Super comfortable bed - mattress, bedding, and pillows were all fantastic! Loved the rolling table, and the chairs in the room. I liked the hooks on the wall. Liquid hand soap and lotion dispensers by bathroom sink were great, Minifridge was quiet. Room location and general set-up in hallways, with windows at the end of hall, very nice. Loved overlooking the pool and river. Ordered ceasar salad to take up to my room - the food, price, and restaurant service - all great. I appreciated being able to pay a reasonable price for a small salad instead of feeling ripped off, and it was delicious.

Water pressure in the shower was not very strong. Water temp didn't get as hot as I would have liked for a shower.

The room was large, with a private bathroom, a wonderful view of the river. Great food at the restaurant.

I would have given a higher rating with the service at the bar. My mom and I ordered a ceasar salad to go. We sat on the side of the bar. Lady said 15 minutes when it would be ready. We waited and waited, while this bartender was chating it up with a male customer. After 30 minutes, I got up and stood by the bar. She saw me and looked surprised and said, "Oh shit. You're so quiet and didn't know where you were. Clearly visible on the side if someone was looking. The place had one person at the bar. Took the food and left while the customer and the bartender laughed. Horrible ignorant service.

The front desk and restaurant staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were big, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. There were adequate amenities. Housekeeping staff was quick and good. The location was nice, right on the river. Sadly the weather was cold and rainy when we were there so we didn't have a chance to enjoy the view very much. We paid the extra for breakfast which allowed us to order off the full menu for no additional charge. That was a nice surprise. Also parking was ample and convenient.

The bathroom amenities could have been slightly higher quality, but they were fine. I have no other suggestion.

I loved the location and our room was small but nice. I really enjoyed the balcony.

I have been to many hotels with my dog and I wish that if a hotel says they are pet friendly that the pets are welcomed every where especially if you don't want them left alone in the room. It makes it hard to enjoy the restaurant. Maybe add a dog friendly balcony or section at the restaurant. Also you really need to get the spider webs cleaned off the balconies as I walked around I noticed it was not just ours.

We love this hotel! It's our go to when we travel through Portland. It's right off I-5, conveniently located, clean, large room and a DREAMY bed to melt into. Great water pressure for a nice shower. Balcony with a beautiful view of the Columbia River and swimming pool area. Delicious restaurant, friendly staff and nice greeting at the front desk. FREE parking close to your room entrance with parking lot security!! The whole package for a great stay😀

Location is great. Pool and sauna is great. Room is huge and has fridge and micro. Beds are very good but not excellent. We go there every time we are in Portland.

For the price we pay, we ask for 3 upgrades: 1) upgrade shampoo & conditioner - Dove doesn't cut it. 2) upgrade to half n half instead of powdered creamer. 3) upgrade to free continental breakfast, nothing fancy. I had the $14 denver omelet at the bar & grill and it barely had any cheese or ham.

This is a great location with easy access to Portland, I-5, and Vancouver. Shopping and some restaurants are nearby. The river is a great bonus, as is a walkway along the river. The outdoors pool is larger than most hotel pools and there are tennis/pickle-ball courts as well. This is also where the America’s Cruise Line disembarks from their Columbia River cruise. Large conference facilities accommodate many outside groups. Staff were very helpful - I had a non-functioning Keurig in my room and someone came to replace it immediately. There are many places in Portland where you may have homeless encampments nearby, but this is not one of them. As of my visit in 2023, the grounds were regularly patrolled by security and felt safe and secure.

The west wing rooms on the west side of the building face the freeway and can be very noisy. Be aware of this when booking and asking about where room placement is. There are very nice views available from the rest of the hotel.

Beautiful view of River. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were taking an American Cruise Line trip and the boat picked us up from the dock behind d the hotel. The restaurant had a varied menu and was pretty good, especially breakfast. Rooms were comfy and spacious. We were concerned about our safety in coming to Portland. The hotel is located on Hayden Island and we felt very safe. Also, the hotel recommended "My Chauffeur" for a Willamette Wine Country Tour, and it was phenomenal!! I highly recommend this company if you want a tour that is tailored to your specific interests and preferences in wine.

The housekeeping staff were not too thorough as they failed to replenish our coffee/tea/cups.

Lovely pool . The location on the river is nice with views of Mt. Hood. Room is a good size. The beds are very comfortable. Staff accommodated us and moved us to a view room the second day of our stay. We received a breakfast voucher since they could not move us initially. Espresso was good! Breakfast was delicious and served hot. Plenty of parking for no charge.

The bars on the balcony are full of cottonwood seeds and spider webs. My microwave and refrigerator were not plugged in and we couldn’t figure out how to plug them in. The outlet was somehow hidden. The renovations are very nice but I liked the old location of the restaurant and bar better. It was so nice to sit and eat breakfast and look out the windows at the view.

I loved coffee in the morning and breakfast is awesome too. Staff at Grill is very nice and takes care of customer very well and every morning I see they are overwhelmed. Rooms are good and specious and very clean. Minor thing is you will see traffic if you need to do to downtown in morning time but that's nothing to do with hotel but next time i may prefer Holiday in NW Portland to avoid traffic. But this location is definitely very good experience and I may look to come back at some point especially if I am travelling with my family.
