The staff was friendly and kind. They tried to do everything possible to make my stay comfortable. I appreciated it was my option to have full housekeeping or only little things like wastebaskets emptied and/or towels changed. The breakfast was above expectations, I loved the options, and the time it was available, a bonus water and tea/coffee were readily available. I felt safe (loved having to enter each floor with a keycard) and cared for.

The heat was also the air conditioner. It needed more insulation. I didn’t realize this until the end of my stay, it’s not their fault I didn’t mention it. The rooms are outdated.

The staff were wonderful. Great friendly people. I loved the decor of the place. Nice steady stream of water in the shower. The doubles and the suite we stayed in was spacious. A/C was pumping throughout the trip.

The website says there is a king suite and while most people would think a suite would have a separate living area with a pull out sofa, this suite only have a chair with a chaise. I think they need to make that abundantly clear because we booked the room based on that information. The omelets are not good.

This hotel was perfect - well-located in downtown Syracuse, quiet, clean, and with friendly and helpful front desk staff. The room was large, with 2 comfortable beds as we had requested, plus a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom had 2 showerheads with great pressure, which was a treat! Everything was clean and user-responsive. There was tea, coffee and water at all times in the lobby - much appreciated. The breakfast had a good selection, including fresh fruits, muffins, breads of various sorts, oatmeal and waffles you could make fresh. I enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return!

Not much to say - I liked everything. :)

the hotel is so clean and the staff was so friendly - i was so impressed and felt very welcome. the facility is a bit out dated and only one elevator was working at the time of our stay, but that didn’t cause much of a problem! the rooms were so clean and comfortable, a bit dated but still a very nice stay. the thing i didn’t like the most was the parking, it wasn’t easy to find but once we found it, it wasn’t too bad and was included in the stay. over all i would stay here again, i really enjoyed our stay?

the parking mostly. it is very tight and narrow to get into, and we drive a large vehicle. but once we were able to fit it was fine!

Have stayed several times at this hotel and will again. The rooms are clean and spacious, the large parking lot is a bonus and it’s centrally located which allows you to get to several Syracuse neighborhoods easily. Staff is always nice and it’s decent value for your money.

Breakfast is basic and the window AC units are a little loud but good for white noise if that helps you sleep. It did keep the room very cool during the very hot summer days.

I loved the whole atmosphere of the hotel. It was super quaint and had a very comfortable vintage look and feel. I was pleaseantly surprised. It has a beautiful front lobby with the feel of a hotel living room, with complimentary tea. Healthy soaps and toiletrees and beautifully, large, super clean and bright rooms, lots of light and perfect temperatures, very nicely ventilated. Perfect walking distance from main attractions in downtown Syracuse, and 15minute drive from international bus station. Beautiful park outside and nice quite area. Last but not least, the most helpful, wonderful and friendliest staff! The two day shift ladies were so delightful and helped me with my travels to get back to the bus station, and eased my worries. 10 stars for the lovely ladies. Was an absolute delight to stay here. My best hotel experience to date! Thank you so much! I loved staying in Syracuse! :)

Check-in was easy and the front desk personnel were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Loved the free parking and the ability to come/go and we pleased. Nice to have coffee/cold water to drink in the nice lobby. Has an older but classic feel to the place. Clean rooms and good water pressure.

The downtown area is a bit sketch and I would not feel safe walking around the area at night. Maybe in a group of 4+. (mind you lots of downtowns are like this now). Minor gripe: I didn't have a bedside table on my side of the bed. Water was backing up into the tub when I took a shower.

The room was very classic, like I expected to find in a older hotel, but nothing was old. The room was very well setup with lots of drawers, surfaces, and closet space. The shower was turbo. I was able to rinse so quickly. I wish I had that at home. There were plenty of windows so the room was nice and bright. I would definitely stay here again.

I wish that there would have been breakfast at the hotel, but there was always coffee available and a delicious breakfast was available at walking distance nearby. It seemed that one of the elevators may not have been working since we used the same one every time, but these are very nit-picky little things. I loved this hotel.

It is a historic hotel but with updated rooms. The room we stayed in was sizable (other than the bathroom) and the bed was very comfortable. It was in driving distance to Syracuse University which is what we were looking for.

The breakfast buffet was okay and very limited. There were not many options available. The area around the hotel did not seem to be the safest and I would not feel comfortable walking around.

Very convenient location. The room was cheerful, spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. Parking was good. Nice that there was a dispenser of water in the lobby. Also nice that guests could help themselves to extra towels, soap, etc., if needed.

The breakfast was pretty basic. Decent oatmeal. Not so crazy about the yogurt. My pet peeve - hot water for tea was in a container that's also used for coffee. This gives the tea a coffee-residue taste. Not pleasant!
