It is a decent and comfortable property, somewhat old fashioned, for those who like the old type hotels. The locarions is excellent for those who prefer tomstay Downtown, close to Union Square. The bed was comfortable.

Even on the top floor the street noise was loud, yet the windows were not soundproofed. The bathroom was tiny, and the room somewhat authentic retro. The staff didn't know how the parking regulations are enforced over the weekend and the holiday that followed it. They resisted giving any specific answer and I got the feeling they were push8ng me to use their vallet service.

Modernized vintage hotel. Updated rooms. Comfortable beds. Illy coffee maker and Path water bottles were a nice touch.

I was probably given the very worst room in the hotel (second floor with a window blocked a skylight. I was switched to a better room but the whole frustration could have been avoided since there were other rooms available on this Sunday night. Charging devices and outlets only available on one side of the king bed with no way to charge devices on the other side. Why? Also, wasteful small plastic shampoo & body wash bottles instead of affixed large refillable ones.

the hotel is in a landmark building in the financial district of San Francisco. Walking distance to the wharf, chinatown and even little Italy - which I recommend for the food and more crowds. The valet boys are extremely nice and helpful. the staff at the reception is very professional but not as warm :) there's a secure parking across the street and a good coffee shop downstairs. super comfortable beds

the 2 queen size beds room is nice but extremely small. you won't be able to open plastic suitcase without putting it onto bed first

The hotel is very centrally located within the downtown area of San Francisco within walking distance of many restaurants and shops and also the BART and Muni stations. I also enjoyed the 5 to 6 pm happy hour that the hotel had every evening for guests to enjoy some local wine. Staff are always very helpful and kindly gave me a quiet room that faced the central courtyard. I am always happy to come back here.

A key is required to return to the hotel after going out to the rooftop area that leads to the Crocker Galleria. However, the door from the neighboring Crocker Galleria mall that leads to the rooftop area is locked in the late afternoon. I ended up being stuck between the Galleria and the entrance to the hotel's rooftop area in the emergency stairs and was very thankful that I was able to call the hotel reception for assistance.

I had a fantastic stay at the Galleria Park Hotel during my recent work trip. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet, providing the perfect environment for both work and relaxation. The cocktail hour in the lobby was a delightful touch, offering a great opportunity to unwind and connect with other guests. The staff went above and beyond, consistently delivering friendly and attentive service that made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

The reception staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. Check in was super easy. There was cocktail hour when we arrived which was a nice bonus to taste locally produced win and gin. The room was an appropriate size for three adults and the bathroom was very nice. The shampoos/soaps in there smelt amazing! It's also incredibly convenient to get to via the Bart train from the airport!

It was a little noisy - we were there for July 4 celebrations though so it might have just been that!

Amazing staff. Efficient. Informative. Friendly. Frequent inquiries about needs and comfort. Immediate response to requests. Clean and comfortable. Excellent accomodations. Exceptional business location. Close/easy access to tourist activities.

The hotel is located in a busy business district. City dwellers and business travelers may be immune to the outdoor commotion. Tourists, with leeway to sleep in, may find early morning activities such as refuse collection, sirens, car horns, and traffic a bit more distracting.

I think the hotel offered great value. The facilities were very nice, comfortable, and clean - and quite large for a hotel in the downtown area of a major city. The location was great, and we could walk to many restaurants and activities. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The front desk staff especially were great, and had good recommendations for things to do in the area. I really appreciated having coffee and tea in the lobby in the morning. It was a wonderful home base for our family trip to San Francisco.

Good size room, spotlessly clean and a complimentary upgrade to a bigger room for my second stay was unexpected but appreciated. The sipping hour was also appreciated and a good way to meet other guests.

It's a shame that there's no breakfast options, apart from tea and coffee. The on-site bistro wasn't always open in the evenings either. But the location of the hotel meant there were plenty of options either within walking distance or for delivery.

Beautiful vintage hotel in a great location. Staff is exceptional.

Dog barking late at night and early morning. Pets should be limited to certain floors and guests should without pets should have rooms on pet free floor.
