We had a room on the 5th floor that looked towards the ocean. It was very clean. I always check for bed bugs in every hotel I stay in and there were NO signs. The bathroom was spacious and lots of counter space. The AC was awesome. We were able to put it at a temperature that we liked. The location was great. All food stand were super close. A block back from the boardwalk but it kept us out of the crowds. I saw some reviews say about crossing with traffic which can be tricky, but make sure to use the crosswalks as the cars coming should be yielding to you. They legit have a sign overheard stating that. The lobby was clean, elevator worked good, and everything seemed well kept. I would definitely stay here again. Ice machines are on 1st, 3rd, and 4th floor. I know another review said about the bright lights outside the balcony but honestly that didn’t bother me.

The only BIG thing I noticed was that the parking lot spaces are small. You have to be really careful when pulling in the spots and backing out. If you have like a truck or bigger car, you will probably have to back out a little, pull forward, back out again, and pull forward before getting all the way out. We parked our car and just kept it there. I did notice the carpet was ripping up near the door to come in. Everything else was great!!!

Staff was awesome! Friendly and helpful. Location was great. Just where we needed to be. The lobby was nice. Great little places to hang out and relax. Loves the little balcony with table and chair.

The room needs some attention. The chair needs to be replaced. The mattress was not ld and a bit too firm. The bathroom was missing a tile and needed a place to hang towels. There was nowhere to place any of them besides where the dry clean ones where.

The room was clean and comfortable. They had coffee or tea available all the time which I appreciated. It was a short walk to the boardwalk. The balcony on the 5th floor (top floor) is a bit smaller than floors 1 thru 4 and there is no cover if it would rain however you have a great view from up there.

The parking situation is really bad! It’s a nightmare to park or leave the lot especially if the lot is near full. It is really tight and once you finally get parked you hate to leave to go anywhere cause you’ll do battle to get into another space when you get back. You’ll be alright if you’re not planning to move your vehicle. Maybe it’s not as bad in the off season when the hotel isn’t full. Wish they would offer a breakfast of some kind.

The location is truly what sets this hotel apart from one’s we’ve stayed at before. My husband, myself, and our 6 year old could walk to the beach and boardwalk anytime we wanted without hassle. The hotel is also at the most ideal spot regarding the boardwalk as it’s super close to all the best kid options, arcades/shops/amusement parks. The hotel also offered numerous games in the lobby that our son loved. We had a beach view from our balcony that was wonderful as well. The room itself was clean and very comfortable. Our son loved the pool, it’s perfect for small children and he was excited he could swim without using his floaties. The staff were friendly and accommodating with anything we requested.

Location…Loved that it was only a block to the beach; also Gateway discount on umbrella rental.

Three things..condition of the chair was a disgrace in room 313…apparently room had been updated but not the chair .. totally worn out on the arms s/b replaced; ice bucket top wouldn’t fit ice bucket properly; not enough drawer space..only 3 drawers total. Also it’s difficult to cross street by hotel because traffic is constant..usually walked up to next block where there’s a traffic light.

Clean, comfortable bed, good water pressure and very close to the boardwalk and amusement area.

Tight parking spots and unaccommodating staff- Booking.com has our King Standard Room listed with a microwave but our room didn’t have one (it is a must for us when we travel). We were told that only the Suites have them. They told us that they’ll get one placed in our room but they never did and didn’t even bother calling us back for a follow up. My husband opted not to push for it. However, Booking.com should fix this misleading mistake on your site. Dangerous crosswalk- be very careful when crossing the street heading to and from the boardwalk. Very few cars give in to pedestrians. There’s no traffic light where the crosswalk is so there’s no safety there. You have to gauge the traffic flow on Baltimore and it is a busy street.

Location was great, room was spacious enough. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Coffee in the room was Starbucks. Nice surprise considering most hotels have that generic nasty coffee. Room was clean, but had some wear and tear which is to be expected in a busy beachfront hotel.

Water pressure in the shower was not good, very difficult to get the sand off. I didn't even bother trying to wash my hair.

We liked everything! The room was nice and clean. The location was great we walked everywhere and didn't have to move the car at all. The staff was so nice and helpful. They had a small coffee pot that made one cup at a time and they supplied the coffee which was the same Starbucks I drink at home. I loved the big shower, the whole bathroom was nice and big. There was a huge closet for clothes and suitcases with an iron and ironing board. The bed was big and vert comfortable I sleep so good which is rare for me. We got in town 3 hrs. early and our room was ready so they let us check in that was a plus. also a very short walk to the boardwalk and beach.

Can't think of anything we didn't like.

The rooms were large and very clean and updated. The beds were very comfortable. A great location to the beach and main part of boardwalk. Check-in/checkout was very quick with a courteous and friendly staff.

The one thing that I would hope the hotel and city of Ocean City would address is the crosswalk leading from the hotel to the beach. Maryland law requires all vehicles stop for pedestrians in the crosswalk. Unfortunately, the drivers don't. It makes for a very dangerous situation. The only way to cross is to walk in the crosswalk. I seen some drivers intentionally accelerate their vehicle to keep people from crossing. There is a very large sign telling the drivers to yield which they ignore. I would suggest that the city put a flashing warning signal at this intersection and enforce the state law before someone gets hurt or killed.

The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and hospitable. It was in walking distance to the beach and it was conveniently located to getting to places. I really enjoyed my there and I would go again.
