We had an amazing time at Residence Inn. It started with Chasity. She was the sweetest person. She made sure we were happy. She gave my man a razor because he forgot his. She also took the time to show us where we could eat. We felt very comfortable with her. The smile and welcoming conversation was everything. She also helped me get hot water for a little hot chocolate. She even asked how our stay was going. We truly appreciate Chasity for being so accommodating and wonderful. She is definitely an asset to Residence Inn. We can't wait to return and see Chasity. We are so thankful for a great visit to Chattanooga, and a great hotel with wonderful staff.

The location is great! That was the main reason for us when we first booked the room in this place. After that we went back two more times. I love that the rooms look like a studio apartment with a full kitchen. It is so convenient for families with kids. They serve a good breakfast as well. Also, they did a great job helping us with our special request. We asked about the quietest room they have as my son has some sleeping problems. And we got what we've asked for. So now I don't even look for something else. When we plan our trip to Chattanooga, we book this hotel. The prices here are also good for the location and all the advantages.

Sometimes it can be noisy in the room just because it is located in the downtown and some cars drive crazy at night time. So I always have a sound machine for my son with us.

Jordan went above and beyond with her customer service. That is so rare in this day and age. She is management material someday. The breakfasts were typical and adequate. They even had some gluten free muffins which is unheard of. My husband has celiac disease, so it was very appreciated. Good coffee. The room was spotless. I even walked around in white socks one afternoon, and they were still white after several hours!! The location was perfect for our activities with the aquarium and several other attractions being within walking distance. They also paid attention to my request for a bathtub and a quiet room. We so appreciate having in-room thermostats instead of under the window cooling/heating units. The bed was quite comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the frig was quiet.

It is unpleasant to pay $20 plus tax per day for parking, but maybe we just aren't used to it since we typically don't stay in downtown areas. We had to pay for parking almost everywhere we went in the downtown area. The hotel does not have a computer for customer use which is quite odd. If necessary, you can use one across the street at another Marriott hotel. There is only one elevator, but was never really a problem. Just unusual.

I had an exceptional experience at this hotel. The location is ideal—conveniently situated near key attractions, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the room was spotless and well-appointed, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. Breakfast was good and the rooms were spacious. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and great hospitality.

Breakfast was the best ever. Staff was very nice. Room was great. Location was great. Just wish pool was heated.

One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because of heated pool in hotel. The pool was not heated and the management knew this. We had to go across the street to use the pool of another hotel. We are talking in November. Had to dress in warm clothes, pack clothes to change into, in a bathroom across from pool. Had no way of drying hair after swimming. Go back to bathroom to change out of wet clothes, into warm clothes, and get out in the cold to get back to room. The pool was because of our five year old granddaughter.

Great location within walking distance to a ton of great spots. The ability to come and go for one reasonable daily parking rate was awesome so we could branch out further than walking if needed. Good breakfast with a great staff that kept everything fresh up until close of breakfast hours which is rare these days. Staff was super helpful and kind. Location was very clean.

Beds were very soft, but that’s a personal preference thing that others may find a plus.

The location was ideal it was close to our main attraction of the day and restaurants. The room was a good size and made life easier since traveling with grandkids. The breakfast the morning of leaving was the star of the show, the grandkids especially loved the two different waffle machines and toppings!

This hotel is incredible. Absolutely amazing. Great staff. Great location. Easy access and parking, not real huge and very simple to get in and out and very safe and secure with a beautiful, wonderful staff. I can tell you this was the best hotel experience I ever stayed in in my life and I've stayed dozens of hotels. And the sweet rooms are just awesome. Alan Taylor

Nothing at all.

The facilities were great. The breakfast had variety, was hot, was set up in a way that made it easy for people to arrive, get their food, then clear the area so that those coming behind them were not standing and waiting for them to move to the seating area. The location was excellent - and the parking area was great, considering that parking areas like that in the downtown area are pretty rare. Very valuable aspect to me. The check-in experience was super. The two staff members we dealt with on checkin - Theo and a young lady from from Guatemala - were SO friendly. The fact that she was from Guatemala and felt comfortable speaking in Spanish with us made my traveling companions feel like they were "back home and among friends!" Residence Inn Chattanooga Downtown has a great "face" with those two on-deck.

The cost for the stay was a bit higher than I would have liked, but then 1) maybe I'm not as travelled as I should be to appreciate this, and 2) this may have been a marvelous price in comparison to the others around. For me on this trip, the location was more important than the price-point, so at the end of the day, I was still happy.
