Great location, lots of staff, amazing valets.

Some people serving in the restaurant who should not be. I was challenged when asking for more butter for my broccoli and more steak sauce. Guy said I’m going to take care of others first, give them their bill. What? My food was hot. I grabbed things from other tables. Not dining there again. Jake. Not qualified to be a server. He also sat down at my table to take my order. I’m a woman alone on a business trip. Totally inappropriate. Never had that happen in 40 countries. An entertainer from Australia started off making a crack about Trump. Duh? Tennessee is a solidly red state. Shut your mouth or go back to Australia. I’m not there for your political commentary. It wasn’t funny.

The staff was amazing. The free shuttle service, Rusty and Rick, and all the other crew allowed us to explore the city without the stress of driving! The Commodore Grill was really good, too. The food was hearty and filled you up, and it's convenient because it's right in the hotel lobby. Our favorite wait staff was Kerry and Ferdinand. They took the time to tell us where to go and even how to get there. They often came back to check on us for refills or whatever else we may need. There's also live entertainment there every night! Right across the street is Centennial Park with lots to see and do. Walking distance to many restaurants and local businesses. There's a very nice pool with plenty of seating and a nice size workout center. Even checking out was fast and simple with Keniah. This hotel has it all. We are already planning our next trip and this is absolutely where we will stay. Everyone made us feel very welcome! Can't wait to go again.

I came here for a week for the orientation for my NP degree at Vanderbilt. They have a shuttle that will drop you off right at the school of nursing! I thought this was so convenient. I would just reserve the time with them the night before since I needed to be dropped off at 730a, but I believe after 11a you don't have to reserve and can just wait out front for the shuttle. When I needed to get picked up from school, I would just call the number and wait. . The room was nice and comfortable. I loved the desk and chair so that I could do my homework. I was the room right next to the elevator, so it could get noisy at times when people were coming in and out of the elevator. The rooms had a mini fridge and a microwave which was super convenient. Commodore grille had live music everything. Coffee shop downstairs was good, but expensive, it was cheaper for me to get Starbucks quite honestly. I got the option to have breakfast included, it was at the commodore grill, buffet style. It was convenient for me since it was quick and easy to eat before I had to head to school. Great location for me in my budget! Will most likely stay here again when I have to come back for school.

Two water bottles were supposed to be included but they did not refill my water bottles any of the days that I stayed (I stayed 6 nights), and I even asked the hotel front desk downstairs if I was supposed to get it every day and she said she would make a "note"but I still didn't receive the water bottles the subsequent days. Only one time did I get tired of waiting, it was almost 30 minutes, and he told me 15 minutes, that I gave up and just walked back, which took about 15 mins

Shuttle downtown with dropoff/pickup at 5th and Broadway. Cheap to Uber too. Good breakfast buffet for a chain hotel buffet-always scrambled eggs, breakfast meats, grits, hot oatmeal, fresh fruit. Nice view of Parthenon from small balcony. Complementary tickets. Worth visiting. Walking distance to Parthenon, Vanderbilt, restaurants. Loved Commodores bar & restaurant in the hotel-live music every night. Locals bar restaurant across street was great for live music, drinks and delicious Salmon dinner(nice break from the BBQ). Beds/bedding comfy. Check out Printers Ally for music off Broadway-quieter. Don’t miss the bridge for best views and great park in front of Capitol Building.

Carpet worn/stained. Lobby area very basic. Tired of scrambled eggs after 4 nights. Wish the cheese omelets were served more than once. Only one bedside table. Bathrooms a bit tight.

Fabulous location, love the balconies overlooking the park. Comfortable bed and very clean. My only concern was that the ice bucket was cracked on the bottom and it leaked water all over my makeup bag and my daughter’s fabric lunch box. The parking is a bit of a pain, ESPECIALLY in the rain! The pass doesn’t scan easily so if it’s raining, expect your car to be soaked before it opens. The valet parking is only $10 more than self park. Self parking is $35, I will utilize the valet parking for any future stays. Overall, 10 out of 10 stay.

I must say, this hotel has the best breakfast I have ever had for a hotel. It was so good. The waiters were all very nice. We used the shuttle to everyday to get to our different destinations and would just take a Lyft back to the hotel since it was so late or early depending on how you look at it ;) All the drivers were so nice and talkative. They were excellent drivers. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our room had a balcony and ws next to the elevator. For being right next to it, there was barely any foot traffic. But we requested the top floor so that is probably why. Unfortunately, we did not get to try the pool or gym. Our trip was to go hike and party for the majority of it. The hotel also had water and cucumber available. The cucumber water was delicious. We had some everyday. There was a night we got back and decided to play connect 4 and scrabble. We definitely had fun with that. My favorite part was that my car was safe the entire time.

I think the pricing for the car overnight is expensive considering we paid extra for breakfast. Maybe there should be a deal with that. The room was clean but in need of upgrades. The bathroom seem outdated and a little run downed.

The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Everyone from the front desk to the Valets, to the house cleaning, and the Commodore Grill were kind, professional, and went above and beyond. Clinton, Clay, and Michelle were excellent- as was everyone we met, and we wish we had their names, too! The room was clean and perfect, and as Vandy alums, so the location is PERFECT. We had a great view of the stadium! The Songwriter's showcase was fabulous and we loved we could hear amazing music and then take the elevator back to our rooms. We cannot wait to come back!

There was nothing we did not like. It was a perfect stay! Thank you!

We went through booking, Com and didn't get the wheelchair accessible room we needed, Holiday Inn moved or room immediately to meet our needs. However, there were only 2 wheelchair parking spots in the lot and never opened up to others that needed them. Instead, there were two rows of "diamond" parking spots there that were never filled. And my spouse had to unload and push me from the rear of the lot. The hotel had a fabulous restaurant with great entertainment within and less than half block walk to other fast food and nice sit-down restaurants. They offered shuttle to Vanderbilt Hospital which was why we were there. Only wish our wheelchair accessible room had some more room to move around more easily. Also wish they had more wheelchair accessible parking since they are such a valuable asset to Vanderbilt Hospital. Thanks Holiday Inn, your staff was great. Including the parking attends. Your costs were very good. So, you are very close to perfect for us.

More room to move around in wheelchair accessible rooms and more wheelchair accessible parking needed. Especially for Vanderbilt Hospital patients being there.

The staff was extremely nice, and your desk clerk loaned us his air compressor so we could safely return to the airport. The housekeeping staff was very accommodating when we had a rough start too. Honestly, I think they might need a few additional housekeeping employees as they work especially hard to make everyone's stay enjoyable.

We had a rough start as our room was not ready and we had some dirty / stained linens and the shower door was water stained, however, housekeeping righted everything. Given how long it takes to get hot water to the upper floors I am not surprised by the shower door. Lastly, the advertising for the Executive Queen Room was not very truthful and properly described and misleading. You get a queen room and access to a lounge down the hallway. It's not an enlarged room.
