Chris (front desk) and Patricia (breakfast room) were very gracious. I had numerous questions since I hadn't stayed in a motel since before 2019. I also observed how attentive they were to various guests and their personal needs. I was pleasantly surprised when I was told I could do work in the courtyard after leaving my room at checkout, as the weather was not good and I had a 2-hour wait for a scheduled appointment in the Lansing area. Of great importance to me was the way Chris handled an unpleasant guest - he was calm and positive in the face of unwarranted accusations and demands. Chris deserves a bonus, if that is possible and a practice in your chain.

I tried to contact booking.com To let them know we had to leave the 12th instead of the 13th , but couldn't get a hold of anyone anywhere. I might use a different booking company next time Sad. I've been pretty loyal to booking.com, but after this it might be time to move to a different company unless I'm able to get some kind of refund... Let me know, thanks, Annegret Stolz

The overall energy of the family working/ owning it was amazing. They are welcoming and friendly. The pool looked so fun with a slide and a deep end. The room was perfect for a comfy night to sleep.

The room was clean, but I did do a wipe of the chairs and desk prior to using it. I think a little extra look/ wipe of all counter and seating spaces from the housekeeper would make this hotel my perfect 10

It was nice, cozy, clean , excellent place if you have children via the sweet pool/game room. Oh man, next time I’m taking swimming trunks. Breakfast was decent as well, better than some. I like the dining area, it looked like they had a bar but I’m not sure. This is really a good spot and I will for sure stay there again.

Didn’t seem to be cameras in the back lot where I was parked. I woke up at 5 am and checked my vehicle. Hard to sleep comfy without that piece of mind. The car was fine though. Also the hotel needs new doors but outside of that it’s really a nice place

PEDRO bends OVER BACKWARDS to MAKE SURE YOU are HAPPY and SATISFIED. The BREAKFAST is PHENOMENAL, I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH QUALITY INN UNIVERSITY PLACE !!! THANK YOU SO MUCH PEDRO and STAFF !

The COMPUTER is GONE in the LOBBY because of a ROTTEN APPLE that ABUSED the GOOD NATURE of the INN KEEPER

Clean, quiet and comfortable! What more can you ask for in a hotel room? The hotel was closer than we realized to MSU so after a full day of tailgating and a late game, it was easy to check in and get to our room for a good night's sleep.

The rest of the hotel is tired but for our purposes, it was great. The breakfast could be a bit hotter but it was quite a spread for a hotel offering.

Good location. A 25 minute walk to MSU, or a $5 Uber. Rooms were fine, quite large, comfortable, clean. Staff were very friendly. This place was fine as a place to stay while on business in the area. Not sure I'd quite like it for vacation.

The pool set up was very strange. It was indoors where the breakfast room is, in the middle other hotel. You were very exposed if you used it. Breakfast was basic. Just some fruits, coffee and yoghurt. The room did not have any windows to the outside, so felt a bit dark and gloomy.

the stairs. they were steep, and the first night I was awake almost all night because the hall light shines right in our room and lite the whole room up. I had to leave ally in the morning to go up to Mount Pleasant and my daughter was in getting food with my son and some lady who worked there told him he could not be in getting food with out his mom! my daughter looked at the lady and told her he’s my Brother!! felt he was being judged because he is black and my daughter is white!! very wrong!!

Pool was fine on weekdays weekends it's full by non guests using it as a party pool it's Def a college party spot the staff was great pillows were nice and rooms

To many non guests half the doors don't open only 2 exits that work felt like a fire hazard keys constantly have to be redone and I was locked out at least 6 times were I had to run around the building to get inbeaides that it was OK breakfast was good besides the microwavable eggs and links they were disgusting the waffles were good

We stayed on the pool side it was such a cool 😎 spot. Everything was clean it was really quiet and everyone was friendly .

It would be cool it the little bar area opened .
