Front desk staff were cordial and helpful. She gave us a recommendation on a good coffee place in the morning (Dune’s) as well as a breakfast place (Ragin Cajun) which she said was better than iHop. I appreciated her honesty. Snacks in the lobby for purchase were plentiful. Front desk manager even asked me for my preference if I wanted the room on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor. I can’t remember the last time a hotel asked me for my floor preference. We chose the 3rd floor because it’s usually quieter. She also mentioned the rooftop bar was closed that evening due to the rain, so the room should be very quiet, which I thought was helpful info. We were doing a tour of ucsb the next day and the hotel location was perfect, about 5 minutes drive.

No free breakfast

The veggie omelette was really good and then the food from the rooftop restaurant was also amazing. I also loved the location, Target is right across the street, I was about to walk there and grab a few things I forgotten at home.

I stayed here two nights, the first night was in a King room and the second was in Corner King suite with a balcony. The first night, the room was very nice however, the bed was squeaky and not comfortable. Second night, the room was extremely spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Only thing I didn’t care for was my neighbors balcony was so close and there was zero privacy.

Lovely rooftop restaurant with a good selection of food and drink options. Nice breakfast menu with a la carte and buffet breakfast options. When choosing the buffet, the eggs are made to order by a chef rather than sitting in a warm tray drying out.

I stayed twice. Return stay was a ground floor room. There was too much light coming in u set the door from the hallway and there was too much mechanical noise outside. I usually stay in a high floor.

Great location, right opposite shopping mall with many great restaurants. The room was large with high ceilings which made it feel huge. The bathroom was a great size and well finished. The property was clean throughout a the staff were all very pleasant.

Only downside was that the rooftop restaurant wasn’t able to accommodate us (a party of 2). It was 5.30pm on a Friday and they seemed to have at least one large party already in. They did offer us to share a couch with another couple but we declined. Shame because it looked good.

Location was excellent for visiting our daughter attending UCSB. Lots of parking. Friendly and courteous staff. Facility was clean. Kids liked having ice cream bars from their mini convenience store in the lobby.

Furnishings, bathroom, and room felt worn and old. Shower had lukewarm not hot water. Shower head and drain were old and coming apart. Bedding was mediocre. No overhead light in our room—only a doorway light and lamp lights. Also had dinner at the Rooftop restaurant—disappointing ambiance; broken chairs and wobbly table. Food was ok. Oven was “broken” the night we had dinner there.

This is a great hotel to stay if you are visiting Santa Barbara. The hotel is located quite close to the beaches and other attractions. The hotel also offers free parking. The rooms are quite spacious and very clean. They also have a microwave and a fridge. Other than that, the room also have a coffee machine and free coffee. The hotel also has an onsite laundry that the guest can use. It also has a restaurant that is open until 8:30pm. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Great hotel and I can recommend it to anyone.

Easy location from airport and for access to the Santa Barbara County inland area. Very nice rooftop restaurant with nice food and drink selection with a nice territorial view. Good breakfast buffet with made-to-order eggs and a full à la carte menu. Comfortable beds, friendly staff.

The air conditioning unit couldn't be worse. Got heat to 87 degrees in middle of night. Couldn't figure out how to reset to cool and have it stay cool. Got cfool, then went up again to 85!

The daily breakfast was amazing and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

One of the beds was very squeaky and could use a box spring replacement. Also, there was a rust ring around the sink.

The stay was great! Very clean, friendly staff. The roof top was a plus! Enjoyed the live music. Service was great! Abraham did an awesome job of taking care of our group. Parking was great made it easy to park our RV. Thank you Hilton Garden Inn for making our stay enjoyable.

The bad smell in one of our room but could of been the next door room had plumbing issues the foul order was passing along to our room.
