Everything was nice once we got in our room

We had to wait over an hour to get checked in. Our room was not ready at 3PM we got into the room at 4:30 and we were meeting friends for dinner at 5PM Not a good start

the parking was great, the view was amazing, everything was comfortable

we made a unique friend ans his name was friedrich...aka a fully grown cockroach. he was chill.

The location is very convenient for beach access as well as walking distance from bars/restaurants/stores and the bus stops as well. The room had AC that we were able to control in our room which was so good we had a nice chilly room for after a hot day in the sun. Everything was clean and well kept. I think the location sells this place and I would stay here again.

There is a lot of steps, this isn’t a downside for me but just a warning to those who may have difficulty with stairs.

It's an older hotel so it does not have a modern aesthetic. It is nicely decorated, staff is friendly and helpful. Bathroom is a bit cramped and shower is small. It was quiet--no road noise. Not a lot of amenities--no in room coffee or microwave. I don't think there was vending or ice machine either. Couldn't find them if there were. Pool is small and cramped and you have to exit the front to the street to get to it. Location is great for boardwalk, was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go.

Small shower, next to no amenities, not a lot of parking and layout makes it a little tricky to get out.

the location is super convenient & just a skip away to the boardwalk! not too far from cvs (which we use almost daily with kids) & right nearby a convenience store also. In June 2025, we rented a 2 bedroom apartment/efficiency for 3 adults & 4 kids, it was absolutely perfect. we had 2 bedrooms PLUS a sofa bed PLUS a pull out bed in a huge hide away cabinet. we cooked breakfast a few mornings & dinner one night in the kitchen & did dishes & baby bottles and everything worked well & splendid! don’t forget the private pool - awesome for kids esp when some don’t like to swim in the ocean. gave us a late checkout (1:00pm) for free which was super helpful & appreciated. In July 2025, my hubby & i came back & rented a 1 bed studio for just us (no kids this time) & an amazing experience again. checkout is originally 11:00am, we wanted a few hours to do some things before heading home & they let us purchase a late checkout til 8:00pm for only $50!! (thank god bc $200 for a few hours is crazy) so amazing experiences for me all the way each time. 10/10 recommend. we come to ocean city every year & so far we’ve stayed somewhere different each time, we will definitely be back to the admiral! :)

the only inconvenience/con is parking, if it’s busy it will be hard to find a spot close to your room. (if ever available, i suggest parking spots get assigned per room)

Close to the boardwalk, clean, nice staff, they have a pool. Balcony to sit on. They had a mini fridge and microwave in the room. I stayed on the second floor behind the pool. It is a little dated. I would include more pictures, but it only let me add 4. There is also a little table and, of course, a tv.

Due to humidity, everything always felt a little damp- carpet, etc. My daughter brought books to read, and they kinda warped. If you are staying by the pool, parking is definitely cramped. No coffee maker in the room, I had to run out in the morning if I wanted coffee.

The staff at The Admiral were so nice and helpful with everything. My friend and I were in Ocean City for 6 days, but The Admiral was just for 2 nights, and they didn't mind that we had a million bags and suitcases lol! The room was VERY clean and I loved how we had our own AC unit in the room to control the temperature. This hotel is also in a great location with the beach and boardwalk, but not right up on the loud boardwalk, which is amazing. Also, it has its own (small) free parking lot!

The room was a little tight, but it was all we needed so it worked out great for us personally!

The location is perfect! One block to the beach and very easy to cross the street with the cross walk signal. Has the public restroom on the boardwalk next to the beach access which was perfect when we stayed on the beach all day. We walked everywhere during our stay and didn’t have to move the car all weekend since the boardwalk access made it easy to get everywhere!

The only thing we had trouble with was how small the shower was. We made do for the time we were there but would definitely request a bigger one for next time.

Room was very nice recently updated spacious. Only problem our room was windows were by the porch for smokers people up all night laughing talking loudly hollering at passing people. waking us, one set of people from midnight til 2:30 am the next we’re 3:00am till 5:30am. I get up for work at 3 am everyday was hoping to sleep in until 5 am for vacation. Need quiet hours. No ice machine, iron in room or coffee pot these would be a nice addition. Staff was very helpful and friendly would stay again at next visit.

I loved that it was so close to the beach! I loved the cleanliness of the hotel both outside and in our room! There was always clean towels and rags dropped off along with extra toilet paper. The fact that the room smelled so fresh and clean when entering was a plus also!

This isn’t a major dislike, but I would have loved to have an iron in the room or be able to get one from the front desk.
