The location of this boutique hotel was perfect for attending an event at the Expo Centre. The surrounding neighbourhood is great for walking. There are sufficient good restaurants within the surrounding 3 blocks. The rapid transit is directly across the street and that will quickly take you wherever you wish to go. The room was comfortable: the bed was good to sleep on, the room temperature was easily regulated, the room was clean. Although the hotel faces a somewhat busy transit area, the noise did not cause sleeping issues; if you are a VERY Light sleeper ear plugs might be wise. Parking on the street was safe and easy with no time regulations. The courtyard is well designed and would make this a great place for a group or team to congregate during their stay. The staff quickly answered our request for an extra blanket.

The listings for the property lead one to believe the hotel allows smoking. Thankfully Smoking is NOT allowed in the rooms.

Nobody there to bother you

There were NO STAFF on site. This may be the way of the future of hospitality - saves money. I had difficulty finding the key lock box, but called the number on the Office door, and got the info I needed to get the key. If you need anything else though, you're stuck - nobody there to help, or give you an extra towel, toilet paper, or directions. Had to change my expectations.

I liked the privacy and ample street parking. Location was pretty cool too, I was able to get to where I needed pretty quick and I also enjoy how close to the tracks it was.

I didn't like that there was no staff there and everything was self serve. When the water went out I would have preferred to talk with someone in person and not of email.

This location had such a cool feel. Me and my partner didn't mind the self check in and out and that there weren't staff on site regularly. Everyone respected the quiet time, and they had a great channel selection on the TV for evenings. The room was extremely clean and there was even a sign on the door that suggested some food and coffee restaurants in walking distance! that was extremely convenient. Overall it was a nice stay.

the check in process would have been easier for us if I hadn't received several combinations to get into the lock box. This was extremely frustrating because i had to look through each email (they sent about 8 from the time of booking through when we arrived through their email and booking.com) to get this combination. I only was able to get in because I called the emergency number on the door and left a message. After about 15 minutes I received a call back with the correct combination and we finally got in. It was inconvenient after a 13-hour drive to get there! Extra small note: there are no Irons in the rooms and every morning all rooms had an 8 am alarm clock going off, if no one was in the rooms next to you they would stay on for hours. that was so weird.

Transport routes directly outside to get easily to the city centre. Lovely nearby shops and cafes. Our room was clean on arrival and comfortable with a comfy bed, TV, fridge, and WiFi. The AC/heater unit worked really well and warmed the room quickly. We liked the arty touches and the mural above our bed.

We didn't see any staff whilst staying, and although we had been asked to message any queries it might have been nice to feel a staff presence, especially for noise issues from other guests in the night. Our room wasn't cleaned during the stay which was okay apart from needing to put our rubbish in nearby public bins when it built up.

It’s right across the street from the train stop which is definitely a plus if you’re not renting a vehicle. It’s in a quiet little area which made it easy to wind down for the night and fall asleep.

I didn’t care too much for the location just because it is a little sketchy at night. We rented a car for 1 day and were worried the entire time since there isn’t on property parking. I would’ve also liked to have more than just 2 towels in our room. I know it’s a smaller room meant for 2 but when you’re here for 4-5 days it would be nice to have extra and not have to rely on contacting the property manager since they aren’t always on the property.

Loved the courtyard and used it to make new friends! The room was a great size and the mural was beautiful. Lots of great food and coffee just down the street. We loved it and would stay again.

Need more towels and an extra blanket. The AC blows right on the bed and if we turned it off, the room got hot and muggy. With no staff and just an app, I was not sure how to request stuff. I'm not super app skilled, so it's probably a user error.

The room was very clean. Simple with a beautiful mural. The bed was comfortable and the TV had a volume limit which I liked because I knew it was to help keep people from being too loud. The floors were very nice. The carpet felt like there was memory foam underneath.

It took almost an hour to check in. We checked in after hours. Called the number posted on the door. Left a voice mail, texted like it recommended, and emailed. Once I finally got a hold of someone it was a very quick and painless process. It was just very difficult to get a hold of anyone.

I liked that it wasn’t too confusing to check in and get booked, cute murals in the bedroom, liked that street parking was available without worry of finding a spot. Could look out the window and see where I parked my car and keep an eye on it. Comfortable mattress with a little mini fridge and TV.

Nearby a train that can be loud for light sleepers, but didn’t have much of a problem with it.

I loved how close it was to the airport and the property itself was very homey and a cute place to stay at.

On the other hand which is out of the properties control the area surrounding the hotel is a bit sketchy. Had an unpleasant encounter with a homeless man trying to get into my car after I dropped my boyfriend off at the airport. Afán out of the hotels control.
