Love, Love this place. Didn’t want to leave. My children loved it here. The room was huge. Everybody was so friendly. The pool was great. Booked last minute because issues with a different hotel and was so glad I did. Felt like luxury on a dime. Love that it had it own entrance to the CVS next to it. Hotel has a lot to offer. Will be staying here again when I come back to Kentucky. Best hotel I have stayed in by far. Valet was so nice and easy. Never had to wait long for my car. I really enjoyed that part(so did my kids). The young lady at the front desk was so nice, and personable I really wish I got her name. She was fairly new but helped me do nicely.

The breakfast. It wasn’t good. After the first day my kids stopped getting up for it because they said they didn’t like it. Actually it was so bad that after we left their we went to a hotel in a Michigan and the refused to eat the breakfast their too,(which had really great breakfast) because they said they didn’t trust hotel breakfast anymore because this hotels breakfast was so bad. Eggs are like plastic. My son said even the bacon was bad.

The room was clean and spacious. The beds could be a bit more comfortable, seemed like the mattress needed replacing but the overall room was lovely and great for our group. The hotel itself was always great and convenient within walking distance to lots of attractions. The breakfast was hearty and a great value.

The beds could have been more comfortable and only valet parking was available because of the city location (fine if you are flying) but we drove. Also the valet cost was pretty high. The Seelbach across the street had cheaper valet and I think it was in the same lot.

The staff was great-super friendly and helpful with any questions we had, and had great recommendations! The breakfast was delicious and everything was well stocked. The room we were in was way more spacious than expected (room 756). Very good location-practically at Fourth Street Live! Within walking distance to numerous restaurants and things to do.

Our only real complaint was the pool. The pool area was very nice, but the pool water was dirty....... I know you can't help what other people do, but it appeared that someone had shaved in the pool. LOTS of hair in the pool. So that could have been cleaner. One of the barn door type doors in our room seemed to have been off track because it was super hard to open and close. But that isn't really anything to not like, just a minor inconvenience.

2 room suite available that could sleep 5 with small living room separate from bedroom. The HVAC system was consistent and quiet. Bed and pillows comfortable. Room and hallways overall quiet except for occasional siren. Fortunately we had an outdoor view (but at first were assigned to an atrium view which I would not have been thrilled with… strange they are the same category). Full buffet breakfast included in a huge breakfast room… featuring a variety of items plus made to order omelets. Did not get a chance to try the evening reception with free drinks, though that was a nice option too. CVS pharmacy attached to hotel(although shelves quite empty and many items locked up). Within a 10 min walk of many restaurants and the Slugger & Ali museums. 10 min drive to Churchill Downs. Building is an old department store but overall in good condition. Staff was friendly. Quickly brought up extra blankets for couch.

At check-in when discussing housekeeping (that you need to request) employee announced my room number twice loudly even with guests standing behind me. The lobby had overwhelming smell like someone dropped a bottle of cologne due to a device that was visibly diffusing this scent (and we’re not even scent-sensitive thankfully). The “4th street live” entertainment district down the block was disappointing … quite deserted maybe due to the blaring music from every direction and many places seeming short-staffed. Fridge in room was small and didn’t get very cold, with no way to adjust.

Absolutely love the evening reception with two complimentary drinks and snacks. It's a great way to unwind after a day of buzzing around town. The breakfast is wonderful. Lots of options and the staff is always busy and pleasant. Great proximity to everything in Louisville. We travel alot and The Embassy Suites in Louisville is truly one of our very favorite places!

The pool area is lacking size and a cozy feel. The elevators are terrible.

We really enjoyed the complementary free drinks during happy hour. The breakfast was exceptional. The food was really good, and the hotel offered a large variety of food to choose from. The room was listed as a king suite, and it was plenty enough room to move around in. It had a large walk-in bathroom, closets, and living area. This hotel did not disappoint, and we have stayed there twice now while visiting Louisville. Great hotel and great location to 4th St live.

Booking.com stated that the cost of the room will be $170 for the night. It ended up being $220 for the night because I wasn't expecting to pay that much for valet parking. However, this is the only way to park for the hotel since it is a 6-block walk to the nearest parking area.

The Breakfast was great! The room was comfortable and quiet.

Desk Clerks working during the time I checked in "DO NOT" know the Airport Shuttle Hours, because upon check-in, a Blonde Hair Girl with black roots, took my name and other information to schedule one formy departure. Airport Shuttle ONLY RUNS from 7AM to 7PM. PLEASE PLACE THESE TIMES ON WEBSITE AND INFORMATION PAGE/SITE. It will save alot of stress, anxiety and money, and definitely Lyfy/Uber Money.

I had an early morning wake up call that the property was unable to disable, after multiple requests to stop the daily morning call we finally had to unplug the phones in our room. The staff was friendly and explained they were trying everything they could but couldn’t figure out why we kept getting the daily call.

Centrally located next to 4th street live entertainment area. Also within walking distance of whiskey row on Main Street and the river boat. Many Places for bourbon tasting. Very comfortable and spacious hotel with good breakfast included. Also had a two drink per person reception included each day at 5pm.

Maid skipped cleaning on second day and we had to ask for the room to be cleaned while we were gone. Front desk was very receptive.

Everything was excellent from the staff to the breakfast to house keeping to the spacious room, and the beautiful hotel itself. It was a good location as well in the middle of downtown, and

My only complaint is that they need to use fabric softener or get better pillow cases and sheets because they were scratchy enough that I woke up with 2 abrasions on my face and left blood stains on their pillow case.
