Super close to Yale campus. Very safe. Nice walk to campus that I enjoyed. Eating establishments nearby. Hotel is relatively quiet. Staff very nice. Fun decor. Beds are comfortable. Nice room amenities. We took Uber from BDL so we did not have to worry about parking. I can’t imagine parking is fun, but we were very aware of this concern from word of mouth.

Our room was changed to a King without our knowledge, but the hotel staff helped us out the second night. We made it work. Wish there was more of a real breakfast in the am & items to buy at night, but we knew this going in too. That’s not their fault. The info is clearly stated & we bought snacks at a little convenience store down the street.

The room was spacious and very comfortably decorated the bed while a bit soft was very comfortable. The staff was especially attentive and helpful

for some reason, the room lacked any of the guide documents. one usually finds in a hotel room. no channel guide. no guide to the city. no information about using the facilities of the hotel. outside, the hotel as a prominent sign giving its previous name, not its current one, which makes it a little hard to identify.

This is an excellent hotel downtown New Haven, with a few minutes walk from Yale. It is nicely decorated and with a good taste. The room was spacious and very comfortable also to work.

Breakfast could be upgraded. It is not included in the price and costs $10 but offers (from what I was told) few pastries and coffee. Not many people choose to take breakfast. However, coffee shops exist, some around the corner to buy some nice espesso coffee. Also in the room there was only decaf coffee to make.

Wonderful themed hotel which is the perfect choice when visiting Yale and staying in New Haven! I really enjoyed the lobby and room decor, which is Yale themed. Everything was high quality, and the room is a good size, especially the bathroom. I also really liked the coffee shop down stairs that opened at 6:30 AM for coffee and pastries. The front of house staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have bicycles that are free to use!!

The price of the room per night is fairly high. Also, there are no foreign plugs / adapters available.

I like the comfort and decor of the room. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the cans of water available in the mini fridge. I liked the numerous lounging spaces available in the hotel. I enjoyed the cafe that was in the hotel. I liked how the staff responded to my various requests of storing luggage and calling a taxi for me. The location was excellent for exploring the Yale campus. I thought that the room cards with the "student cards" of celebrities were cute. It was a pleasant experience all way round and I would stay there again.

It would be nice to be able to have a breakfast at the hotel, but there were restaurants close by.

So unique! Fun and eclectic furnishings, great decor. It felt like stepping back in time. Room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the bathroom was bigger than mine at home! 😃 Great location - so many choices for dining, and lots of shops. We were there to visit with a great-nephew who is entering Yale Medical School, and we were able to walk almost everywhere; the hotel is practically on campus.

I have difficulty with my knees and there are some pretty steep steps coming in and out. But it’s not a dealbreaker - I would stay there again.

The atmosphere of the Graduate is fantastic! Super fun decor, and we loved the cafe (they even let us hang out in the back room while the cafe was closed during the evening for some family board games). Staff were quite friendly, and even accommodated us checking in a bit early (and held our bags until the room was ready). We upgraded our room to a king for just a couple of dollars, which was wild since it was during Yale graduations! Surprisingly affordable accommodations, definitely a good value.

Just wish we could have stayed longer :) The only super tiny thing is the lady at the desk didn't seem to want to check if our specific room was ready, she just offered to hold our bags and tell us to check back later (but given the hotel was full the night before, this was still fairly reasonable).

The locations of the hotel was close to my destination. Its inside and room was so clean and bright to make me feel comfortable. The staff kindly managed to change a room to the same type of the room when it had a problem in flushing. They don't have normal breakfast but serve small things of bun, pie, etc. and provide vouchers for beverage. The staff are so friendly welcoming and nicely supporting a guest in my experience. They shared the traffic information such as parking rule.

It was very charming, loved the room. Everything was impeccably clean and neat. Beds were very comfy, and the bathroom was big and super clean! The staff was very pleasant. Great location if you’re visiting Yale University. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in the area. Would most definitely stay here again.

Everything was great. Just would’ve liked if they offered more food items (like for breakfast) at the coffee place in the lobby.

This is a great hotel slap bang in the middle of New Haven Yale Campus . Centrally located for the arts, restaurants, live music venues it is perfect. The staff are outstanding and will help with any queries you have and provided me with a pin ho to overcome the rain. A fantastic lobby area with books is ideal to relax with a coffee.
