It was a family trip and there is a lot of family activities, which was nice. Beds and pillows were awesome no bad issues. All bar and restaurant staff were nice and doing the best they could. Dark haired, little older lady was awesome loved her assistant and accommodating with kids and 4 adults. Wish I had her name.

The continental breakfast was not good. Not a lot of options like yogurt, which when I seen it one day and never seen it. No other options besides bread or bagels. No muffins and no fruit. Bar and restaurant were short staffed and drinks and food were slow to arrive. AppStore great and good portion, but platters were weak and catfish was over cooked to the point of crunchy only one piece of fish which is not a platter to me.

It is an interesting property with clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was sufficient and nice, with real orange juice! The coffee was good.

I do not like a $50 fee for a pet fee. The fee was more than 50 percent of the stay. I have my golden groomed and lay down my sheets or towels for her to lay. We leave no trace and I know none of that money goes to the cleaning person, nor does it seem any excessive cleaning happens. Not everyone is traveling for leisure and i feel this needs to be reassessed. $25 is sufficient if at all necessary…. The doors stick and slam. The bathroom is updated and cute but I prefer to have a door or curtain. We were there from 10 pm to 8 am…..the restaurant only offered fried foods when we called at 8:30 and closed at 9, there wasn’t much else on the exit besides fast food at that time.

I loved the style of the hotel. Not too sure but it seemed like a southwestern theme. I loved the courtyard, it was beautiful but it was too hot outside to really enjoy it. The breakfasts were excellent. Plenty of everything and the staff there were very helpful. The restaurant was very nice and we had tasty wings for lunch, the bartender was so sweet and friendly too. The bed was a dream. The bathroom was simply gorgeous! The door was a sliding barn door. The ceiling in the room had beams across them that were very lovely.

The microwave did not heat anything at all. A huge caterpillar was in the bathroom and the next day some sort of black bug was also in the bathroom. Probably crawling in from under the front door. Also the view was a big over grown lot being excavated starting at 7 am in the morning with the backhoes. (alarm clock?) It was also 32 minutes from the heart of Lexington.

This hotel is truly a hidden gem. The room was perfect, horse themed decor was fun, and it was very conveniently located. Price was very fair!

I would have preferred to hear music instead of the arcade games in the swimming area, and it would have been nice to have fruit at breakfast. We had traveled far that day and had to pay (by choice) extra $25 to get in an hour early. We had come from riding horses, so we didn't feel that we could hang out much longer outside as it was 100 degrees that day. Also I cleaned the bugs out of the pool area and in the pool so my daughter could swim, but once that was done, she enjoyed the pool.

Overall good. Breakfast was just OK. Front desk the young lady checking us in was really friendly and helpful.

One thing I did not like about the room was the decor--while I understand the 'horsebarn' theme, the room was all black (including the ceiling) so it was VERY dark, even with all of the lamps on. No overhead light. We were only here for 1 night but if it was a longer stay, I would really dislike that. Idk if it is part of the hotel or separate, but the restaurant service (or maybe just our server) was terrible. Food and drinks were OK, but she was not attentive, not very pleasant, not very knowledgeable about the menu etc.

The pool area looked great and so did the outside grounds. The bed was comfy but the room was a little dark and we had issues getting the TV to work right. I wish we would've had time to enjoy their pool and restaurant.

The TV in the room was a bear to get to work correctly the room needed more lighting. We finally made it to the room about 11:30 pm due to getting out of a concert. I called the front desk in the morning for a later checkout they said if we wanted to check out an hour later it would be $25.00 or 2 hours later $50.00.

Convenient location & plenty of parking space with a well-lit parking lot. Front end staff were very kind, friendly, & accommodating. Loved the layout of the room & especially the bathroom. Comfortable bed & pillows. Wish the lighting could have been better but not a big deal. Breakfast was good. Barrel 53 was perfect! Loved the atmosphere & staff. Wonderful choices & great food, stiff drinks. Absolutely loved the central patio! Wonderful place to stay!

Room a little dim & needed another small side lamp. Otherwise, perfect

Perfect for a quick weekend get away. perfect location, perfect amenities, fun family friendly hotel!

I was very pleased with our stay. Only frustration was that we arrived ahead of schedule (24 minutes before check in) and they wouldn't let us access our room even though it was clearly stated that it was ready if we wanted to pay a $25 early check in fee. Which I totally get that is the policy but most hotels let you check in if you're there within an hour of check in because traveling sometimes timing is out of your control. However not a big deal. The only thing about the room that I would change would be the open shower, it was very cold to take a shower even with the hottest water temp because there was no curtain or glass that closed you in but again definitely not something I'd take away any points for. We loved our stay and had a fabulous weekend!

If you enjoy horses, you will like this horse themed hotel. Recently (within 6 months) remodeled and tastefully done, we enjoyed it very much. A huge courtyard (called the Paddock) has firepit and nice seating. The showers are walk in. They have a restaurant and bar with live music or other events several nights per week. Every employee I spoke with was very outgoing and friendly. They also have a conference center. Plenty of parking. Close to interstate.

Breakfast left much to be desired and the restaurant was not open for breakfast. I enjoy healthy options for breakfast such as fresh fruit and yogurts. Options were: scrambled eggs, sausage and a few breads, waffles cereals, coffee and juices (not quality juices).

Very clean! NO Bugs! That's always a big one for me LOL. Beautiful decor and theme throughout the hotel. Very nice place to stay! Pool was very clean and large. Great set up with arcade games/corn hole and plenty of seating around the indoor pool area. Breakfast was great! Plenty of food and drinks. Staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night but definitely would stay again if needed.

Tv remote didn't work properly. Just an annoyance. Walls are very thin so you can hear your neighbors a little. We was not disturbed through the night though. Rooms seem to be smaller than average but everything else was great so it was okay. Lighting is an issue. No overhead lights so the rooms are kinda dark.
