Location is perfect! Early in the morning you can go to the pier and watch beautiful sunrise You can easily walk around downtown during the day. I enjoyed running along the beach trail in the evening, the views of the city in the night are fascinating. There is a Sunrunner bus stop right at the corner that brings you to the St Pete Beach in 30 min for $2.25, Publix grocery store - in 5 min walk. I could not find any comparable location at this price. So we really enjoyed our stay at Ponce and would probably return there again

I wish the cleaning service was better and the rooms have been tidier. We stayed for 5 nights and room service came only twice, and basically only took the garbage out, and left fresh towels on the bed. No floor or dust or bathroom cleaning. Coffee machine was on the cheapest side and did not work… The receptionist could not give us advice on the basic city transportation, I wish they would be more helpful.

The staff were amazing. The first night we were there, a woman with 2 kids was making a lot of noise. It wasn't the kids but the lady just kept shouting at them. I informed 'Morgan' who was on the front desk and he immediately went up and told her that guests had been complaining and she quietened down. Was so appreciative of that as a nosy neighbor in a hotel is not a pleasant experience. The hotel is very well situated in the downtown area and the room was great. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit rustic but the shower pressure was amazing which I always find important.

Only complaint I have which is silly was the shower has a metal frame and I banged my head on it twice. But that's just me not looking where I'm going. Didn't bang it again after that. The lift was out of order but in all honesty we all need to do more exercise so it didn't bother me one bit.

The hotel's location is simply unbeatable! Right in the middle of downtown, close to everything you can imagine (restaurants, parking garage - thanks for the tip btw!, yacht club etc). I was there to race in a sprint triathlon that was going to kick off from Vinoy park (short walking distance) and had arrived at 10.30 AM in the morning. The Supervisor Gizem (shout out to her!) was just fantastic, very helpful and was able to find a clean room for me to check in my stuff so that I could run my pre-race errands smoothly.

The facility and rooms could use a face lift.

We have stayed here several times over the years and absolutely love the location. Our room appeared to have had some updating. It was definitely a nice improvement. Bed was much more comfortable . It is a great place to stay to enjoy a getaway weekend in downtown St. Pete.

The elevator is a little sketchy sounding like it could conk out at any time.The Latin club on the corner partied to the wee hours on a Friday night but obviously this is beyond the hotel’s control.

Loved the old hotel including the squeaky old-fashioned bed which was very comfortable. I found a very convenient parking garage just a block away on Central Ave which was distinguishable and easy to find and remember. The waterfront a couple of blocks away had cute shops and some eating ideas as well as Central, which is the main street through St. Pete. All in all, despite some rain, the stay was wonderful.

Needed a bedside lamp and plug in for cell phone.

Beautiful older hotel with nice views and features.

Clearly needs updating. The room I had was missing a blind on the window so let the sunlight in early in the morning (not great after a late night!) The shower is quite old and shower curtain had seen better days. The ceiling showed signs of previous leaks and cracks around the window. Appeared of the 1950’s era! The carpets were stained and looked well worn. The bed was quite uncomfortable, squeaky and very dated. My brother had a much better room with hardwood floors and a sofa bed that looked like it had been pulled out of dumpster! His shower was slightly more updated but not modern.

The Wi-Fi was difficultThe Wi-Fi was difficult to connect to, and we couldn't get online. If we had needed it for this trip, it would have been a disaster.

The location was great, and the staff was nice. They kept the room stocked with clean towels.

Had to pay for parking in a parking garage that was not advertised very well, so that added an unexpected cost. Also, the rooms did not have a microwave.

We lovee the location! Very convenient! We love that nobody bothers us, everyone was nice! Nice room layout also!

Wish they offered a discount with parking- the parking garage isn’t bad, not a far walk- just hate paying around 9-12.00 a day.

It was very nice room I had a small balcony I love the bathroom great shower the TV was a little hard to get used to though because of how it was set up but overall I loved it can't wait to go back again

The only thing I can actually say that bother me was that I didn't have my room cleaned everyday but I know I booked it for 10 days but still every day you should come in at least clean the floors and you know maybe it's for the fact that I had the room so long but I still was looking for every day you coming at least you know give me a new towels but after I notify management then they will bring towels every day and do my trash
