We had a very enjoyable short stay at this hotel. It’s conveniently located near many restaurants and just a short drive from the event we were attending. The front desk staff were consistently polite and welcoming, no matter who was on duty. Breakfast was a typical American spread, but everything was fresh and tasty. There was a great variety: coffee, tea, apple and orange juice, cinnamon rolls, danishes, muffins, scrambled and hard-boiled eggs, bananas, oranges, yogurt, and a few cereal options. My kids were hoping for waffles, but unfortunately, the machine wasn’t available during our stay. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. My kids especially enjoyed the large heated pool and hot tub. The atmosphere was peaceful, and other guests were respectful and quiet. The hotel is undergoing renovations, and I’m looking forward to seeing the improvements on the older sections. We only had to ask for an extra toothbrush—everything else met or exceeded our expectations. There also wasn’t any lingering odor like we’ve experienced in some other hotels.

The staff were very responsive to a problem we had in our room shortly after our arrival. There was an electrical problem late at night, the night before Christmas Eve when it was freezing outside. The staff responded immediately and two attempts did not resolve the issue so we were upgraded to a much more comfortable room without any fuss or extra cost. Also, the breakfast was good and the location was great

When I made the reservation it wasn't made clear that the room we booked was in a separate building. To access the pool/tub and breakfast we had to walk across the parking lot. We were in the area for a ski trip over Christmas and it was freezing temperatures. Of course, this may have been my mistake and I just didn't notice however, if I had known before making the reservation it would have affected my choice. As it turned out we experienced an electrical problem in the room shortly after arriving and were upgraded into the main building which made our stay much more pleasant. Plus, there were a lot of tiny ants in and around the hot tub which wasn't very pleasant. I was looking for a pool/hot tub when deciding where to stay and was disappointed when we tried using the hot tub.

Large refrigerator with a separate freezer plus a microwave 4. Made-to-order omelets for weekend breakfasts. 5. Easy, secure parking; good & safe location. 6. Hot breakfast options. 7. Good a/c.

1. Same boring breakfast M-F. Need to AT LEAST have 2 weekdays with different types of meat/eggs. Please also have AT LEAST 2 types of bagels. Everything was THE SAME….day after day, including the fruit. 2. Handicap room NEEDS MORE HOOKS in bathroom. NO place to hang towels, etc. Only 1 hook on back of door, & it had hair dryer bag on it so no space for a towel. 3. Drain in handicap shower inadequate for amount of water coming from shower head. Didn’t find any way to adjust the volume of water, so flooded the bathroom.

The room was modern and so comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, and everything felt more luxe than I expected. There was also a little patio with two adirondack chairs and it was lovely to sit out there in the morning with my coffee (from the full breakfast bar) to start my day.

There was a bit of a line at check in given other folks arriving in town for Tanglewood concert that evening. However, I will say that the staff was incredibly professional and friendly, even dealing with a rude customer in a way that I would not have been able to with such skill.

Received a text from the front desk after we left informing us that we had left a pair of swim goggles at the pool. This was very helpful. The person at the front desk found the goggles and realized they were ours. The breakfast is very good. The pool is really heated. All hotels say. their pool is heated, but they're usually ice cold. The pool at the Yankee Inn really is heated! Very nice.

Some renovations are going on. But they really didn't impact our stay at all.

My husband and I just returned from a 2 night stay at The Yankee. We absolutely loved every aspect of this wonderful hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell that cleanliness was a priority. The room was large and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast, which was included, was very good and there was even the ability to have a freshly made omelet. My husband and I love a good hot tub and pool. The pool was the perfect temperature as was the hot tub. Many times you go away only to find a cold pool and a lukewarm hot tub. Not here. They were both perfect. Location is good, service is good, and the facilities are wonderful. We will be back and when we are in the area will not stay anywhere else.

Not a darn thing.

The breakfast was a very nice addition to my stay with my friend. I was in Lenox to bury my late husband’s ashes and needed a clean safe close place to stay with my friend who was kind enough to come with me from Lyndhurst Ohio to Lenox Ma The staff was pleasant and helpful. And staying here at least made that part of my trip more enjoyable. I appreciated that so much. I told my husband’s and others about staying at the Yankee Inn

We enjoyed the convenient location of the hotel as it was close to shops and the supermarket as well as to neighboring towns like Lee, Lenox, and Stockbridge. The breakfast included with our stay was a wide spread and wonderful. On Sundays they have an omelette station that was a great addition. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and they also upgraded our room. Although their indoor pool wasn't open, their outdoor pool was available and my son had a lot of fun.

The hotel was very clean. The outdoor pool was very nice. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices with made to order omelets on the weekend. The staff was friendly and efficient.

It is somewhat dated. The halls smell a bit musty. Our room carpet had seen better days. The A/C was very loud.

I appreciate the helpfulness of the staff, particularly George Brooks, the registration desk manager. George was very help with our reservation and dealing with the online companies that we used to make the reservation. George was also a very friendly and welcoming ambassador for the hotel and the entire Berkshire area. We also enjoyed the hotel layout and decor - vintage posters and photos the region. The exercise room was small but for an early riser, who had one of the 3 machines and the large screen TV for himself two hours each day, it was a good way to start the day. The breakfast was also enjoyable, particularly the regional coffee and fruit.

We enjoyed the hotel. If we had a complaint, it might be the noise of the room heater. The room was comfortable and warm. The refrigerator was large and had a freezer unit.
