Stayed in an ocean view King room. The room was a great size with a spectacular view. The bathroom appeared to be newly remodeled, it had a tub/shower with a little window that we could open and listen to the sounds of the ocean while showering! Can't beat the location on the boardwalk! Steps from the beach and so much to see and do on the boardwalk without having to walk far. The pool area was very nice. Even on the hottest days when it was packed, you never felt like people were right on top of you. I was glad to see they have a person who does go around and check people's wrist bands to ensure it is only guests of the hotel in the pool area. The staff were all very friendly Will definitely stay at Plim Plaza again in the future!

The pool and hot tub, and being on the boardwalk! The refrigerator was cold and larger than expected, and the microwave was clean. The room was clean. The parking situation wasn't as bad as others made it sound. We had plenty of time to unload our stuff and then move our car to the free lot for the hotel. We didn't mind the short walk.

Small beds, like others have mentioned in their reviews, and the room itself is on the smaller side. The TV was a decent size but the screen was fuzzy and our options there were limited. But we weren't mad about it because we didn't need the TV very much. The elevator is large and functional but the door closes very quickly, and other guests warned us about that. We did request towels and didn't get them.

The beds, the pillows - very comfortable! The outdoor bar with live entertainment and pool was exceptional. And this probably isn't mentioned much, but it was very nice to have soda and snack machines with reasonable pricing. Thank you for not gouging us!

The entire parking lot, or as much as required, should've been reserved for motorcycles during bike week. You have an overflow lot that could've been used for cars only. Bc you have a bar, many bikes were parked to go to the bar, and that's fine unless you have a paid reservation and can't find a parking spot. Maybe next year, you could have spots under the roof for people who have a room and outside, where there isn't a roof, for visitors. The coffee machine could be a lot better! A complimentary breakfast would boost your rating, too!

We were on 4th floor. Our cleaning lady Betty was amazing. She was sweet and kind. Staff was all nice but really enjoyed my chats with Betty. Liked that restraunt was there, porch with rockers and an elevator.

That if Handicapped parking was full right at hotel had to park 2 blocks away. But that only happened once. My husband has a prostetic and problem with other foot so it was a walk.

Loved the ocean view.The fact that the hotel was on the board walk.The pool and the pool bar, and music all day Loved to be able to set on porch and people watch on the board walk.

The rooms weren't that clean.Didnt seem as though they were being swept and had to wear socks after showing.Had to ask for towels the second day .we weren't left any.On the 3rd day they never came and cleaned the room had to ask for it to be cleaned. I loved the pool area but some of the waitresses waiting the pool were awful snotty and wouldn't wait on me, as I asked 2 in the same day for a menu and never came back just ignored us. So the rest of my stay I never asked again I saw the same one do it to another couple.They walk around the pool and wait on some but not others..I just couldn't understand it or why.

We always love the pool and pool bar, plus the entertainment there. Being at the boardwalk and beach. The staff is always nice and so are the bartenders & pool servers!

The rooms have needed some updating for a while. Space could be used better if the flat-screen TVs were mounted on wall. Room 346 was probably the smallest bathroom we've had, and being tall, we had to almost sit sidesays on toilet as it is about 6 inches from tub. We go for the location & great pool & poolbar, but please invest a bit back into the rooms, halls, etc. & the Plim Plaza sign that's rusted & looks over 60 years old; it's certainly not inviting.

Location was great. All the staff were very nice and everything was very clean. They have a very nice comfortable smoking section and the live music was great. The rockers on the front porch were very relaxing. Pool and hot tubs were great too

The room was tiny! There is no microwave in the room. There is one in the main lobby. Beds were pretty hard. The parking was the worst part. Very small parking lot at the hotel. I had to park two blocks away and my car got hit! There are no cameras or monitoring. I reported it to the hotel and they said they couldn't do anything about it and told me to make a police report. I was a little disappointed that they did not care. There wasn't enough damage to get too upset about but of course it could've been worse! I loved the atmosphere but very disappointed in how my situation was handled. Even after getting hit I still had to park far away

Okay so I will be real because I was on the fence on staying here due to some reviews I’ve read weren’t the greatest. I will say my children and I loved it here! The staff were amazing and over all the friendliest. The room wasn’t very big but it was comfortable and updated. The pool area and boardwalk deck with the rocking chairs were my kids favorite part. It was not the “party hotel” some make it out to be. I’ve read reviews about it being a party hotel and vomit being near the hot tub.. PLEASE do not go by those reviews. It didn’t seem to be a party hotel when we stayed and the pool & hot tub areas were very clean during the day and late at night. It does have a pool bar and there is music but it wasn’t obnoxious. I did have ocean front view so when I did go to bed at around 10:30/11 pm I could hear some people on the board walk for a little but it wasn’t bad. The water in the pool was not extremely cold either which is another enjoyable experience for us. My son left a few toys that meant a lot to him in our room when we checked out and didn’t realize it until we were over an hour away so I called to see if they were still there and the staffing was so understanding and they mailed his toys to him. That’s what you need in a hotel. They were so caring. I highly recommend staying here!!!!

Didn't like::: not having the things in the room that we needed. Always had to ask for things at the desk. The sign in the lobby said that if there isn't a tag on the door the room would be serviced. The family had to ask for towels washcloths hand towels toilet paper trash bags and cups. These are the things that should automatically be done daily.

This was our second year here for the oceans calling festival. The location is perfect and we cannot get enough of the front porch. The staff was always very helpful and nice. My room was much better this year as we picked a king ocean front. I do worry that some of the floors in that place are going to fall thru. Quite a few soft spots in my room last year and this year. But all in all, a great spot.

Soft spots in the floor and no fan in the bathroom. One shower and everything was covered in moisture.
