Anna at front desk was amazing. I did have something strange happen - the maid service doesn't happen. I reported a few things like no shampoo or shower gel in dispensers, mildewed shower curtain. I needed towels. I asked for just towels to be placed in my door. When we got back to our room someone had been there - urinated on our toilet seat, took all of our clean towels and didn't clean anything or replace what needed to be done. They set up all the tubes of lotion and conditioner on the dirty sink area. This was bizarre. I do want to say how amazing Anna was even before we checked in and during check in. She's a gem!

Room was very clean and at the end of the hallway. King size bed but the room was not square or rectangular - it had this angle in it which made the room smaller. We only kept the room because if it being at the end of the hallway. Close to the boardwalk and beach. Hotel staff were friendly.

Pool, pool bar and hot tub - pool was murky and sandy, like the filter wasn't running and needed to be maintained. Pool bar only open on weekends. I can see limiting hours AFTER the last celebrated weekend of summer but not during summer! This was not disclosed on the website. Parking - very tight/narrow spaces. It doesn't help when customers can't park parallel with the lines. It is a good thing we had a car and not our truck. Not everyone owns a Prius or Civic. Again, parking situation not disclosed on website. Hotel has 1 elevator. Patience is a virtue.

The front staff desk's amazing customer service really made us feel super comfortable during our stay . It's a great location , right by the beach and food/activities .

unfortunately the cleaning was not up to standards . I've already sent a review after our stay the same day we departed with the hotel with evidence/pictures of parts of our booked room showing signs they did not clean everything and it made us double check the bedding which luckily was clean but still that super disappointing because I paid a good portion to have a clean room so I was really hoping to get some particle refund .

Very small parking lot across the street, difficult to park and back out (husband had to get out and look)

The location was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. A special word of appreciation for Anna, who seemed to be at the lobby, morning, afternoon and evening for the entire duration of our stay, yet she was always so kind and professional.

Everything was fine. But the rooftop bar was not always opening during the stated hours of operation or opened over an hour later than the stated time. The bar could also use some improvements and offer some easy meals so that when guests spend the afternoon at the pool, they don't have to get, up, dress up and go outside to buy food. Simple, easy-to-make meals would improve the offering.

The area was nice & the kids loved the pool

The morning lady had an attitude & was rude for no reason but the rest the staff was nice I didn’t like the fact they took 25 out of my deposit because check out was at 11 but we had to wait for other people to get done using the carts to carry our stuff out and she charged me $25 because we had to wait for other people to get done the cart so we can move our stuff down to the vehicle so we wasn’t able to get out until 11:30am I mean we was packed & ready but had wait for carts cause handycap & plus had a 3 month old baby & I’m single parent so getting all kids ready & baby & my self I wasn’t able to carry down the stuff so had to wait for a cart & she charged me 25 dollars & my AC in the room didn’t work so was very hot but other then that was great stay…

Location was amazing. Snuggled right in the heart of all the action. Balcony gave us a beautiful view of all the jeeps rolling down Baltimore Ave. (We were here for jeep week). Miss Anna the manager made our check in so smooth and always greeted us with a smile. You won't find a better front desk crew! The roof top pool offers such a beautiful scene.

I mean I don't want to even offer a complaint because it wouldn't be anything that made me feel like I should have booked anywhere else but maybe the pesky elevator lol. It was a little slow.

We love that this hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool. We love that the outdoor pool is on the roof and also has a hot tub. We love that it is close to the south end of the boardwalk. It is a short walk to everything. You have the luxury of being close to the beach and all the boardwalk festivities without being smack dab on the boardwalk.

If I absolutely had to pick something to complain about it would be the long wait for the one elevator and the mattress to the pull out couch that is like sleeping on springs.

Location was great. I have stayed at the Monte Carlo several times in the past. This is the 1st time in 15 years that I have been back. I can tell that it has aged, that being said the stay was great and location is wonderful, since I had my grandchildren with me and the trip was for them

No toilet tissue in my room when we arrived (I bring my own) but it still should have been in the room. Also no towels were available

Location is amazing! Price to compare to other hotels around is fair! We paid 1800 for 6 nights. Friendly staff! We came at 12 pm. Check in at 4 pm. We paid 20 for early check in. Not a big deal. You can check out late. We paid 50$. Reasonable if you have a flight at 9 from Philadelphia and don’t want to loose a day. All restaurants walking distance. Board walk - 1 min of walking. Beach - 2 min of walking. They have bus: 4$ for 24 hours ride. Room is big (we booked king size bad with jacuzzi). Perfect for 2. Everything is clean! Jacuzzi as bonus - clean! Good water pressure. Could be a better view from the window. Ask for city view. If they have available- they will give you. When we came (12 pm) it was only one room available for early check in. They don’t clean room during your entire stay and don’t change towels but for us It’s not a big deal. You can get new towels in the lobby. Yes, they do have envelope for tips for housekeeping. We didn’t mind to leave some tips for cleaning because the room we moved in was clean, new bedsheets and clean jacuzzi.

Parking is super small. Someone scratched my rented Tesla. Obviously didn’t say anything and run away. If you have a truck or full size SUV be ready for 2 options: - reserved parking (need to pay extra) - additional bigger parking (free). But you need to walk (couple blocks).
