Hotel offered a variety of options for guests' enjoyment, indoor/outdoor pool, game room, exercise room, bar/restaurant, Bayview rooms, and outdoor seating with Bayview.

It's a bit expensive. My room was a side view of the bay, which was okay, but the view was a little spoiled by the trash compactor just below the balcony. I was given two complementary drink coupons during check-in, but I could only use them for a very limited selection of beer and wine or a soft drink, no cocktails. I'm not really a beer or wine drinker. Also, there were a couple of strands of hair in the bathroom.

The front desk staff were amazing and super accommodating. The lady Kashmere, who worked that Saturday evening, couldn't have been more accommodating! Our view couldn't have been any better! The place was super clean, with no smells! Also the pool area was nice and clean, the indoor pool and hot tub were both enjoyable in the cold weather. Place is located right where you want to be when visiting OC.My family of 5 from 2yrs to 18yrs old had an amazing stay. Thank you guys!

The location, balcony view, on site restaurant, and smart room features were exceptional.

There were problems regulating the hot water and room temperature. The new rules about having fish and/or seafood in the hotel guest rooms, especially in a resort that specializes in seafood and a hotel restaurant that serves seafood, were disappointing and difficult to uphold. What are you to do with any leftovers?

The hotel was very clean. We always had fresh towels and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The bathroom was not soundproof. It was clean but you could hear everything with the sliding glass doors. They were pretty but I recommend connecting your phone while you're in there.The hotel could use another set of elevators. The Spain restaurant gets very busy in the evenings and the same elevators to the 8th floor are used by guests also. It would be nice to have a shuttle to the boardwalk. It is a little bit of a hike for those with younger kids.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and will continue to do so! The location is fantastic...you can walk to the boardwalk and shopping and restaurants are close, too! We love that it has an indoor/ outdoor pools and hot tub! The food is good at the View Restaurant.

What we didn't like this time around is how lax the cleaning staff was the day of our arrival. Our room should have been ready by 4pm and we didn't get in until after 6pm. They clearly did not communicate with the front desk. This happened to other families staying in the hotel. It was unfortunate that some people berated the front desk staff when it was evident that it wasn't their fault.

Very close to end of boardwalk area, locale bars/restaurants very close. Roof top restaurant if you can get in do it, great not having to go anywhere after a meal up there!

Lighting, rooms are very dark, could use a much larger refrigerator, lots of wasted space in king room. paid for upper floor room was put on the 1st floor which was the second floor! Breakfast little slow (good food). Two of the six ice makers worked this weekend, but it was the start of the summer, soooooo

The view and the rooms were amazing. The bathrooms in the room were very clean. Staff was nice! The pool was outstanding with the hot tub.

The food at the view was horrible and was extremely expensive for what we got.

We've been to the Spain Wine Bar several times (which is a must try if you are in the area) but, this was our first time staying at the Cambria. Overall the hotel was a very nice and comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in- we liked the set up and layout. The bed was super comfortable. The hotel restaurant in the lobby was nice. They give you two complimentary drink tickets, which we thought was cool. We ate breakfast and it was very good, with a complimentary 10% discount.

We only stayed for one night and these items weren't a big deal but, the soap plate in the bathroom was broken and was propped up in the corner at an angle. I tried to get it stationary and place my soap on but it fell. There was another ledge to place toiletries on. The single cup keurig didn't work. It wouldn't close all the way so I had to hold it down to brew but when the water drained, it didn't go into the cup. Not sure where it went! The heat also took some time (a couple of hours) to kick on. We let the staff know!
