The place is very clean and the staff extremely helpful! We were surprised at how many amenities were housed at this location. There is a restaurant, cinema, food mart, gas station, laundromat, and much more! The room was comfortable and spacious with a nice sized bathroom, shower and vanity. It included a comfortable lounge chair and small refrigerator.

This is not a destination location for a hotel, it is in an industrial part of town near the airport and is connected to a trucking service center. That being said, the hotel itself is very nice. We had been driving all day and this was our final stop before flying home the following morning. It worked for us. By the way, they offer shuttle service to the airport if needed.

The property was perfect for coming in late or leaving early at the Portland Airport. The morning meal voucher was great! You can eat at the restaurant or get a to-go breakfast sandwich. There's a 24-hour convenience store and more. The room was clean and modern. 55-inch television and a large comfy chair to watch from. I stayed on the first and last day of my vacation. It will be my go-to hotel when traveling in and out of Portland from now on. Front desk staff are very friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my stay.

The only thing to recommend would be to increase the water pressure for the bathroom sink.

What a surprise!!! I often have to book near an airport because of plane schedules. The Portlander was a total surprise! The staff was so very helpful and I felt safe travelling alone. The hotel caters to truckers, so of course breakfast was superb and the coffee extra strong. The bedroom and facilities were very clean and simple but modern. I arrived at the airport at 2 AM and the hotel sent an Uber to meet me, I felt well taken care. The Portlander is s a down home welcoming place with wonderful staff.

I can't find many things to improve at this setting. It is one of a kind. Not so elegant but fun and clean. I did get in very late and almost missed the breakfast cutoff (no exceptions).

The hotel is one part of a large installation to support truck drivers. So, the complex also includes, among other things, a laundry, a movie theater, a bank, a post office, and a large restaurant. All of the facilities seem brand new. My hotel room was exceptionally comfortable. Happily, the shower omits the bathtub, making it much safer and roomier to use.

As a truck support facility, there are a lot of large vehicles constantly in motion. They're not noisy, but any driver of a small car is advised to navigate the parking lot carefully.

I didn't get to try the breakfast out, was too busy. The room was super clean and the bed was really comfy. The bathroom has a lighted mirror! That was really neat. Made it really easy to do my make up and hair for the wedding I was a part of. Pretty close to areas of interest via Lift or others. If you need to take off really early, the shuttle isn't available. But! They will cover an Uber for you. There were also little vending machines on floors that were chilled to have cold drinks and snacks.

I found out that menstrual products was not available in the closest convenience store. But I think there were some in the driver's store.

quiet room, beds were firm comfortably not soft just how we like them, complimentary airport shuttle, Uber for late airport arrival, friendly staff, great service, free wifi, laundromat, restaurant on campus convenient for breakfast, lunch or dinner, convenience store in hotel. Gas station on hotel campus with truck stop.

location is a bit far from airport, shopping facilities. But there is city bus in front of hotel to take to portland town and connect with trains $5.60 for all day pass. And as mentioned, shuttle to airport, rail station and areas close by which is a great service.

The room was large, and the bed was comfy. I slept like a baby. Staff was very kind. My room was cleaned and I received new towels every day. The amount of food was substantial! Trucker sized portions! The quality of the food was very good! very meal was yummy! The Portlander has so much to offer: convenience store deli, restaurant, post office, was all very useful to me. I did not get to watch a movie at the Cinema, too busy with work. The hotel is a few minutes from the city, and not far from the Washington border.

I was disappointed that I did not get a room with a jacuzzi tub, but the room I did get had a tub suitable for soaking after a long day of work/sightseeing. Although the walls seem thick, The neighbors above were a bit inconsiderate and loud the last 2 nights of my stay.

This is clearly the best truck stop I have ever seen. We expected it to be quite basic, but its cleanliness and cheeriness exceeded our expectations. The food at the restaurant next door and their being open late at night was another unexpected bonus.

Other have raved about the breakfast. While the menu in the restaurant was tempting, the hotel-approved menu was quite restrictive. In most hotels with breakfast included much more variety (for example juice AND coffee, not OR). Alternatively the $8 credit on the full restaurant bill was quite niggardly.

They have a full restaurant at this location that is open until Midnight and opens up at 6am, the breakfast is always tasty and there are lots of great choices on the menu, there's also a movie theater, market store, post office, it's connected to a Jubitz truck stop and while that might make you think you'll hear trucks all night, you do not.

The water pressure on some of the showers are not that great. (we always stay here when we are in town)

The breakfast provided by the voucher was very good and much appreciated. This is our second stay within the week. We stayed overnight before our early flight this time. Friendly helpful staff. We were really blessed to check in earlier than the 4 pm check in time as we were tired from traveling for several hours and they had a room available. We also informed the front desk we had to leave early the next morning after breakfast. Since their shuttle is not available at that time, they made arrangements for a complimentary Lyft ride to the airport. Truck stop location may not be convenient relative to airport but the city? bus route 6 does stop there and runs frequently. If one drives, there appears to be a freeway entrance to I 5 is right there. As in our earlier visit, comfortable bed, quiet, roomy, restaurant were excellent. Were we not tired, we would check out the on site theater. We felt safe in this area.

Nothing comes to mind.
