I was hesitant to book a room in this hotel because of some bad reviews mentioning the presence of cockroaches, for instance, or the fact that the staff kept their cash deposit. I still took the chance and booked a room at the Motel 6 in Visalia because there were excellent reviews and the rate was more affordable than other hotels in the area. Also, I booked this hotel because of its location. My room was spotless, cleaned and made everyday, and the staff was extremely friendly and professional. Every interaction I had with the staff during my stay was very pleasant. The deposit was promptly returned to me after the cleaning person checked the room. I couldn't have been happier with my stay in Visalia.

clean bed, clean floor, fridge & microwave, good price, large storage space, enough outlets, upgraded table/chairs, coffee at the front office is good.

Know in advance that you have to pay $60.00 cash only deposit. Very inconvenient. Coffeemaker in room would be basic, but there's none. And doors do not seal closed. Pool isn't locked to outsiders; a person walked in, fully clothed, took a swim, got back on her bike and rode away.

Front desk didnt understand the language the maids spoke , kept asking if we understood them . Thats bad why work there . Also Check in was at 3pm , Ive been calling since early about check in they said 3pm . Got there and they made me almost wait two hours because “no rooms were clean” . Which wasnt completely true There was a room ready but like i said the front desk didnt understand the maids . Overall room was clean , is was an okay location . One thing about the room is the tv is far and bad quality and the shower Barely any water comes out .

It looked like it was recently remodeled. Clean, bed very comfortable, looked kike fairly new/new linens. Staff was friendly, curteous & helpful. No pet fee!!! Ample parking Good value for cost. Would definitely stay again.

No toiletries except bar soap, but to be fair, I didnt go ask staff to provide it as I had my own. No coffee maker in room.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. I appreciated they called to ask me if I needed housekeeping when I extended my stay. I've stayed other places and had to chase down the maid for extra toilet paper. Not here! They're all so sweet and helpful.

Nothing to complain about. It was quiet. I got good rest and will always make this my first choice to stay when in Visalia.

Clean, well lit. The pool was clean and in a great spot. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking.

Only that these pillows were very lumpy. Most places have shampoo, conditioner etc. But they only provided soap. So bring your own. Stairwells a little dirty.

Front desk staff was great! Location was also a plus. For an older motel, it was nice.

The pictures online showed grab bars in the bathtub. I didn't ask for a handicap room because i thought all rooms had grab bars to help climbing into the bathtub.

Everything was wonderful! Friendly staff, great coffee and ALL parts of the property was VERY clean, including the pool, which was warm, quiet and pleasant. They also have equipment for individuals in wheelchairs to enjoy the pool!! Impressive all the way around.

The toilets are a little too tall, as I'm only 4'11"

It was clean had a lot of room and the cleaning ladies were really nice. I would come back again.

The motel was clean, with comfortable beds. Good location to get to Sequoia National Park. Walking distance do Applebee's. Staff is very friendly. I shared a room with 3 other friends, and the size room was quite good, we have been given clean towels next day. Room included microwave.
