The vibes and aesthetic were so high! Walking in I felt part of a movie😅 The room was boujee and my girlfriend loved the decorations. The staff were all super friendly, especially Martin the bartender in the lobby bar. We had good drinks and a genuine conversation with him. We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you all!

We could easily hear people outside your rooms, this wasn’t a deal breaker but it could be to someone else.

Rooms were kitschy and fun. Compact and efficient. Restaurant in the hotel was very good - great service and food, nice atmosphere. Front desk staff was helpful.

$15 parking fee to park in the parking lot at was once a motel seems a little over the top.

We enjoy the Leta very much. Our daughter is a student at UCSB an its fantastic to have a nice hotel with comfortable beds, good restaurant and bar and nice grounds to relax and enjoy. The Leta is also a perfect size hotel for us. We normally bring our pups and its wonderful to have the front patio and not an overwhelming amount of people. We'll be joining you again beginning of Nov. I will say there does happen to be an odor coming from our hotel bathroom sink and faucet each time. Knowing the water quality is so poor in these areas, figuring that has something to do with it. Thanks, Jill Dawson

This hotel was so nice and quaint, i love that it gave the old school vibe of a roadside motel, but much nicer and had all the hotel amenities. There is an onsite restaurant and bar (which we only ate at one of the days during our stay) but the breakfast was good and having the bar there made it nice to take drinks over to the pool to relax and enjoy. It was our first time in the Santa Barbara area, so a staff member recommended an upscale sushi place in downtown called Oku. It was amazing! The staff was always friendly and ready to help, rooms are clean, bed was very comfortable. The location makes it easy to go into downtown SB since its only about 15 mins away or less. They offer complementary coffee in the lobby in the morning, you can purchase snacks and drinks there as well. I would defiantly recommend staying here you get a good value for your money and i would love to come back!

Shower has no door, which looks nice, but makes for a big mess in the bathroom and water spills out everywhere. Bar service was a little slow. There was plenty of employees, but only one person was attending the restaurant and making drinks, it was a Sunday so the place wasn't busy or anything and was no rush on my part, but prefer not to stand there for 20mins waiting for a drink. Pool had a giant wad of hair floating around, there had been a lot of people down there the previous day so understandably it gets dirty, but thought maybe it could have been cleaned up that morning before others come down to use it.

The renovation is really cute. It was nice to have a place for our friends to come and visit in the communal spaces. Our dog was very comfortable there and we were not charged outrageous 'pet fees'. Most pet parents at the facility were very responsible.

Sound proofing in the room was not great, had some sleep interuptions with our neighbors arriving in the middle of the night and the hotel music is audible in the room. Also, it was dusty, both my partner and I has some allergies while in the room.

Bed very comfortable, loved having the robes available.

Only 2 towels in the room. No coffee maker in the room. Has a nice restaurant but would be nice to have coffee available in the morning. if not in room then comped in lobby or restaurant. Very basic to have coffee. I like to have in room before I start my day.

Vert clean and well maintained. The rooms are very comfortable. Decorations are very nice.

The room is decent sized. The bed was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the pet policy, though the rate was a bit high. The area is quiet

Charging $15 for parking in a residential area with plenty of on street parking seemed a bit much. Rates were high, but the hotel seemed like a 1960s motel. The bathroom was large but had only the basics swimming in empty space. Charging $3 for a small bottle of water is unbelievable.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Staff was also very quick to address and solve my concerns.

Some details inside the room were a bit dated and could use some sprucing up to feel more modern and cohesive with the overall vibe of the hotel environment. I did not like that there was only one chair at the table. If two people stay in the room there should be 2 chairs so we can each sit at the table to eat together.
