❤️ We were here with our family with other families from our daughter's dance team for a nearby dance competition.. From the moment we drove onto the property we knew it was going to be a good choice of hotel! Not only is this place beautiful, it's also super unique and the rooms are HUGE! Now for the staff. The wait staff and bartenders were AMAZING. SO incredibly kind and welcoming. Even our kids (13 and 10) commented on how incredible they were. Now for the front desk staff. Nary was the first we met and she immediately was super interested in the dance comp and was so excited to hear how it went the next day! Her interactions with the parents and the children was like nothing we've ever experienced. The second night of our stay, Emily joined Nary at the front desk and she was absolutely amazing as well. Our girls spent some time chatting with them and they treated our girls with such respect and were so incredibly kind. Emily even joined our girls in some dance moves at the end of their shift. We will return solely based on our interaction with these two wonderful young women!!! All in all, it was a remarkable stay and our kids will all remember it fondly as will the parents! ❤️

The food was a bit expensive for what it was. It was tasty, for sure but not worth the high prices. The lighting in the rooms could definitely be better but it wasn't a huge deal overall.

Loved the staff really nice and helpful, we got there and they were so busy and check in was running late but staff made us aware that all the room needed was towels and they allowed us to check in to the fully cleaned room. Only needed towels it was so down to earth to just allow us to check in even if they were so busy that house keeping hadn’t gotten to something so minor. They said one of the washers were broke. And just got replaced so that made completely sense. We’re all human it was a great stay and we will continue to come back as much as possible!

Honestly only thing was loudness in room 18 ( across the hall) that night from obvious late late party. That would sound like it was in the hall way lol!

It was a beautiful property and I only wish I had more time to spend there… The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our meal in their restaurant/bar… The breakfast was adequate … Given more-time, one could come to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings and the facility itself… Real china for a piece of toast, or a pastry just didn’t suit the lovely library where it was served with all its gorgeous furnishings , Etc.

The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were way too hard… One should consider a mixture of hard and soft pillows as that definitely contributes to how one can sleep… Also, the TV was broken and I had to call the front desk person three times in order to get it to even work… it kept coming on all night long even though we turned it off each time… just a little more consideration given to this lovely old facility could make it dynamic once again..

Location is excellent. Quiet and peaceful. Grounds are beautiful and enjoyed walking around. Hotel manager was very pleasant. Decor and walking into hotel was beautiful. Free breakfast was a bonus.

Bathroom definitely needs some renovation. Sink leaked and shower/bath was a little odd with a fill size mirror while you showered. Room was not as clean as expected. Pullout is not suitable for anyone over the age of 10. Air conditioning didn’t work and it was 76 in our room yet you step into the hallway and it was definitely air conditioned. On the surface the place is beautiful but definitely needs some updating.

hotel and grounds were beautiful. rooms were big and nicely appointed. Drinks were amaxong in resturaunt. front receptionist was very helpful and personalble. great location. lkved the woodwork and library.

Bath tub was a let down. breakfast wasnt great, ordered a 45$ steak at onsite resturaunt, it came out rubber i couldnt eat it and was only given a 50% off of the plate. after spending almost 200$ on the whole meal. food was just sub par. price was a little high for room amenities.

We stayed over christmas, and the hotel appeared to not be too busy. Beautiful old building that looked like something out of an old holiday movie set. They seemed to be a little short staffed, but the people there were extremely helpful.

The only coffee was from a Kurig, and not very many choices. The person who made the coffee and or set up breakfast did not show up on Christmas day, so there was not a continental breakfast.

Great selection of easy morning food. The library was lovely. I think I sat in every seat. Beautiful open window affect. Wish fire place was on cold rainy November morning. Im up from FL.

The coffee was the worst I have ever had in a hotel. Wow gotta work on that. In room in the lobby for breakfast and after dinner coffee was all the same weak no flavor coffee

Hotel is very beautiful, rooms are clean and spacious, we also had a balcony. Staff was super friendly

We tried to use the spa but it didn’t open on time and then the sauna attendant called in sick so we couldn’t use it. Still, the staff was super nice and tried to make sure we could use it later in the day, even though we were checking out. Unfortunately we were on a tight timeline and couldn’t but it was great they were so accommodating

The room was nice and large. There were good amenities inside the room. The grounds looked maintained and the hotel was clean. Happy they had the restaurant and bar it was delicious. The welcome box with treats was a nice surprise. The hotel has the potential to be very nice. Not sure the overnight cost was worth the stay.

No breakfast just a kuerig coffee maker. No one explained where anything was when we arrived and no mention of any events etc in the restaurant. The TV kept coming on during the middle of the night and we had to pull the plug. The spa area was confusing and the workers did not know what was going on. The bed was very hard

Did not seem to be a lot of people staying there. The bar/restaurant closed early because of a lack of business. The one time we did eat at the restaurant, the food was very good, but, again, we were the only ones in the restaurant. It just felt odd.
