The property was excellent. Staff very friendly on the front desk and throughout. Our room was excellent. Exceeded our expectations. Very clean throughout and our room was the Perfect size - not too big, not too small. Excellently appointed with everything f we needed. Separate seating area and desk area. Loved the hotel. Will definitely stay at others within the collection. Food was excellent.

There was nothing we didn’t like. We were there for 3 nights. I expected more from the menu. Outside steak. No burger. Not a surprise in the restaurant, but the bar? Not enough vegetarian options. Doesn’t need to be a lot but what there was wasn’t amazing. However, the key lime pie was possibly one of the greatest desserts we’ve ever had. Beautiful!!

Close to everything—we were there for a concert at the Yum center. We didn’t have to worry about traffic after, just a walk back to the hotel.

No microwave in the room. Also parking. It was street parking, parking garage or hotel valet. All weren’t cheap options, but it was the first hotel on the middle of downtown in any city so maybe that’s the norm.

Hotel Distil is centrally located and very comfortable. It is quiet and I never heard another voice/noise between walls or floors. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well appointed with everything we needed.

The hotel and rooms are a little dark for my taste. I prefer a more light and airy decor.

Great location! Beautiful facility, loved the rooftop bar, and the restaurant available for breakfast. Enjoyed to Old Fashions tribute to the end of prohibition in the evening.

Very small room was okay but no place to put clothes, hang things, etc Coffee station was fickle.

What stands out instantly is the location. When visiting Louisville as part of a Bourbon Trail weekend you'll have off times in which you can walk and explore. Turn right out of this hotel and you're there. Eight minutes to Angels Envy; 14 minutes to Michters; 1min to Old Forrester; 5 minutes to the Louisville Loop and the mighty Ohio River. The other very noteworthy comment is that this city has a great energy to it; a wonderful 'vibe!' People smile; investors have saved the old buildings and the results are magnificent with architectural detail you'll never find in post 1950's construction. Add to that the people that smile and nod when you stroll by.

This is one I'll struggle with but we realized after the weekend that we could have easily gotten by without a rental. The airport is 12minutes away; all the tours include your transport vans; restaurants are near enough you can just Uber when needed. Maybe the answer is I didn't like not realizing I didn't need a car until it was too late? No real dissapointments anywhere in this trip!

We had breakfast @ Zombi Tacos each morning which was a bonus of having a sister resort within comfortable and climate controlled walking. Repeal was fantastic as was the entire staff of hotel(s) and bar/restaurant.

We really enjoy having a frig/mini bar/microwave in our room which is why I am only giving 8 out of 10. Also it is nice to have vending available without having to go to lobby for anything.

The restaurant Repel was amazing for all the meals ! Located right there on there property along with a tasting bourbon room . Easy to walk everywhere .

Maybe a bigger room with a view .

The location is perfect. Just one block from the KFC Yum Center. Rooms are modern and beds comfortable. The restaurant and bar downstairs were outstanding. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who were more than willing to tell us about the different Bourbons available and the history of some of the distilleries.

Our room was small and we had no real view. I am sure for an upgrade this hotel has rooms with fabulous views.

Everyone was very nice. They let us eat dinner at a bar table with our dog since he was sitting on the lobby side of the table. This was really nice since we had been traveling all day in the car. Good food and great service in the restaurant.

We absolutely love this hotel! It was located in the center of downtown and the staff was so willing to help and so friendly and courteous. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again soon...Thank you so much Hotel Distil for an awesome stay! I think from now on , we'll stay at a 4 star hotel.

The only thing we didn't like were the pillows but all the hotels we frequent pillows are always flat and not from enough....they are just too too soft
