Stayed in an ocean view King room. The room was a great size with a spectacular view. The bathroom appeared to be newly remodeled, it had a tub/shower with a little window that we could open and listen to the sounds of the ocean while showering! Can't beat the location on the boardwalk! Steps from the beach and so much to see and do on the boardwalk without having to walk far. The pool area was very nice. Even on the hottest days when it was packed, you never felt like people were right on top of you. I was glad to see they have a person who does go around and check people's wrist bands to ensure it is only guests of the hotel in the pool area. The staff were all very friendly Will definitely stay at Plim Plaza again in the future!

We had a great experience! We came during the week of a hurricane, so the beaches were closed a few of the days and it was rainy. We were so happy to have the jacuzzis on those days, and it kept the weather from getting us down. The elevator was pretty quick. The porch out front was great, and so was the lobby. Also, each staff member that we interacted with was incredibly friendly.

The rooms definitely seemed to retain moisture. The wet items that we hung up on the first day were still wet on the fourth. The floors were warped, and the tub creaked each time we stepped in it. There was definite water damage under the bathroom door. Additionally, our window had someone's old PB&J Uncrustable wrapper in the pane.

Location is amazing. We love the live music twice a day. Lots of hot tubs is also nice as most places only have 1. Beds are comfortable. We were able to get a late checkout which was wonderful!

We never got a call or communication our room was ready even though we were there early before checkout for a parking pass. My guest would like to make a suggestion of adding hot chocolate packets to the coffee station for a late night sip at the pool since the wind is a bit frigid on the back bar patio. The parking is terrible. No reason for as many handicap spots as you have and the whole lot is so tight (i backed up into a tree and dented my car). The overflow parking is a long walk if you are storing your beach stuff in the car instead of lugging upstairs everyday.

The pool and hot tub, and being on the boardwalk! The refrigerator was cold and larger than expected, and the microwave was clean. The room was clean. The parking situation wasn't as bad as others made it sound. We had plenty of time to unload our stuff and then move our car to the free lot for the hotel. We didn't mind the short walk.

Small beds, like others have mentioned in their reviews, and the room itself is on the smaller side. The TV was a decent size but the screen was fuzzy and our options there were limited. But we weren't mad about it because we didn't need the TV very much. The elevator is large and functional but the door closes very quickly, and other guests warned us about that. We did request towels and didn't get them.

Our 4th year staying here, and always have a wonderful time at the pool and pool bar. One of the best in O.C. The rooms are comfortable, not big, but adequate, and tub is nice too. We come for the pool, restaurants and boardwalk. They let us check out a little later, which was helpful. Free parking is great too.

At 9:30am the front desk approved a noon checkout and said they'd inform housekeeping, yet at 10:34am, the housekeeper opened door without even knocking! Why?..even before normal checkout time & "do not disturb" sign on door?! Not cool. Other than that, they were quiet and didn't bother us prior. Also there was no remote for TV in our rm#407, tho' we didn't need it as we had no desire to watch TV while on vacation. We just wondered why there was none.

Convenience, location location , location! Everything you could need is located in or around this hotel. Awesome pool with the option of hot tubs. Onsite pool bar/ restaurant that has live music and or Dj everyday, awesome staff. Super attentive. Right outside the door is the broad-walk with the gorgeous ocean view. Steps away to all the attractions.

I’m not very picky but if I had to choose something I didn’t like , it would be the toilet bowl closeness to the bathtub. Random yes but it was an interesting setup.

The beds, the pillows - very comfortable! The outdoor bar with live entertainment and pool was exceptional. And this probably isn't mentioned much, but it was very nice to have soda and snack machines with reasonable pricing. Thank you for not gouging us!

The entire parking lot, or as much as required, should've been reserved for motorcycles during bike week. You have an overflow lot that could've been used for cars only. Bc you have a bar, many bikes were parked to go to the bar, and that's fine unless you have a paid reservation and can't find a parking spot. Maybe next year, you could have spots under the roof for people who have a room and outside, where there isn't a roof, for visitors. The coffee machine could be a lot better! A complimentary breakfast would boost your rating, too!

We were on 4th floor. Our cleaning lady Betty was amazing. She was sweet and kind. Staff was all nice but really enjoyed my chats with Betty. Liked that restraunt was there, porch with rockers and an elevator.

That if Handicapped parking was full right at hotel had to park 2 blocks away. But that only happened once. My husband has a prostetic and problem with other foot so it was a walk.

The pool bar and grill was the highlight of our stay! The staff was friendly and accommodating, even helped climb on top of the van to help unpack the luggage.

It definitely needs a good update. The elevator was working inconsistently and the door closes way too fast. The rooms are small but we already knew they were. The need to invest in more towels and washcloths as they were unable to replace them when cleaning the room.

Loved the ocean view.The fact that the hotel was on the board walk.The pool and the pool bar, and music all day Loved to be able to set on porch and people watch on the board walk.

The rooms weren't that clean.Didnt seem as though they were being swept and had to wear socks after showing.Had to ask for towels the second day .we weren't left any.On the 3rd day they never came and cleaned the room had to ask for it to be cleaned. I loved the pool area but some of the waitresses waiting the pool were awful snotty and wouldn't wait on me, as I asked 2 in the same day for a menu and never came back just ignored us. So the rest of my stay I never asked again I saw the same one do it to another couple.They walk around the pool and wait on some but not others..I just couldn't understand it or why.
