The hotel itself is very nice, clean rooms, spacious rooms, easy access to the parking garage, over all pleasurable experience.

The customer service was extremely off putting on arrival. I would get attitude and rude short abrupt answers for simple nicely asked questions. They would give short answers with no explanation. Followed by awkward silence as i try to figure out why they are being rude. I work in customer service every day. I would get fired for talking to customers the way they spoke to me. 2 separate conversations both equally rude and off putting. We avoided the staff after that.

The size of the room was wonderful. I used the gym everyday I was there and it was very clean. Housekeeping (one woman in particular) was amazing. The location was ideal for work, a baseball game and checking out the restaurants and stores at the Plaza.

The pool was a disappointment, it was extremely dirty.

It was an excellent location in relation to the plaza and all the eating establishment and shopping opportunities.

The breakfast buffet wasn’t all that good taste wise in opinion. After my party (4) were seated, and began eating breakfast. I saw one of the other staff members passing out menus where you could eat off of that particular menu. We were not afforded that option when we first got there nor where we told about a menu option.

Location was great, staff was friendly, room was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

There are extra charged for parking and breakfast. I did know this before booking, so it’s fairly indicated, but adds up charges quite a bit. Also, a suggestion, not a criticism: Since guests have the ability to sign into their streaming account (like Netflix) in the room, maybe a nice notice reminding them to logout before leaving would be helpful. Not everyone thinks of this.

I like that the property was close to all of our other reservations. Nice walking distance

The lady that checked us in and was rude . When we first came in and went to check in the lady told the staff to watch my husband as if he was going to do something. I am not sure she realized that was my husband at first when he came in with our bags but it was rude of her to assume that because my husband was dressed in shorts and a T-shirt that he was going to be a problem. . She yanked the credit car out of my husbands hand when he went to hand it to her and was hateful. My husband was very upset that she would treat him that way.

It was clean. The employees were very nice and welcoming.

The pool was very cloudy all 4 days we were there. There was something on the comforter and something on the hid a bed mattress. The restaurant is way overpriced! Breakfast was $100 for two adults and two kids. A bowl of fruit, one breakfast burrito, one waffle, and one yogurt parfait. That was the one and only meal we had there. you also have to pay $26 a day for parking.

The beds were very comfortable. Plenty of workout machines and two pools to choose from.

During the night there was cigarette and marijuana smells coming in through the vents from a guest nearby. Nothing the property could have done, and while they did offer to switch my room, I refused because it was so late.

The design of the room was very comfortable. It felt open and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. There are plenty of outlets everywhere you want one. Never had to hunt for one or use extension cords. Duel cup coffee maker was nice. The large flat screen TV that swiveled so you could watch it in bed or in the sitting area was a really nice design.

The only thing that I didn't care for was the refillable soap and shampoo dispensers in the shower. No way to know what was actually in the dispensers or who all used them and how old the contents were. It's unfortunate, but you have to worry about someone tampering with the contents these days. I am glad that we brought our own toiletries.

Came to KC for a few days with my spouse and 2 year old. We really enjoyed the big pool (outdoor and indoor) and even had it to ourselves one day. Breakfast buffet had lots of options that we all enjoyed - a variety of hot and cold/sweet and savory. Staff was friendly and attentive when we needed more towels or needed to empty our trash. Parking is in their own parking garage attached to the hotel. Bed was comfortable and room felt spacious (king studio suite). The location is close to the Crown Center and lots of walkable shopping (mostly clothing stores) nearby.

We booked and paid for a 1 bedroom king suite (with a separate room) but when we arrived, we were told this room type was sold out. This was a bummer as we very specifically planned this room type because of our two year old. They were professional about it and comped our parking, but it was kind of a let down because we wanted the extra space.

Location was nice. Valet staff very friendly and helpful. Loved the bar area. Room itself was lovely and the bed was so comfortable.

The floor we were staying on experience a burst pipe or something. The halls smelled terribly of mold and moisture. The floor by the area took on a lot of water and no efforts appeared to be made to warn guests or remedy the situation. It was pretty gross. Fortunately, the smell/odor couldn’t be detected in our room. However, the bathroom in our room smelled of sewer gas when we’d run the sink faucet and the toilet looked like it was on its last stay.
