The proximity to restaurants and the lake was superb. A quick walk to the beach or a bite to eat. The restaurant on the property was clean and the breakfast was ample. Many choices from fruit and yogurt to waffles, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and eggs. Good coffee topped it off. The beds were firm and everything was clean. The bathroom was wonderful with lots of hot water and water pressure in a new shower. Great towels too.

The carpets were threadbare and there were runs and tears in it. It would have been nice to have a pool or hot tub. Lots of free parking but with the restaurant going at night, the place filled up early. We had to park far away when we came back late one night from dinner.

Great location! We walked to Heavenly Village both nights (lots of restaurants and shops), and also walked to the gondola both days for skiing. We had easy access being on the first floor, so were able to park right outside our room for ease of unloading and loading. Our room had a mini fridge but no microwave, which was a bit disappointing. The included breakfast was pretty good - eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and the usual cereal, waffle maker and morning pastries. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful which was great!

There was not much lighting in the room aside from two small bedside lamps and a lamp on the desk. The bedside lamps were all plugged into a power strip between the beds which at one point got accidentally switched off, but a little investigation revealed the culprit.

The room was wonderful! Bed comfy and I was able to cast to the room TV…bonus! This is a pet friendly hotel in South Lake Tahoe so there’s not a ton high classness, but in terms of charming, hospitable, a local feel and all the warmth and magic of Tahoe, this place has it. It’s also located across from Heavenly Village so there’s tons to do, eat, shop for, etc. Great location! Just park at the hotel, get settled in, then walk around! Oh yeah, and amazing breakfast! It’s free, in the attached Hotel Becket restaurant, and has all the yummy stuff so many hotels no longer offer. We didn’t eat there for dinner but they gave us a a 25% discount coupon upon check in. Nice!

The shower was waaaay small. That’s it. That’s may only complaint.

The location was good—it was two blocks to the gondola. The bed was firm, which is how I like it, but definitely worn in. Breakfast was good and the service personnel kept it clean and restocked with plenty of food.

I asked several staff members at the front desk if the gondola was free for ski pass holders...not one had a clue. One gentleman tried looking it up, and told me I had to pay?!? I extensively tried looking it up prior to my stay online with no luck. We asked one of the local skiers and they said it was free for ski pass holders...so, maybe let your staff know if you have a ski ticket the gondola ride is included.

I love that they had an area for dogs to take care of their business. And you could get bags from the front office for clean up. The pricing was more affordable for our 2 dogs in comparison to other hotels. The complimentary breakfast was really good. It went beyond my expectations for the amount of food available. The staff at the hotel's bar were very friendly. I'm having trouble remembering her name, but she was excellent and had plenty to talk about with us as she made great drinks with a good twist for each of us. Black hair, nice tattoos, a real good person.

I couldn't tell if the heater was adjusting for us. I increased the heat, but the room felt more or less the same.

24/7 lobby with water dispenser +coffee/tea - very convenient. The beds were good. Clean room. Shower cabin and the water flow there is also good! I found everything I needed in the room. And thank you for preheating the room - it was perfectly set The breakfast was great!!!!

The sliding door to the bathroom (room 139) was weirdly installed - not comfortable to squeeze in between the edge of the bed and bathroom entrance.. at least it could have opened to the left, not to the right. The neighbours' noises are very well heard.

The location was great for being able to walk to sights and restaurants. The hotel had it's own restaurant and the hotel gave perks when visiting the restaurant. The staff and the atmosphere was great.

The shower head and water pressure weren't great but welcome to California and the restrictions placed on businesses. The bed was more firm than we like but it was comfortable enough. The parking area that we had to park in was also be used by people eating at the restaurant and not staying at the hotel, which sometimes made it difficulty to find a parking spot. They did have a second parking area but it was a little bit of a walk to some of the rooms.

The property is centrally located and within walking distance of the main touristy thoroughfare of South Lake Tahoe. The room was clean and appointed well enough. Although I heard (and read some in other reviews before I booked our stay) some complaints about breakfast, I thought it was fine and got the job done. I don’t expect a lot from hotels that include breakfast, but I appreciate the convenience. All staff were nice and very accommodating. Overall, I think the hotel provides great value.

I’m just under 6 ft and about 220 lbs. I’m a relatively big guy, but not huge. The shower gets the job done, but it was a bit tight to maneuver in.

The location is fantastic. Right across the street from the main Heavenly Village shopping. The breakfast was a solid full hot meal too. Meats, waffles, decent coffee, cereal.

Parking could have been a little easier; there's two lots for the hotel but you have to go all the way around a block to get from one to the other. The room could have also used a bit more lighting.

The location is perfect. Rooms really clean and smelling good. Good shower! Breakfast beyond our expectations, really good. Coffe, tea ,hot chocolate and water all day at the lobby. really comfortable beds and pillows.

They don’t have a pool or a good lobby ; don’t have a microwave inside the rooms, just one microwave ( dirty of course) in the lobby for all the guests (which for me was not a problem, but can be extremely important for some families with small children.)
