I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the staff went out of their way to make sure everything was comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed, including a very comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The location was perfect, convenient to everything I needed, yet quiet enough for a restful night's sleep, with great amenities and a decent breakfast to start your day. Overall, I was very impressed with the service, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable hotel experience.

The location. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable. Several eating places are within a block of the hotel. They are right by KU Med Center and are easy to get to from I 35. There is a guest laundry with 1 washer and 1 dryer located in the building and you can purchase laundry supplies at the front desk. All the staff have been friendly and helpful.

The room price fluctuation. The first night was a reasonable price but each time we booked after that, the price kept going up. What they charge for local taxes is double what other hotels in the area charge. When I booked through Booking.com to pay at the property, they charged more than the price Booking.com quoted.

Breakfast, bed, room size. Very quiet. Fast service at check in and check out.

Bathroom didn't have an exhaust fan. Shower was quite cramped. Needed a key card just to use the ice machine on every floor, which was placed in a large empty room that could've also housed other things like vending machines, a table or a common area, or large trash cans/recycling bins. Receptionist wasn't very polite or transparent on extra charges that occurred (but were later dropped). In room wifi was usable but slow, despite a dedicated AP in the room. Not dedicated ethernet jack in the room as described, that was populated by the cisco AP under the desk.

I loved my king bed suite. It was perfect, clean and very comfortable. The free breakfast includes so many good and fresh foods that it keeps me coming back. It’s a nice way to start the day especially if you have to go to the nearby medical center.

A fiber optics cable had been cut so no TV for a few hours. Since it is next to the medical center expect to occasionally hear police and paramedics but it’s not a real inconvenience.

It was cool and nice. It felt so comfortable with the bed and carpet along with the lamps and the table. I think this will be suitable for a solo traveler and maybe a getaway couple if they don't mind having one bed. The breakfast was decent enough for me as well.

I would love to have a swimming pool for my late night swimming and I would be a little more happier if they have more options about the little store they have other than snacks and drinks like sleeping medicine for example.

Location. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Nothing special. The same as in other hotels, but it was hot, and there was plenty of it.

The parking lot. It is very small. We checked in by 3 pm and were able to get a parking place near the entrance. The inside door leading to the handicap accessible rooms needs to be automatic. It was difficult to hold the door open and assist my husband through in his wheelchair.

Large and comfortable room. Linens were fresh and bed was comfortable. Air conditioner was efficient and quiet. Shower/ water pressure was strong and hot water plentiful. Room was quiet despite being right across the hall from the elevator!! Breakfast was as expected (except no cinnamon rolls).

Check in on 2nd floor - front desk person not present, and no note to indicate absence; when she returned, she was lovely. Needed help with our TV - no pick up when I called the front desk or when I went down to seek some assistance, and no note to indicate absence; when she appeared she was immediately helpful. No cinnamon rolls at breakfast - seriously!!!! This was irksome!

The location is amazing if you're traveling for KU Med Center, it's directly across the street. The breakfast was great. The shower was a little small, but it was good for me. Restaurants in the same building and next door. Super convenient parking. Overall great stay and will be coming back when I need to get back to KC.

No down sides.

Breakfast was good and the location to the Medical Center was excellent although we were not there for the Medical Center

We noticed in the evening that the water in the shower was not flowing out of the tub. The decorative handle in the bathroom broke off and the phone to the front desk did not have a dial tone so we were not sure if we could reach the front desk using the room phone. We went down to the front desk, and unfortunately, there is no one on site in the evenings to address our concern. So we had to wait til the next day for the work to be done.

The location, opposite KU Med Center was perfect for our purpose. The room was spacious and comfortable. Lots of restaurants in walking distance including a Vietnamese restaurant literally next door.

Too many little things. The bath would only work as a bath not a shower and the sink plug didn’t work. I’m sure we could have got a different room but by the time I discovered the problem with the shower it was bedtime and not worth it.
