Everything was fine the hotel is very close to a lot of restaurants and things to do which makes it nice. The hotel was clean and the hotel staff was nice. The restaurant the swizzler which was in the hotel the food was excellent!!! We loved it!

I think the hotel was a little over priced and the parking was high ! It seems all hotels now a days add little extra cost to their rooms making your stay for a room about 235.00 to 250.00 a night for one night!

Location was nice but we had a hard time figuring out where exactly the main entrance was. We didn't know where to temporarily park to check in.

Glass bathroom door lite up the whole room when used after we went to bed. A solid door would help

I recently stayed at Galt House and I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued. The location was great and right by the river, which we were able to see out of our hotel window! There were quite a few places to eat and bars available inside the rather large hotel that was easy to find. To get to your floor via the elevators, you needed to scan your room key to choose your floor, which we appreciated to help keep none paying customers off the hotel floors where the rooms were! The staff was all friendly and very helpful with questions! There are 2 parking garages, one with a 6 foot clearance, the same side as the east tower, and 8ft clearance on the west side tower. There is a really nice workout on the top floor of the east tower that lets you overlook the water and downtown while you're working out, which we didn't use but did go check out! The 2 towers are connected, which is great if you are staying here, so you don't have to be outside in the elements! You can also book time at the spa located in this hotel but we didn't choose this due to only staying one night but would definitely like to do if we visit again!

I felt the bed was way to soft so I was not able to rest well and we had to pay $30 for parking on top of what the cost of hotel cost that I was not aware of prior to booking this hotel. We stayed at this hotel due to a conference we was attending here.

Hotel was beautiful! We were even upgraded because we were celebrating our anniversary. The person who checked us in was super kind. If you don't feel like leaving the hotel, you do not have to. There is a plethora of food and drinks available.

We had an issue with our card being charged extra. I called and spoke to Kevin, who seemed very annoyed that we were given a free upgrade and like it was very inconvenient for him to fix the charges. Days later, it was finally fixed. Parking is a little pricey, but everywhere in downtown Louisville is pricey.

I must give a compliment to the young woman at the desk who is Adit. She was so friendly and outgoing and shared some of her life story, and I was so impressed. I told her I wanted to see these old beautiful homes I had read about and she gave me an address of someone she knew - for a start. I hope she becomes successful. Give her my regards.

I really did not care for the "coffee shop." It is a huge area and my partner found the walking difficult. It was also very cold in there. It was just too big.

The property was beautiful and a perfect location. We loved the room and how spacious it was.

We went to Jockey Exchange for a quick drink and bite to eat before the concert Saturday. The staff there was terrible and rude. We had to ask 3 different staff members for a drink and basically had to beg for a refill on a soda. They slammed the cups on the table as if we were bothering them. Our food came out and mine was wrong. They sent it back to the chef but my husband was finished eating his food before mine came back out. Not the type of experience you would expect at this type of property.

This is a beautiful hotel with great amenities!

To the front desk staff, do not speak informally about patrons in Spanish. Especially not in front of them. This was not about me but as I was checking out, one staff member was saying “she’ll just have to wait, it’s not my problem” about a guest, right in front of the guest. Having an attitude then discussing in front of a guest in Spanish is rude. Don’t assume that the guest cannot understand you. Very unprofessional.

The facility was huge with a lot of on site amenities, drink options, a cafe, many restaurants, and spa services. Everything was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I would likely stay here again.

The 50 dollar incidental fee appears to be tacked onto my booking even though I was under the impression this would be refunded. I did not even stay long enough to cause any damage since we had a late check in for just 1 night. I wasn't aware this was going to be an additional fee. Parking was also $22 in the connected garage.

The room was larger than expected, very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip. We loved going to the bar at the Conservatory and to the Down One Bourbon Bar. The service was fantastic at these locations!

We were disappointed at Jockey Silks where we waited 15-20 minutes for someone to help us and no one ever came. We tried to order at the bar, but were told we needed a server. We finally left without ever being served.
