The hotel was nice, with a nice setup with the swimming pool in de middle and the accommodation & rooms around it and the overall premises were well-kept with a beautiful garden-like style. They have free parking and a great (and free!) shuttle system running from early morning till late evening that conveniently takes you to and from the town-center so you don't need to bother about parking and can have a few drinks and not having to drive back. Also the coffee station in the lobby in the morning was great.

Facilities were nice and well maintained.

There was a $54 a day resort fee that was not disclosed anywhere till we arrived at the facility. $100 a day deposit for incidentals and a $54 resort fee takes a chunk when your traveling on a budget.

On a family trip to Miami we traveled to Key West for 4 nights. We had a Queen Suite for the 5 of us (2 adults & 3 teens). It was a perfect size. There was a small kitchenette with a sink, fridge, microwave & coffee machine. We had brought paper plates, paper towels and plastic cutlery (purchased in supermarket locally) and had a few basics for the hungry teenagers so having a small kitchen area was handy but we did mainly ate out. The hotel itself is really lovely, a very relaxed feel to it & well kept. Very friendly & helpful staff. The hotel is situated directly across the road from Smathers Beach which is absolutely beautiful. We also spent time around the hotel pool, which was lovely. There was road works directly outside on main road but still easy to cross over to the beach and we never heard any construction noise. Parking (free) was right outside hotel door on the grounds which was ideal. A free shuttle bus runs to the town centre and back to the hotel regularly, which was really handy & we availed of this service a few times! It stayed during Halloween week, it was extra fun and lively in the town especially on Duval Street which we loved! But also taking time to walk around the smaller streets & Mallory Square was lovely. We were staying on Halloween night & the room next door in the Hotel had music quite loud with some noise (which is expected, given the evening it was!). It was only early, around 8/8.30pm & having our own teens it didn’t bother us. However obviously another resident complained as we did hear hotel staff call to the room and ask them politely to turn it down and there was no more noise for the rest of the night. We were impressed with the staff dealing with it so quickly even though it wasn’t too bad and it was Halloween after all! We loved our stay in the Margaritaville Beach house, can’t fault anything. Highly recommend a stay here & Key West is beautiful. We’ll be back!

The room was nice and clean (enough) but its age is beginning to show. The property’s layout is well thought out and allows guests to bypass the lobby and the restaurant to go straight to the room when returning from the pool. The pool is a little small for a property of this size but it was kept clean. We were able to get chairs at the pool likely because the property was not fully booked. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but the covered patio is nice and big with plenty of seating. The easy going staff Is probably the best thing.

My wife found a large dead roach in the room and we looked but it seems that was the only one.

We had an amazing stay at Margaritaville Beach House in Key West! The room was spotless, spacious, and had island charm that made it feel like vacation the second we walked in. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The pool area? So Fun. Plenty of lounge chairs, palm trees swaying, and great music playing in the background. It had such a fun, laid-back vibe—perfect for relaxing with a drink or cooling off after a hot day exploring. The shuttle service was a game-changer! Super convenient, always on time. It made getting to Old Town and back a total breeze without worrying about parking, traffic or having a DD if you have a few toooo many. We ended up booking an extra night because we weren't ready to leave. If you’re looking for a place that is all inclusive, comfort, fun, and island style, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

Just a quick suggestion: the rooms really needs more hooks. There were only two hooks in the bathroom for five people, which wasn’t nearly enough for towels, wet swimsuits, or clothes. Also, there’s plenty of space to add small dressers or shelving so guests can actually unpack. A few simple additions would make the room way more functional for groups or longer stays.

Geared for fun and relaxation, the resort has parrothead themed decór and music. The pet-friendly policy meant our Pomeranian could hang out with us in the public areas and make friends with children and adults. The restaurant was good, the staff were great, the pool with prowling iguanas was fabulous. Little things like hammocks & cornhole sets reinforced the R&R vibe. The concierge was super helpful getting us set up for activities and recommended restaurants. The downtown shuttle was a great convenience and Luann the driver especially deserved kudos. It was a nice touch having limes, lemons, and oranges in the ice-dispensing area, though the ice was dumped , frozen solid, in bags and had to be smashed up to be usable — see below about maintenance issues, as those employees seemed to have little supervision or structure.

The bed and couch surfaces were too hard. A firm mattress is good, but it needs cushioning on top. We both woke up feeling beaten up most mornings of our two-week stay, and the couple of evenings we wanted to relax and watch a movie, the rock-hard, right-angled, armless chaise that substituted for a couch made it less than relaxing. Also, maintenance seems deferred. The shower drain flooded the bathroom; the barn-style bathroom door dropped a heavy piece of hardware which fortunately no one was standing under; the ground-floor elevator entrance had a broken grate covered by a rumpled mat which was a trip hazard—other small things like that.

The room had no tower racks ir places to hang wet towels. As a reult we had to constantly call for fresh towels and wash clothes. Had there been a place to hang them dry. We could have reused the same towel cutting laubdry in half. J7st a couple hooks on the back of the bathroom door would go a l9ng way to save cost to the resirt.

Just across the road to Smathers Beach, very well located to enjoy the beach. Room was well furnished and in good taste. Pool was very pleasant and complimentary coffee in the mornings was a plus.

Pool bar and restaurant often had too few servers, we sometimes had to look around for someone to ask for a drink, and food took a long time to reach us.

I visited with friends and we all flew in from different states. We were able to drop off our luggage and explore until we could check in or Fly out. Complimentary shuttle to and from the airport is included. There is also a shuttle down to the Wharf area which leaves on the Hour until 11pm. The Beach is directly across the street. And the pool is heated and enjoyable. We went around Christmas and the lobby looked beautiful without going overboard on the decorations.

The grounds are small. But again, the Beach is across the street. No convenience stores near by. I would of liked to have stocked our fridge.

The room was huge and the staff was amazing. They were so friendly and accommodating. Every need was met with a smile and warm and genuine conversation. The shuttle was instrumental for our visit. It took us just a few short blocks from Duval St and was there in an instant for transport to and from the airport. We got married right across the street from the hotel on the beach. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation/wedding/honeymoon. I would highly recommend The Margaritaville Beach House Hotel.
