We have stayed previously whilst in Chicago, this hotel doesn’t have all the frills of maybe a higher rated establishment but the price is very attractive with its position in the city being its best bonus . A friendly team awaits you on arrival and throughout your stay are very obliging. Rooms are large , clean and the king size beds are good for a good nights sleep.
No security safe in the bedroom. The breakfast arrangement needs to be improved, serving everything on polystyrene plates etc is a big minus we didn’t eat there. Being a little picky , our stay this time was slightly marred by the fact that we were in a room at the back of the hotel and the noise of the local metro trains disrupted my sleep through the night

Beds were comfortable and awesome.. it was close to everything we wanted to do… nice little continental breakfast too
Parking is not really discussed when booking on this property… we incurred another 120.00 dollars for parking to our bill… just wish this was explained upfront as it really is a hidden cost at this hotel.. you all have been warned PARKING WILL BE EXTRA

I really likes the breakfast.you got waffles, Cornflakes and a changing warm meal every Day.futhermore, the hotel offers an baggage room where you can left your luggage after check out for a while to pick it upp later on. The service tried its best to help me with some invoicing issues and other stuff. Perfect central located hotel in Downtown.
Shower handle was brocken and the air conditioner in the bath couldnt be stopped during night.no water Boiler and tea available.

Location is great. Considering close to El train was not noisy. Breakfast was better than expected. Bed was very comfortable.
Room door dud not lock well when leaving. Need to pull door handle hard outwards and listen for the deadbolt to move. Room had a bit too much cleaner smell. Not bad just excessive.

The hotel was around the corner from my daughter's apartment, and mass transit lines on Wells. There is a drive up parking space from the Madison entrance (one way heading West) which is better than the "no parking" zone directly in front of the main entrance on Franklin. There are iParkit garages nearby (download the app) where you can park cheaper than paying the hotel garage fee. The breakfast is continental, plus the hot station, served by staff behind the plexiglass barriers, which I preferred, because it regulates the mess around the steam trays and prevents guests from hoarding huge portions. There are 3 waffle irons and assorted bagels and sliced breads in to-go paper sleeves. Boiled eggs, yogurt, bananas, oatmeal packets beside the whole milk dispenser. Coffee and tea station right by the entrance bottlenecks the breakfast area, so just bypass it until you get to the actual food section around the corner. Each room had a fridge and microwave, which was very helpful.
There are only 2 elevators for 8 floors, which can get crowded and have long wait times around breakfast time. Starts at 7 am on weekdays and 8 am on weekends.

The rooms are comfortable, but not properly cleaned. I noticed a lot of dust and hair in the corners and on the baseboards. The bathtub was yellowish, looking like it hadn't been cleaned properly. On the carpet floor, walking around in socks for 1 minute got dirty, which shows that the carpet wasn't properly vacuumed.

We stayed for 2 nights and our price was a little over $300 which is an amazing deal for the area we were in. Every other hotel wanted to charge at least $500 for 2 nights but we went with la Quinta and couldn’t be more pleased. We got a single king bed room and it was extremely spacious, the bathroom was very nice and clean, and over all the room felt very nice for how little we paid for it.
The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that they had someone serving breakfast. I’ve never had a hotel breakfast that was set up like a cafeteria style where they plate up your food for you. It just caused a longer wait for food. I feel like they should just let people get their own food because I wasn’t a big fan of it.

The location for this property is great. It's very close to the EL train and a short walk to the river, Millennium Park, and the Willis tower. Independent parking is nearby and we were able to reserve parking (not from the hotel) for $80 for 3 days. The neighborhood felt very safe. The room was very clean and a decent size. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The price was right.
Our room had no view, however we didn't pay for a view so we didn't expect one, but still disappointing that all we could see was the inside of the building. Breakfast was chaos and disappointing. They often ran short on supplies. They didn't have a variety of baked goods, fruit, or yogurt which my son likes. On the weekends they only had biscuits and gravy and no eggs. Breakfast was definitely a let down. The elevators were really busy and slow, especially in the morning so we ended up taking the stairs often. Fine for us but may be challenging for others. They do not have any maid service but that seems standard a lot of the times with hotels these days.

The location is really good!
Unfortunately the hotel is not friendly for those who travel for business. The staff refused to issue folios even though they knew I will need them what I communicated while checking in. At the end, I have got them but I had to ask booking.com for the assistance. They serve the same breakfast everyday, I slept 6 nights so I was able to see it. The ventilation in the room is very loud and you are not able to turn off. At the front desk, I have heard that for Europeans it is loud but Americans got used to it (do we have different ears?!) Well, I have stayed in many American hotels and they did not have that issue.
