots of large with small high-end and lower-end shopping available. I stay here when in the city. Very European in feel and design but in San Francisco.

There was a problem casting to the television. But it was minor because my phone and tablet worked and wasn't in the room that much m

I was there for a SF Giants baseball weekend. location was excellent for Oracle Park (20 minute walk), next to China town, close to Union Square and about a 30 minute walk to Pier 39. Was able to walk most places. The hotel was comfortable, staff was good and seemed well maintained. enjoyed my stay.

not a great area to serve the continental breakfast, waited in line for over 30 minutes but that is probably because i came down near the end of it. next day I came down earlier and waited nowhere near as long.

We enjoyed the wine which was complementary between 4 and 6 PM. The woman on the desk was very helpfull. We also appreciated the fact that we were able to leave our luggage for the day aftewr we checked out as our train did not go until the evening. We liked the fact that the hotel was at the entrance to Chinatown and a short walk to Market street, where we could get a streetcar to Pier 35 and 39. When we visit San Francisco again we would like to stay at Hotel Triton

Everything was OK

All of the staff were very kind and friendly. From the housekeeper to the handyman repair a room on the 5th floor; everyone was pleasant. Malina (forgive me because I think I am spelling her name wrong) is a gem! The breakfast was fulfilling, the wine a nice treat, and the restaurant right next door was delicious! The bed was super comfortable and the room is cozy. The water dispenser was a nice treat. We will definitely be coming back with some friends!!!

The hotel did not feel like there was AC running in the entrance area, but the AC in the room was nice. We could hear the noise from the bar near by; however, we just turned on the TV to help us fall asleep. A simple fix. The room AC was set to 86 degrees upon our arrival; however, within an hour from us changing the temperature on a hot day it started to feel perfect.

Love the option to skip daily housekeeping - would the hotel consider a discount in that case? Very quiet - only heard upstairs neighbour stomping around a little bit. We loved being downtown & so close to a couple of good convenience stores, 4 kinds of transit, & restaurants & an amazing fabric store. Wonderfully quiet fridge! Staff very cheerful & personable.

Headboard squeaked; that is a minor consideration, tho'. Could have used a microwave in the room. Really this is one of the best stays I've ever had. Price could always be sweetened...

This is a wonderful location, and the rooms are very clean. The staff are OUTSTANDING. They are so helpful. It is literally at the gates of China Town, and they have free wine every afternoon. The parking garage is only a block away and easy to get in and out. When I stayed on the 6th floor on a Friday night, it was so silent, I didn't hear any doors open or close. It was so great to be able to sleep in.

The rooms are a little small, but when traveling alone, it isn't a big deal.

Great location, excelent staff (except for postcard-sending-gate, see below), I liked the carafe and water cooler on the 6th floor, cool fountain outside. Bike friendly and also free snakes and alcohol!

I asked the front desk if they would sell me some stamps for a couple of postcards and they said they would mail them for me. I agreed and then found that they charged me $8 to send two postcards! Much more than two postcards worth of postage!
