The breakfast was very limited, mainly cereals, no eggs or bacon. The location is excellent, just 2 minutes from the convention center. There are many options for restaurants around, especially in the market just across the street.

There is a smell of smoke in the room. The windows cannot open, so you have to use only the AC. Sometimes some weird people, or homeless people are staying around the parking. However, I didn't have any problem with them when I stayed there.

Mr Patel was lovely on checkin, changed the room immediately when we thought it smelled of smoke. Good price for the hotel & parking for central Louisville

The road outside is very noisy so you might want to take earplugs for a good nights sleep.

Well it was nice and decent. I was told it Was safe by the upfront desk clerk to go to my room and see a fight outside my window happening as I just had checked in. I realize Louisville isn’t safe anymore but she should have said it’s not the safest place just be cautious.

Violence outside my window which I know is no fault of the hotel but just don’t say it’s safe when it’s clearly not.

The front desk worker, T’ann, helped me out and made me feel I was going home every day after my whole day tour in Louisville. I also witnessed she helped a customer who can’t speak English. She tried different ways to help him and provided the best service. I have traveled to almost 50 states and stayed in lots of hotels. I can tell you: she is the best!!!! 👍👍👍

Room is not that clean like I thought. Hair is all over the places such as bed, pillows, and toilet. 😞 in my opinion, “ clean” is a very basic standard for a hotel even a cheaper one.

Breakfast was not what I expected. Very little to choose from. Toaster was broken. The waffle machine was broken. We went to Breakfast bar about 830 am and the choices were very limited. Milk containers were empty or near empty. Bar did not seem to be maintained by a staff person checking on items offered for Breakfast. Very disappointed in Breakfast

Econo Lodge is situated close to the center of Louisville, and in close vicinity to some important locations such as the Kentucky International Convention Center (5 minutes walking distance). The receptionists were welcoming & helpful. They even recommended attractions close by, which are worth visiting. The rooms were clean, spacious & the beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean; however, the space was limited. Room amenities such as towels and soap were provided. The breakfast was alright, which included bagels, hot pancakes, bread, cereals, yogurt etc. The staff was friendly and the room service was good as well.

During our stay of 6 nights, our keycard got disabled thrice, which was a bit annoying to find out after reaching the door. Nothing significant other than that.

We first stayed at this motel because we had a family member extremely ill in U of L hospital and the motel was near by. It was an excellent choice. Beds comfortable, nice appliances in room for our use, and accessible. When not too tired to use there was a fitness room available. Nice continental breakfast and reasonable prices. We have made repeat visits. Our downtown Louisville motel of choice.

Great for the value of the money

Deposit of $100 was not declared to me prior to my staying. It should be stated that you will have to pay $100 , also they should told about the $5 for parking. All and all it is good for the value of the money I have paid compared to other hotels

Location was great.

Having to pay extra for parking. The room was not very soundproof - kind of a lot of street noise. The place suffered a fire while we were there during the day due to a welder repairing the metal railings. Did not affect our room, though.
