The convenience to the boardwalk and shopping.

I didn't get the room I requested with a partial ocean view. Instead I got a room with a view to an alley way and garbage dumpsters. Not much of a nice view. There wasn't a closet to hang your clothes. The bathroom was small and only one person at a time could get in it. It would have been perfect for one person, but a not group of friends.

Location on the Boardwalk is great! It's basically a place to shower and sleep! Air conditioning worked well! No kitchen! Just a dorm size fridge and a microwave! A table, a desk, 3 chairs, a 6 drawer dresser, Samsung smart tv, and 2 queen beds, plus a full size bathtub/shower! Housekeeping services with clean bath towels and washclothes everyday if wanted! For the price, very reasonable! Would stay again!

I'm sure other guests along with myself, had to complain to the front desk about a guest directly above me blasting his music all night long. When I say "blasting all night long" I mean "all night long". After 2 nights, they were gone! Don't know if they were kicked out or just left.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Americana. We were in Ocean City for Sunfest, and the other places that we’ve stayed in were booked or had poor room choices left. I felt that we were taking a chance, but everything about the hotel was great. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room category we chose was awesome. Parking was never an issue, and the price was reasonable. Our first evening the hot water was a little unpredictable, but not an issue after that. We’re definitely going to add the Americana to our list of favored hotels in OCMD!

A facelift is probably due, especially for the some of the hallways/walkways. But the room was clean, staff was accommodating, and the under-hotel parking was plentiful.

There are no peep holes in the door. My parents, who are in their mid 80's, had someone knocking on their door at 1am. They had no way of knowing who was on the other side and it was quite frightening for them. It was apparently a food delivery to the wrong address. That's a very large safety concern, as anyone can access the room entry just by walking up the stairs. Parking was very tight if you have a large car. We came back one evening and there were no spaces available despite the sign saying there were vacancies.

Great location. beautiful view of the ocean . we stayed in the room with a side view. room was clean and when you needed clean towels you either asked staff or when you got room cleaned.

Parking was tight but they do have free parking available during your stay. They even have a parking area across the street. Wish people wouldn't smoke on the balcony as we were on the 4th floor and the people beside us was smoking pot on their balcony and we could smell it we did tell staff, and they did try and do something about it. Elevator was slow but thankfully it worked.

The property was very clean, loved having a balcony and spacious room. The fridge was perfect size along with a freezer compartment. Having a microwave and cups was a huge plus along with an ice machine. The hotel having an elevator made our stay possible as my mom is disabled and has a very hard time doing steps. The shower/bathtub was nice and clean and we had hot water every shower.

The toilet paper was paper thin, so thicker toilet paper would be better so we didn’t have to use as much toilet paper. Since my Mom is disabled, the toilet sat pretty low and was somewhat difficult getting up and down from.

Prices have became a little ridiculous…. Just a year or so ago we could get ocean front cheaper than we paid for ocean side view this year…. Ocean front was way too expensive it more than doubled!!! That is very disappointing we used to love ocean front here and it used to be affordable now it has become as expensive or more expensive than the nice fancy hotels making it very unaffordable for people to be able to bring their families to a place they used to love :( we now can’t even enjoy the ocean fronts which is what made this hotel our favorite at ocean city year after year:(

Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms.

Parking under the building is very tight, extremely difficult to maneuver an SUV through. Had to park on the street most nights. The rate is $3.00 an hour with 12 hour maximum limit to park on the street.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location is outstanding! We stayed in the ocean sideview room on the 4th floor and the room was very clean and tidy. Overall very satisfied with the room and our stay in general.

The rooms could use a bit of TLC, some wallpaper peeking, drop ceilings in the bathroom had some minor staining. Every rental should eventually get rid of carpeting and get vinyl plank in my opinion, but our carpet was very clean and appeared newer.

Bike week 2023. Location was fantastic. Close to the inlet. But far enough away from the noise. Parking garage on-site. Some spaces offer more space than others but we saw both SUV’s and pickup trucks park with no issue. We had seen a lot of reviews complaining about parking. Didn’t see an issue. Restaurant at the front that was open for breakfast as well. Area was quiet in the evening as bars started a few streets down the boardwalk. Room was spacious and we had a great side view of the ocean. (Room 105) Rooms offer black out curtains which I appreciated. The hotel has security cameras in hallways and parking garage. Note that you cannot smoke in hallways, rooms or even on balconies. I hadn’t seen that before our stay. Apparently that’s common for the area

Tub/shower didn’t drain well at all. Housekeeping only came in once on the 2nd day we were there. Not a big deal as there were just two of us staying and I’m sure if I had needed something I could have gotten it from the front desk.
