Comfortable bed. The lady who does the laundry/change over etc. was so friendly, helpful and a real asset to the place. The cafe/bakery a few steps away. The size of the room. We would definitely stay here again.

Two things: Firstly, the room we had you needed to keep the blinds down because it was street level, so it made the room a bit dingy; other rooms wouldn't be like this. The second thing, we found the owner slightly petty, for instance, there are two parking spaces, which weren't used while we were staying, but when we hired a car, he wanted 30$ to park there for a night! The other thing, there were lots of extras in the room, but everything you had to pay for, even the water in the fridge.

Room was cozy and nicely furnished with everything you may need. Washing machines and dryers are free for everyone to use, complete with full kitchen.

You have to climb many flights of stairs to get to your room, they do not have a lift within the building. Stayed here during winter and had trouble with getting hot water from the shower, had to wait over 20 minutes for the water to get warm. Water pressure from the shower was also very weak. The ventilation in the kitchen is very bad. During my the stay, someone cooked in the kitchen and the smell had travelled from the basement all the way up to the 3rd floor, and a short trip to the laundry room had made the clothes I was wearing smell of food.

Loooove the location, so conveniently situated, walking distance to most of the tourist places, the place is comfortable with all amenities needed for a great stay, very pleasant by all means. Very clean, convenient mini kitchen in the room with kettle, microwave and coffee machine. Washer, dryer and a big kitchen at the bottom floor .We could not ask for more. Also a great french bakery close by with amazing coffee and breakfast. Definitely recommend this place , we love our stay and will definitely be back . 100% satisfied !!

The dryer was broken so we could not do laundry. Luckily we brought enough clothes for a week.

It is located in a nice neighborhood. You can walk downtown. There are convenience stores nearby.

The place is very small, it was hard to shower without hitting the walls.

I liked everything about it, except one thing which I will address below. The room was clean and comfortable, all the amenities were there, my stay was very short so I didn’t have time to use the washer and dryer or the kitchen, but it was great to know they were there. Communication with the team was excellent, even though I think I probably drove them crazy at the beginning because I had never been asked to submit credit card and drivers license details online before staying at a hotel before, but it all went perfectly well.

Other people have mentioned this, but as it is a traditional brownstone, there is not an elevator. I travel with just a carry-on, but it is a fairly heavy one and between lugging it down two flights of stairs to store it before check-in and then lugging it up seven flights of stairs to get to my 5th fl. room, parts of me were not happy. But I knew that going in, so I can’t say I was surprised, and all in all it was still worth it.

The hotel has an excellent location, the neighborhood is very friendly with several excellent bakeries, restaurants and super-markets. The possibility to use a common kitchen is also excellent. The house keeper was very friendly and helpful.

There was a very noisy refrigerator in the room. The air in the room was very dry. The check-in-method with all the confirmations and photo of ID was very complicated. I made it a week before my arrival but only on the day of arrival I received information that I could not receive all check in detail because the photo of my ID was blurred. It was stressful to deal with it standing in front of the hotel.

Great location, accesible by subway and buses, however quite far to cheap groceries. Apartament like on the photos, comfy and with amenities. Comfy bed, enough towels and full of cosmetics in bathroom, incl. even hair conditioner! Nice personnel, helped me twice - with door and dishwasher. Great light near the bed with a dimmer. Also plenty of smart TV options - could watch the Super Bowl for free.

There were days that heating was not enough and I had to plug additional electric heater. Windows not insulated properly and one window had damaged lock. Also, couldn't use washer and dryer due to malfunction - but the property worked quite fast to order new equipment - I'm not mad about it. Electrical distributor damaged - AC worked, but USB ports not. No problem again - I had my own but I recommend to check. Had some problems with a additional payment but I know that was not due to the owner - virtual desk was really helpful.

My room was one of the more spacious rooms and beautifully located ones, with large windows that let in lots of natural light. It was very clean and incredibly comfortable for my one-week stay. I absolutely loved the location in Boston’s charming South End. But the most special part of the accommodation was the wonderful housekeeper—she seemed to anticipate every need and made me feel so warmly welcomed. Her kindness truly made the stay unforgettable.

The windows were not closed tightly, so it could get a bit chilly.

The room is clean and has just about everything you need and more! We were impressed with the water filter. The location is very good. We arrived after midnight and got in very quickly with the instructions provided in advance. The staff is very polite, helpful and quick to answer questions.

Soundproofing is pretty bad, although I think that's normal for such old buildings. The toilet bowl was wobbling.

I spent six nights at this hotel and found it to be a very pleasant, cozy, and comfortable place to stay. The room I stayed in was clean, spacious, and situated on a high floor with a lovely view of the street. It was an apartment-style room, fully equipped with a refrigerator and a mini kitchen that had everything I needed. During my business trip, I needed to work with documents, and I greatly appreciated the excellent lighting in the room. The hotel is located in a beautiful and quiet central area of the city, conveniently close to restaurants and shops. I would like to express my gratitude to the support staff for their attentive service and quick responses to my requests via phone and messages. I also enjoyed interacting with the hotel manager, Edith, who is exceptionally kind and attentive to guests. I hope this won't be my last visit to this wonderful hotel!
