We loved how clean the property was. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the sheets and pillows. The shower was spacious. The room itself was tiny but we knew that going into it. Close proximity to walking to pubs and church.
The first morning I woke up and went to dry my hair and the hair dryer did not work. Tried it in several outlets and still did not work. Called front desk and they wanted to send maintenance to check outlets. I explained the hair dryer was the issue. After an hour, no one came and we had to leave for the day. Not happy my hair dried on its own and was as flat as can be. Took hair dryer and left at front desk and told employee what room we were in and it no longer worked. Came home that evening and saw hair dryer hanging up in bathroom and assumed we were given new one. Next morning, showered and went to use hair dryer. They had returned the same one to our room and it didn’t work. Then called front desk and they were able to bring me a new one. Just a little irritating.

The rooms were small (to be expected in NYC) but very comfortable. They had a good breakfast with breads, waffles (make your own), eggs, sausage, fruit, juice, and coffee. The staff, that we interacted with, seemed really nice.
I'm not sure if it is a city ordinance, like some other large cities I've visited, but the paper plates at breakie took some getting used to. Some thicker plates would be great.

The hotel was situated in a very nice suburban area that was very close to the MTR station (R line). It only took a litter over an hour from JFK to reach the hotel by public transport. There were also a number of small grocery stores located around the area with some restaurants and excellent pizza stores scattered across - everything within walking distance. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our package also included a continental breakfast. Whilst there is no onsite guest laundry available, there is a very big and clean laundromat across the road within a few minutes walking distance which was very helpful.
The room was quite small and we could only open 2 large suitcases if you tetris styled it. Apart from that, we had no complaints about the service and cleanliness of the room.

Great find. The room was small, but clean and had a great view. There was a mini fridge and Keurig. Elevators were fast. Subway was 3 blocks away. Plenty of walkable food options, and Green-Wood cemetery is nearby. There was a large area for breakfast a few steps down from the lobby with plenty of seating. There was way more than I was expecting—scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, bagels, toast.
I used the parking—about 12 spaces in back and two in front. I didn’t have trouble finding a spot mid-week. Keep in mind it’s $35/night PLUS tax. It never feels good paying for parking, so it would have felt less annoying to price it with tax included. The hotel had some wear and tear in the hallways, and the bathroom layout was wonky—you had to step into the shower to reach the knob to turn it on. I didn’t have an issue, but felt like there could have been more layers of security—even something like requiring your key card to use the elevator.

This was our 1st stay in Brooklyn and we will definitely stay here again. The staff was friendly and helpful; the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained; subway was easy to access. I wanted to bring the shower home with me! The GM, Mr. Dixon, and the Housekeeping Supervisor, Filomena, were particularly delightful and welcoming, including making delicious special additions to breakfast most mornings (fresh omelettes/eggs, smoothies). They clearly set the tone for a staff who seems to not only enjoy their jobs, but are committed to doing them well and in a welcoming manner. Very enjoyable stay!
I have to stretch to think of something I didn't like ... Those are too strong of words for this, but the only thing I can think of I'd possibly change is the nearest subway stop could have been closer, but it was only 3-4 blocks, which was fine.

Clean rooms, nice staff. The manager and his assistent were very kind, they sometimes helped the tourists at breakfast. It is close to the metro station. Is not the best area of Brooklyn but it doesn't look like a dangerous area. We walked with the kids at night from the subway to the hotel and didn’t see anything dangerous, unlike in Manhattan, where there were lots of shady people.
Sometimes it was crowded at breakfast, but it didn’t take long for it to clear up. They don't have free transport from the airport. The room is small for 4 people.

An excellent hotel in a great location, a couple of minutes walk from the subway for downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan Island, also Coney Island and JFK. On the edge of Brooklyn's historic district and a pleasant walk up to Prospect Park and the Botanical Gardens (superb). In a quiet location just off a main street. Very good buffet breakfast with fruit, pastries, waffle maker, cereals etc. Lovely staff. Great shower. Our room had two huge beds (not needed!) and was slightly subterranean - this might not suit everyone but it was equipped with everything for our stay. Some very good restaurants up the road (turn right and keep going) including a Peruvian. Would definitely recommend this hotel for exploring the area, including downtown Manhattan ($2.50 flat fee every trip) and we loved Brooklyn.
All great, thanks!

Knowing nothing about Brooklyn we booked here based on reviews. Turned out to be in a perfect spot for us. 5 mins walk to R subway from which you can get to pretty much everywhere. US$65 Uber from La Guardia. Great little restaurants and bars (Sandy Jack's big thumbs up) one block away and a laundromat same distance. We went to Times Square once and just wanted to get back to the area we were staying in. 15 min walk away fabulous inside and out dining restaurant called Stone Park Cafe. Great menu, food and drinks and exceptional service (shout out to Billy and Andreas).
Nothing really. Free breakfast is basic but life sustaining and plenty of options nearby if not acceptable to you. But we were fine with it.

The location is a quick 5 minute walk to a main subway line that gets you downtown Manhattan within a half hour, but it never feels that long. As a Comfort Inn, it's going to meet the standards you would expect for the chain. Being NYC, the rooms are snug but it was fine for what we needed, we were there mostly for resting. I didnt partake in breakfast because I slept in but the waffles smelled amazing. A friend of mine ended up getting her own room because her bed was not terribly comfy, and this is where I think the hotel really stands out. The Hotel Manager himself came out and spoke with us, asking how they could help us better and worked with my friend on the cost of the extra room. They were extremely kind and accommodating. We would absolutely recommend and would stay here again.

I enjoyed the basic modern design of the room. The shower and the shower head were pleasing to the eye. The view was nice. The staff was courteous enough to give me a room on a higher floor. The location was nicely in a cut, so to speak. And apparently, I caught a room at a good price, despite being a loyal member of Booking.
Parking can be a problem if you're not lucky. I could have sworn the profile of the hotel claims there is free parking but I may be wrong - The cost is $38 which is excessive. The room may be a bit tight for a big man like me, particularly the bathroom - you have to step aside to open and close the door. And even though the room had twin beds which weren't used fully, the room still felt a bit tight (if the chair is pulled out, you're blocked).
