the staff was courteous, and the room was clean and comfortable. It's close to the Streetcar and busses.

I did notice an issue that affected my comfort during the stay. After breakfast hours, there was a persistent raw food smell lingering in the breakfast area and nearby spaces. It made the atmosphere feel less pleasant and took away from the otherwise upscale environment the hotel aims to provide. I hope the management can look into improving ventilation or addressing this odor, as it would make a big difference in the guest experience.

A excellent set up. We had a one bedroom suite with kitchenette which was very spacious and had excellent views (16th floor). The property is clean, well run and quiet. Comfortable beds and in a central location in the CBD. Good having a laundry facility on site. Good choice of breakfast - perhaps a bit more fresh fruit would be nice but otherwise excellent. My only tiny point was it would be helpful to have a safe in the room. Not sure why for a property of this quality they do not have that. But highly recommend as a great base to stay in NO, only a short cab ride into the French Quarter but nice to be away from the noise.

Good location, friendly staff. Great breakfast. Rooms were comfortable, clean with nice linens, towels and bedding.

Resort and parking fees add approximately 125.00 per night in addition to rate making it not a value for quality of hotel. Too many locked doors, I understand exterior doors should be secure but we at least 75% of the time only had access to one door that opened, street level door. You take elevator to 11th floor (where the registration is located) change elevator to get to our floor, too inconvenient. The side door where security seemed to be visible was much more convenient but rarely would open with door key. Room was not as described as booked.

The hotel is in a fantastic location near the French Quarter, making it easy to explore the city's vibrant culture and attractions. While the public transport in front of the hotel wasn’t fully operational during our stay, the convenience of being within short distance of some key spots made up for it. A big plus was the included breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The front desk staff was exceptional—they even upgraded us to a spacious suite with an amazing view of the Smoothie King Center and the Caesars Superdome. Having my conference in the sister hotel, which was internally connected, was incredibly convenient—I never had to step outside to attend my meetings. Restaurants inside the Hyatt Regency were also a great option to grab a quick bite. However, housekeeping could have been more attentive. There were times when our trash wasn’t emptied, and despite multiple requests, the lotion wasn’t replenished. It would have been nice to have complimentary bottled water in the room, especially since we had a small kitchenette equipped with utensils, pans, a microwave oven, a fridge, and a coffee maker. Overall, the friendly staff and prime location made our stay enjoyable, but improved housekeeping services would elevate the experience even further.

The food and the room were great. The omelette staff were very cheerful and patient. The view of the city while having breakfast was amazing.

The front door downstairs was quite confusing since you had to buzz the intercom or use a room ley to get into the building. Upon entering the empty space (unless there are luggage carts on the side), one could not tell if the hotel exist! You had to take an elevator to the 11th floor to get to the reception desk. Throughout the stay, I shared elevator rides with other guests complaining about the process of entering into the hotel. Upon my departure at 5:15 a.m., we either woke up the female night clerk or she wad having a bad night. She mumbled a "good morning" as she came from back office. When we left the desk she did not say "thank you for staying with us" or even "have a safe journey home"....no parting words.

Superb downtown location in the heart of the City Business District and in walking distance to both French Quarter and river front. Spacious room on the 16th floor room with a nice view, spacious sitting area and an equiped kitchen corner.

The hotel lobby is located at the 11th floor and there is a second elevator shaft that leads to the rooms on the upper floors. Nothing really to complain about, it's just a bit strange to use two different elevators for reaching the ground level.

Loved the very spacious and well equipped room. Much appreciated that initially no daily room cleaning would come unless asked for. This gave me a greater sense of privacy in a hotel environment and being in a climate-aware establishment( certainly also reducing costs for Hyatt House). Therefore felt like being ‘at home’, where I make my bed myself and keep rooms tidy on a daily basis. Reception personnel helped me out with every question/suggestion/ problem with a very positive attitude. Breakfast buffet is good!

Far fetching: common floor areas aren’t cleaned/ inspected on cleanliness on a daily basis (that same hairpin was on the floor in the hallway to my room for 5 days..)

This hotel has a street car stop right at the corner for easy travel to the quarter. Card coded to get in and out. Checking is on floor 11 which was a first. Staff was nice, has a rooftop level 5 pool and our room overlooked the pool and superdome. Great safe location and OMG the breakfast made the stay. It was the omelet bar for me! The area was quiet and so many places to eat located around the blocks by the hotel. Very walkable.

Adjacent to the Hyatt Regency, this hotel definitely bet my expectations as the sister hotel. Breakfast was wonderful - great selection of fresh fruit and hot breakfast. Beds were very comfortable. Location was really good - walking distance from a lot of great jazz bars.

Gyms on two different floors definitely could have been maximised - would have liked some more resistance equipment.

Access to the Regency and ground level was nice.

The breakfast was ok. Only 2/4 elevators run, so there can be a long wait during peak times when rooms start on the 12th floor. Parking is an outrageous $35 a day. They also charge an additional fee for incidentals that they don’t warn you about before arrival at the property. Discounted parking for confirmed guests would be appropriate. Pool was closed. No prior warning. We’d have stayed elsewhere.
