Location, cleanliness, staff members

Paid for parking and none available because they were having a private party so unless guests arrive early, no parking available. Came back inside after finding other parking 4 blocks away. Asked for money returned for parking and they told me that hey did not have to return because their policy states that parking may not be available. I told her that o would never stay at Marriott again if that was really the case. Still not sure but my money for parking was refunded

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Great location near the river. Lots of places to take a walk and proximity to outside restaurants and bars. It has an amazing bar too.

Area of improvement for the hotel is cleanliness especially the bathroom. Our bathroom had mould when we checked in . The house keeper who came to clean our room the following day, didn’t even bother to wipe any spills/ stains on the tables or bathroom area. She simply pulled the beddings back, cleared trash , added towels and that was it. It’s a beautiful hotel but will soon be run down if cleanliness isn’t taken seriously.

Location was great on the waterfront. Property was nice.

The front desk personnel were nice but not attentive. Specifically, we had lots of luggage so we needed the luggage cart. No offer to get help so we did it on our own in and out. Maybe there are no no bellmen? But there were 3 people for two stations with one standing around. The restaurant service was, in a word, terrible. It took 3 people to seat us at check-in that we waited for only to be taken to a dirty table. We were given our silverware vs her placing it down for us at the newly assigned table. Then no one came at and all for at least 5 minutes with water or a greeting. 4 servers/hostesses were bumping into one another with only about 6 or 7 tables active. Highly unorganized. We got up and left.

Breakfast was good

Needed a toothbrush - lobby mini store has everything else but no toothbrushes. Also, I did not request a handicap room - I mentioned this to the receptionist. Her responses were we're out of rooms - but I am sure that wasn't the case. You should let customers know beforehand if you're going to put them in a handicap room.

It was in a beautiful location. It was very upscale. It was a little pricey but I thought it was worth it for the lovely outdoor area to spend time walking in the mornings and the really lovely hotel.

Breakfast buffet too expensive for what was offered. Paid $6 for one candy bar in the market.

The location is fabulous right on the Vancouver waterfront. The hotel is modern and beautiful and the staff was friendly and attentive.

The towels and bedding could have been of better quality and while my room was for the most part clean, there were areas that hadn't been dusted in a while and the tissue box was empty. Neither of those would stop me from staying there again. This could be a 5 star hotel is they improved on a few items.

The location is fantastic. Right on the river and easy walking distance to downtown restaurants.

Parking garage is difficult to navigate and not enough parking for hotel guests...all that with a cost of $25/day. There were 2 events happening at the hotel when we arrived and as a consequence the garage was completely full. Had to park on the street and specifically request a refund of the daily parking fee.

Great location and view. After a maintenance issue and a change to the room we booked we had a great time

We were were checked into a room we did not select, but after a maintenance issue they first moved us to another room similar to the original room, they then moved us to the room we booked

It's right on the new Vancouver waterfront. The newly designed and developed waterfront Park is lined with hotels, restaurants and shops. You park on level 2.

No complimentary breakfast; but coffee is available free. First level has a restaurant and bar.

Beautiful decor and friendly staff. River view was worth the extra cost, and we caught a few Christmas boats at night. We had an amazing dinner. Beds are very comfortable.

No microwave in the room, a few loud Christmas party goers in the hallway. No deal breakers, very minor issues.
