I love the price! I love the location, nice older neighborhood and the cleanliness and the hospitality of being able to have a little coffee and a little breakfast in the morning. It was so clean! I am 61 and have stayed in hostels before in London and Amsterdam. The only thing that could be improved is having larger lockers. Considering that most hotels start triple the price of hostel and they are not even that clean. (Shudder shudder), this was a great value.

Nothing you can about it, but as a 6 foot tall woman getting into the attic dorm was challenging. Halfway up the stairs, my head touched the ceiling. But I had to duck and climb. But it was on the cleanest places I had been into in a long time.

The house is cozy and my stay exceeded my expectation. Little details tell me this is very thoughtfully run - The name signs on the door, the free lockers, and the maps were all amazing. The staff and volunteers were so responsive and helpful. The common areas were spacious and helped me meet some cool people who were attending the same conference in the city.

There could be more heat or thicker blankets. The walls were not the most sound-proof.

I definitely got value for the cost. The staff is impeccable. There is a manager on call all the time so if there is a question or a need, he quickly responds. Unbelievably it is so nice and quiet! Their Bedding, especially their pillows are top notch. I would recommend to any other traveler or someone that is afraid to try a hostile as this is my first time. Great first time experience that is for sure. And it’s nice to meet people from different cultures.

Super friendly and helpful manager. Cute, homely, and fun property (with its maze-like layout). All the extras provided were honestly better than most hotels (the fact that I could borrow a bike for the day completely changed my whole trip as getting around would have been a lot slower or more expensive without it).

Maybe have some soap / shampoo / ect available in the bathroom. Also more lockers because all of them were taken up so I was a little worried about my few valuables.

Extremely affordable! I was in a room with three beds but no one else was in my room, because they weren't full, so I had the room to myself. It was very clean.

There are only four parking spaces (plus street parking) but it is all first come first serve. Also, it would have been nice to know beforehand that the breakfast is yogurt, bagels, cream cheese, orange juice, and milk.

I liked how clean it was in the room and having Netflix and Prime to watch. Breakfast options were nice if I needed a quick bite and I liked how the rules were laid out. I also would've loved to borrow a bike if I knew sooner but didn't until my last night.

The pressure in the toilet seemed weak because I had to flush a couple of times to get things down. I also wanted to use the hot tub one day but was too anxious to message anyone.

I was assigned to bed that wasn't a top bunk bed. I truly appreciate that, I have stayed at this property several times last year in 2024. Robbie is good guy.... this is always option until I find my own place..otherwise if I have money to book with this property. I'm returning this Easter weekend so I have. already book another reservation.

The manager was really kind and overall the hostel was great for the price. I was there for a conference at OSU so it wasn’t walking distance to university but you can definitely cycle there. The cycles are free. There is also a free campus bus that you can catch from very close to the hostel.

I just felt uncomfortable sharing the washroom but I guess that comes with the cheap price. I lived in private rooms and they were good.

I like that Robbie is quick to respond and flexible with checkin and luggage drop off. I also like that they have juice for breakfast which I didn’t realize so was a great surprise and laundry 🧺! I also like that everyone is either a traveler, student looking for housing or seem to have a purpose and respect for the space. Easy check-in, space to cook and store food in fridge and big bins for dry foods are convenient.

I do wish there was a dedicated girl dorm. Make Dorm 3 a girl dorm! 🥰 And that there were more windows open to air out the place. Could be a bit cleaner yes but it’s doable and I’m a germaphobe so anyone wondering you will be ok.

I’d definitely recommend this hostel. It’s my first time ever in a hostel and I liked everything here. The price is valuable. The rooms, bathrooms, and the entire hostel is clean that you’d feel at home. I slept in the 3 beds room and it was spacious. I brought two baggages with me and no one ever touch them so it’s really safe too. Robbie is nice too. The breakfast is for free. You can borrow a bicycle if you wish. I booked again cause I like the entire experience.
