My request to have a room as close as possible to the door was full filled. I can't walk long distances, so it made it easy for me. I'm very happy they accommodated my needs I also liked the availability of a luggage cart to help carry the luggage to my room. I liked the full-size bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower. I usually bring my own because the small bottles are never enough for me and my husband. But with the large bottles, I was able to wash my hair both days if my stay.

The blinking light on the fire detector was annoying. It really was bright, and even when I closed my eyes, it felt like someone turned the lights off and on.

For the most part, all was great. We were planning on using the sofa bed but both the sofa bed and the chair in the room were very dirty. (Something "crusty" was on the fabric). We ended up having six people sleep in two beds. That was the worst part of our stay. Other than that, the breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and we loved the hot chocolate before bed.

Anything covered in cloth needed to be steam cleaned or something. Afraid to sit on the sofa or chair. The arms of the chair were almost black. I have stayed in many hotels across the country and I felt the price was a bit high for what I got. I've stayed in nicer places that cost much less.

My family are hotel builders in CA and do this brand. It was well done. Love the decor. The staff was very friendly.

The basic Hampton breakfast is not veery flavorful but that's what you get at all of them. Embassy suites still gives a good cooked breakfast but down from that brand you get what they can heat up. Exception is toast or so so waffle. I will say that they did provide a good syrup not the basic gross syrup that is usual at the free breakfast. Good call on that!

Our room had a small quaint balcony looking out to the pool. The location was convenient for the event we attended. The breakfast was well stocked, and the employees were friendly and conscientious about replenishing the items that were needed. They also gave a pleasant notice that they would be closing and wanted to make sure we didn’t need anything else. We didn’t feel rushed or in the way. Overall, the employees were friendly.

We did ask for complimentary water as we checked out. We were denied.

Good location in Santa Barbara

The receptionist guy at nite shift with hoody outfit. My family & I arrived around 10pm. I booked suite 2 queen beds with the sofa bed. However, he gave me regular 2 queen beds smaller size room without sofabed . I told him thats not the room I paid. He said with unprofessional manner that the hotel supposed not affiliate with booking.com and put the wrong picture :( He ended up giving me the room that I booked which was in fact bigger size with sofa bed. I hope Hilton has professional employees to handle his business with professional manner.

Two Things. Long waits for the SINGLE elevator! Hampton Inns always have at least two elevators. And, while some might like the motion-sensitive bathroom like - I DID NOT. I much prefer a soft red light to guide me in the night. There is no need for full light in the middle of the night. Besides, the bright like stops the production of natuaral melatonin - which affects one's sleep.

Reception - professional, efficient, and also warm and welcoming. Staff - our room had run out of shampoo (is is locked into the wall). We asked for it to be replenished and they could not move fast enough to make it right. Rooms - clean, tidy, comfortable. Perfect. Parking - part of the room cost, so no haggling and issues.

location is in an area that the parking lot in the rear of the building (which allows direct access to the rooms) is next to run down apartments that look like the steps are packed with garbage. It could even be a condemned building. The neighborhood is similarly run down. Bathroom needs to have a fan to vent.

The breakfast was great for my kids and I. it served its purpose.

The room for 4 people was really small for the amount of money I spent which was over $500/night. We didn’t have enough towels and bedding. It was a really cramped space for my kids and me but we needed a close by hotel to stay in to help my other daughter move into her apartment before attending UCSB.

It’s clean and Bill the front office staff is efficient . Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is good.

The bathroom. The faucet is rusted and the ceiling looks like there mold/ black spots.

We liked how clean the hotel was.

We didn’t like the noise level. I can hear the people next to us and the people above us had a child running around and stomping. Which didn’t affect us because when bedtime came around, we didn’t hear it. We were fine with the noise level because we weren’t in our rooms only for sleep time.
