The location was great! The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a young black employee that was more than willing to help us carry my husband’s oxygen tanks up and down the steps.

There is no elevator. My husband has COPD and damaged lungs from a house fire. This is an older hotel in OC and the steps were numerous and steep. Apparently, there were no ground floor rooms available. Next time I will specify we need a room on the ground floor.

This was the 1st time that I had stayed at this Hotel. The location is great as you are a block from the beach and boardwalk, there is a great bike rental place(they give you a feeze pop after your ride) very close by on 2nd street, you can walk(so you don't have to drink and drive) to the Purple Moose Saloon or Shenangans, there are many places to eat on the boadwalk just up from the part of the beach that you will be using ( Bull on the Beach, Thrashers Fries, an ice cream place etc) and there is a wooden plank on the beach making your walk on the sand with all of your beach accessories a bit earier/shorter. The room was nice and clean. The price was great. it was a great value.

The sign says that there is a heated pool, but it is not heated. There is no elevator and no luggage carriers so if you have a hard time walking up steps with luggage it could be an issue. It is in town which is great for convenience but bad for congestion.

Stay here every year. Great place

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect. Just steps to the boardwalk and a bus stop across the street to take you wherever you needed to go in OC. Staff in the office and breakfast room were so kind. The rooms were small but worked fine for us. The AC worked very well, which was nice considering how hot and sticky it was outside. The property was clean inside and out. The free breakfast was great. On the ride back to NY, we were already discussing a trip back next summer.

I honestly can't think of any negatives!

The staff was awesome from the front desk to the housekeeper. I have been going to Ocean City for 50+ years, and I have never had such a wonderful experience as I had this time staying at The Beach Bum Inn. My daughter got married that weekend, and we drove 12 hours straight, and from the time I walked through the office door till the time we checked out was awesome. The room was spotless clean and a very comfortable bed. I have knee problems and told the clerk, and right away, he was making sure I got a bottom room. I love this place and love the staff. I will be back, and BTW, breakfast was awesome too. Thank you for making my weekend one I will never forget!!! See you all soon!!!

LOVED EVERYTHING!!!

This property was very easily accessible and a great location and it’s only a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. The room was very clean, bed super comfortable, staff was incredibly friendly and came by to change towels and things often.

There isn’t much counter space in the bathroom but there is a shelf type thing with a mirror over it in the queen bedroom. The parking is VERY tight, but we walked mostly everywhere so it honestly wasn’t really an issue.

The price and location were great. It was about a block from the Boardwalk and within easy distance of plenty of restaurants and things to do. Staff was helpful and it was nice to get breakfast. The room was clean and all appliances worked well.

The indoor pool was NOT heated. It was just too cold to use. There was also no changing facility in the pool room, which would be fine in summer, but having to change in your room and then hoof it around outside down 2 flights of stairs and across the parking lot in a bathing suit in December wasn't too fun.

This is a delightful little Inn located perfectly, just off of the beach but close to the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. It's conveniently located to many restaurants and shops and easy to drive to other places from here. Fantastic stay. Room was super cold (bonus) and we loved our Ocean Peak Glimpse room!

The only thing that I can even remotely think of as negative for this place is: coffee in the morning was empty... perhaps get a larger carafe for brewing AND additional parking spots are not available BUT there is plenty of free street parking!

Breakfast was good. Choice of breakfast sandwich, yogurt, cereal, think I saw apples, coffee, juice, just the basics to get you goin. The room was small as expected, clean and cold, had a small fridge and microwave. It was cool.

Sink was kinda clogged, not a big deal.

It was nice, I was grateful for the hospitality. I booked the wrong dates and had not seen it until it was time to leave for the trip and I was able to call and this nice guy helped me fix my dates and it was at no charge. I was super excited and thankful. The place was clean and breakfast was not much but it was ok to have. Quiet and accommodating. I did not care for the beds so much bc they were a bit rocky and not sturdy enough, but it was ok.
