The hotel is very centrally located within the downtown area of San Francisco within walking distance of many restaurants and shops and also the BART and Muni stations. I also enjoyed the 5 to 6 pm happy hour that the hotel had every evening for guests to enjoy some local wine. Staff are always very helpful and kindly gave me a quiet room that faced the central courtyard. I am always happy to come back here.

A key is required to return to the hotel after going out to the rooftop area that leads to the Crocker Galleria. However, the door from the neighboring Crocker Galleria mall that leads to the rooftop area is locked in the late afternoon. I ended up being stuck between the Galleria and the entrance to the hotel's rooftop area in the emergency stairs and was very thankful that I was able to call the hotel reception for assistance.

The hotel is located in a busy business district. City dwellers and business travelers may be immune to the outdoor commotion. Tourists, with leeway to sleep in, may find early morning activities such as refuse collection, sirens, car horns, and traffic a bit more distracting.

I think the hotel offered great value. The facilities were very nice, comfortable, and clean - and quite large for a hotel in the downtown area of a major city. The location was great, and we could walk to many restaurants and activities. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff especially were great, and had good recommendations for things to do in the area. I really appreciated having coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. It was a wonderful home base for our family trip to San Francisco.

Dog barking late at night and early morning. Pets should be limited to certain floors and guests should without pets should have rooms on pet free floor.

There’s so much to write here but for starters they called me the morning of my trip to check in about my stay. Perfect location, no sight of drugs or needles. They were able to pair our rooms with our family that also booked a stay separately , next door. Maybe I got lucky and their weren’t as busy but they were so friendly when I arrived outside til I got into my room. They have an AWESOME PARK TERRACE! , sadly our stay was only a day and I bet the other amenities were great too but we didn’t get a chance to check it out it. My family and I thank you.

1. The reasonable price for SF. 2. The spacious room for SF (the king room). 3. The Good lobby. 4. The private garden is very convenient if you stay with a dog. 5. They do not outsource valet parking to some other company. They have their own garage (under the hotel) and own valet service. The garage is reserved for hotel guests only. In my opinion, it was very safe to leave my car there.

1. The shower door can't be closed tight. Water leaks to the floor. 2. I would give this hotel 10/10 if not the homeless and drug crisis in San Francisco. It is not normal when people are lying semi-naked in their own feces on the streets. You can say that it is not responsibility of the hotel. I disagree. It is the direct responsibility of hotels and other local busyness to work with the government and politics to resolve the crisis. And when I say "resolve" I does NOT mean throwing money to the problem (what SF government doing for years). Currently, I am going to SF once a year despite living in two hours. I would go every two months if not the homeless and drug crisis.

Absolutely loved the vibe and staff that greeted on arrival. Friendly to the last minute you check out. That is everybody. The reception, the bell man whose services you even didn't require. Everyone maintains the impression that you the guest number one. This hotel is more like that Continental hotel from John Wick movies. The location beats all. There is happy hour with liqueurs from 17 to 18. In the mornings there is hot water and coffee in the lobby. Perfect San Francisco stay. There is more. The coffee espresso machine in the room is Illy. There are also refillable aluminum bottles for water. The pantry where you can refill are on 03 and 07 floor. Your will appreciate the rooms overlooking the inner yard as they are especially shielded from street noises. The BART station is Montgomery and is 07 mins walk. Not convinced? Ok Chipotle is next door ) go book now

Excellent staff, loved the proximity to Montgomery BART train station, buses & tram. Lovely cafes around and the hotel staff were exceptional and so accommodating. The evening complementary cocktail hour was so special! Will stay there everytime I visit San Francisco ❤️ During this trip we also stayed at the Hilton in Chinatown and it was dismal to say the least. Terrible staff, ZERO customer service and no proximity to the trains. Would come back to Galleria Park each time!!

The hotel is beautiful and very historic. Great location as far as walkability to the Embarcadero and accessibility to the financial district. The "sipping hour" every night is very fun. Staff was wonderful. Bed was comfortable and I always love when a robe is provided.

STREET NOISE WAS TERRIBLE!! There was a horrible banging at 3am that woke me up and did not cease. Although this is not necessarily the hotel's fault, colleagues at another hotel did not hear this, presumably because it was better insulated. Visitors staying at the hotel just need to know this. The hotel should provide hear plugs - or guests should know to bring their own - advisably soft, noise-canceling ones.

Very centrally located. Rooms were clean, albeit a bit small for a family of 4. Hotel staff were helpful. We switched to the suite (at a reasonable price charge), which was much better. A cafe is located directly next to the hotel for basic breakfast (coffee, croissants etc). The hotel also offers coffee and tea (for free) in the mornings, and wine/martinis (also free) in the evening!

Beds (queen) were a bit small, but comfortable. Rooms were on the expensive side, but apparently San Francisco was very busy during the period we stayed.
