Really well located, close to all the shops and good restaurants.
The fact that you had to request room cleaning almost every time. I understand the they do not do it every day, but you’re supposed to have some sort of schedule, and I found my room as I left for work for two days in a row on more than one occasion, so that could improve. Also, parking is a little steep and they could have a deal for guests. 24 dollars per day, for just under two weeks was not cheap.

Very updated and European feel to the room. It was 2 blocks off the main street, so very walkable to everything, even the Nelson Atkins Art Museum.
Parking fee when you stay at the hotel. Lame. All hotels seem to do it, but give a deal or a break or something since we are paying for the room as well :) Our shower was cool and glass --- and iit was just right there in the bath area....no privacy from the rest of the room but a paneled divider that wasn't solid. So this could have been REALLY awkward for many. HoWEVER, to be fair--our room was ADA compliant, so maybe the clear shower and no privacy had to do with wheelchair access or something? The hotel was good enough to warrant a call there to check on the shower issue if that was a game-changer for your group.

The staff when we arrived were super friendly and when we needed assistance. We even got lost and wound up at the adjoining hotel and they personally walked up to where we needed to be. The bartender was friendly and made some amazing drinks, have him make you whatever creation he can come up with and you won't be disappointed! My husband and I also ate at the bar, fish tacos and wings. They were good and good price.
As a royals fan, cubs fans or any other fans should not be allowed at the bar. This is a joke of course! There is nothing negative I have to say about this property.

The gym was absolutely wonderful, as was the lounge, bar, and the overall look and feel of the hotel. It was very upscale yet modern and classy. The location was also good. The stadd were super helpful and friendly.
The thermostat in the room only goes down to 66 (I am a hot sleeper), and would keep turning off. Also, parking costs $25 additional, which was not listed anywhere in our booking, so that is an unfortunate gotcha that raises the overall cost of the hotel.

The “City View King” room was beautiful with 2 walls of windows, comic book decor and a super comfy bed. The hotel decor was interesting and fun. The bartender, Wayne, was friendly and the drinks were great. Great location for Westport Plaza access.
I wish you could order different coffee drinks at the breakfast area.

Newish property. The staff was amazing, especially the two front desk ladies (forgot both of their names), who were always so helpful and approachable. Property was nice and clean and conveniently located.
I wish they had a pool, it would have been nice, but not much can be done. The other thing is the cost of parking is $25 a night to self park, seemed a bit much or should be included in the stay.

The rooms was clean and modern. For those of you who complained that the bathroom didn't have a door, that is not the case. It has a pocket door and you need to pull it out, Bathroom was nice and the bed was wonderful! It was possibly the most comfortable bed in a hotel that I've slept in. The location was very good. It was a block away from Country Plaza. Furnishings were attractive. The only negative was that breakfast consisted of snack like food, which could be purchased. We chose to eat elsewhere.
The breakfast was not enticing and the rug in the room had a stain. Otherwise, everything was great. The negatives wouldn't stop me from staying there again.

The location near the restaurants in Country Club Plaza and the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art were the biggest prompts.
Paying for parking at a high rate was unwelcome and getting past the restraining gates was not easy. Also, the street work for the forthcoming rail service makes driving in the area nightmarish.

The staff went out of their way to make my stay more compfortable and enjoyable. I mentioned a good cold shower after my 8 our motorcycle ride in 106° weather. Upon returning to the lobby with my luggage, and heading to the elevator, one of the staff called me out. She asked me if I took baths or showers? Showers, I hate bathes. Your room has a bath only, let me make that change for you. What a HERO!
It will be better when the blocked street and construction are complete. The climb up the hill after a huge supper on the Plaza, But, I am getting fat and old. LOL

The location was great for shopping and dining. Also, only about 20 minutes to the ballpark and zoo. The room was clean. No swimming pool but a pool table, cornhole, outdoor seating, and games were provided for entertainment.
The bathroom and bedroom were basically all in one space with no privacy. Strange layout, to say the least. We were assigned a hearing impaired room, so that could have affected the layout for accessibility purposes, but all the sights and sounds from the bathroom were available for all to see/hear. Other than the room layout, our stay was great.
