Room size is generous, balcony and facilities all good including a full size refrigerator and cooking facilities, dining bench and stools. Comfortable bed, parking near our entry door. Bahama Breeze restaurant is adjacent and the bayside location is picturesque. I imagine it would not be convenient without a car, but we appreciated it because we visited several other areas around Tampa, not just downtown. As others have mentioned, the property is showing its age a bit. It has good bones but is in need of maintenance and in some spots some deep cleaning - for instance, the sliding balcony door was a struggle to open and close every time and the tracks need cleaning out - but nothing that a competent handyperson couldn't address over time. All this, though, is reflected in the reasonable room rate.

Older building but the room was very nice and clean. Staff was extremely nice. The pool which is advertised as heated was COLD. Using the Free Shuttle for travel around the area was was not at all convenient because they were too busy transporting cruise travelers that when stopping by the lobby around 10am the earliest they could accommodate us on a shuttle to go shopping was 3pm. We just used Lyft instead. Overall our stay was nice and the staff was helpful. We loved having the kitchen. We would 100% stay again. 😊

Swimming pool was cold. Shuttle service to the places they offer in the area was not convenient.

The suite was very clean and comfortable and a good set up. Lighting and bedding and linens were great. The kitchen was dated, but a great plus. The shower worked great and was very clean. It was quiet in a mostly residential location and close to the water. The 24 hour staff made it so welcoming even though my arrival was after midnight.

It was a little hard to find in the dark- it's not lit all that well. There was rust on many things that had not been updated yet. The toilet did not have a ton of pressure in it. The thermostat was a crazy aged- it worked, but the cooling system was so loud, I had to turn it off at night. A screen on the sliding door might be nice so the fresh air could be let in without bugs since the heating cooling was so loud.

Breakfast had a variety of choices, the little cuban woman who maintained the buffet on Saturday was an absolute DELIGHT! I wish I knew her name. Having ice cream bars in the lobby for purchase was fun. Well stocked kitchen, thank you. Linens, towels were nice.

Things/furniture in room were tired/worn, seen newer days for sure. They worked, but getting sad looking. Front door in 317 sticks, difficult to open from outside. Having some non stairs rooms with 2 beds would have been nice, my mom is 91yo--it was hard.

This property was amazing! Very friendly staff. It’s not close to a lot however it’s close to the airport and the mall. don’t let that scare you though because it’s still a gem. They will shuttle you anywhere within a 4 mile radius. The place was clean and exactly what the pictures show. The pool was heated my favorite part was it was quiet. You can’t hear what’s going on in the next room and it was similar to having like my own little apartment. If you’re in the bay please check this place out.

Location is very convenient to the airport and Tampa downtown.

Minimal housekeeping is an issue. Having the trash emptied daily is needed. Lots of construction some of which is understandable given the recent extreme weather. But not having the deck to relax on diminishes the experience. It should have been noted when booking the reservation that major construction (as opposed to repairs from storms) was taking place.

The bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable.

The day staff were absolutely fantastic. We got to our room & there was no kettle, so we had to boil water the old fashioned way. We just needed a dash of milk, but the lone night shift male worker, was rude and told us to wait for the market to open in the morning. It was such a contrast to earlier. After we went for breakfast we realised he could easily have assisted as there was milk in the dining room fridge.

what can I not say. it's location is beyond perfect for my stay. A clean and quiet stay. It's setup was more of like an apartment making me feel like my second home.. A few miles from the airport but yet serene with the bonus of the bay right on the property .Omg the pool was a heated pool as well !

so the minor and I do mean minor is that the ice machine is located in the main building where you check in

Very helpful staff, good family facilities, bball, pool etc. Work going on to make a breakfast room which will be lovely. Room spacious, perfect spot for airport and American football stadium. Good value, would stay again. Shuttle hit and miss but uber available. Lovely location by inlet, Sea Breeze restaurant very close by- next door, and good. Good options food deliveries.
