We really enjoyed our entire stay, the rooms were clean and updated, and the staff let me choose what floor we wanted to stay on. The breakfast options were pretty solid. They had a waffle maker, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, cereal, 3 juices, milk, coffee, yogurt, toppings, and bread/bagels. My children 3 & 6 also enjoyed feeding the geese outside on the dining area patio. The outdoor pool is wicked awesome. We had so much fun going down the slide over and over and over. Beds were perfect for us! The rooms were very clean and spacious absolutley 0 complaints. I do want to add that we stayed during an extremely busy time because it was a holiday weekend. The staff that makes the breakfast was not prepared for the amount of people that were there (600 guests is what the staff told me) so they did run out of breakfast items very quickly and there was a wait time for some items, BUT they kept pushing forward. One even apologized for the excess wait time for the food, and assured us that the next day they would be more prepared. Most importantly the majority of the staff I encountered were empathetic and had great customer service. Front desk could be a little more cheery, but nothing to complain about. You definitely have good staff members working for you!

The only things that I didn't like 1) this is personal preference, but I didn't like how the gift shop was displayed openly in the lobby. My daughter attempted to take a toy 4 different times. Had it of been in more of an enclosed area (like part of it is) I don't think it would have been an issue. 2) The inside pool was not great at all, my kids wanted to get in it, but honestly it looked cloudy with visible dirt and the chlorine fumes were probably the strongest I've ever smelt indoors. We opted to not swim in the inside pool. However, I hope that at the minimum the indoor pool can be addressed as we are coming back to stay late November for Thanksgiving and I would love for the kids to be able to swim.

The Inn was very clean, and we felt safe and welcomed by all of the staff. We loved the outdoor swim area and the indoor pool was great to have when they had to close the outdoor area due to pop up storms which tend to happen during this time of year !! The room was spacious with plenty of room to relax and the AC worked great, and had no problems staying cool. Shower had endless hot water, and a small fridge in the room was great for leftovers or a few things we had on hand to stay cold.

The bathroom toilet handle had to be lifted each time you used it, or the bowl would not fill to allow it to flush the next time. The breakfast was ok, it wasn’t the best but also understand it’s hard to prepare for large amount of people every morning. The coffee was horrible !! It was definitely instant coffee that was added to the dispenser!! The single pods in the rooms were a little better but not by much. The eggs and gravy were not bad, but again you can tell it’s quick to serve eggs and gravy and not the best as well as no seasoning. But it’s free so you can’t complain from that aspect ! The waffles were the best addition with the exception of having to wait in line for a while since there are only 2 waffle machines and one dispenser.

Pools were very nice, and plenty of pool towels. Rooms were nice and spacious. Bath towels were better than average. Breakfast was very nice and well stocked. Plenty of Parking around back. Staff were friendly and nice. Internet, and cable TV worked perfectly. Pillows were really nice and well above average.

I would have rated this facility and 10 out of 10 except for the weed smell. I had to turn off my A/C unit once because it was coming through. Also, one night sitting at the pool, I assume was a guest, was smoking weed from his balcony. Weed is not a hotel specific problem here. It seems to be everywhere in this country. There needs to be some measure of enforcing the NO smoking policy.

Entire property is very clean and well maintained. Our room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. The pool is great! Love the outdoor patio overlooking the river. Very relaxing and peaceful. Plenty of room and chairs/tables for many guests on patio. We were able to check-in early as our room was ready. Didn't have to pay an early check-in fee which is a HUGE plus. One of the employees (Sondra) was so friendly and funny. We ran into her on the elevator and shared some laughs with her. This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel and we will continue to do so.

Nothing to complain about. This hotel is absolutely wonderful. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The outside pool was great, loved the music playing.

The arcade needs updating, needs to be better kept up. Some games were broken and balls missing from pool table. The breakfast needs variety. The same breakfast options everyday got a bit old when staying for a week. Maybe have bacon one day instead of sausage, grits one day instead of oatmeal. Omelets, bread for toast, muffins. Waffles need toppers like sprinkles, chocolate chips, and a fruit option for kids. Indoor pool area needs better ventilation and air-conditioning. The TV’s need to be smart TV’s so that you can sign into your streaming services, especially for kids. Fans installed under the covered sitting area at the pool. More luggage carriers, there was never one available!

I have been to pigeon forge 17 times in the past 20 years. I have stayed in cabins hotels condos houses most were wonderful. However this place was amazing. Pools were wonderful, incredible location which was so nice. Saved so much time being so close. Incredible friendly staff Always seeing the cleaning staff doing an amazing job. Super clean throughout!. Do not hesitate to book here if you're looking!! I hope management appreciates their staff And the staff should he proud of the job they do

Breakfast was great but maybe change up the breakfast meat every other day.

I felt the room itself was as advertised, the pool was awesome and the breakfast was ok, I was surprised there wasn't any fruit available for breakfast.

When I booked the room it said that I would be overlooking the pool. Our balcony had a large wall and if you were sitting you could not see over it. If you stood up you over looking a roof top. You had to look to the left to see the pool area. This was not as advertised. I didn't complain, I just dealt with it since it was so hot the days I was there we wouldn't be sitting out there much anyway. In the future, if I stay there again I will ask when I check in.

LOVED staying here. Good location. We absolutely LOVED the pools and the breakfast was so delicious. The cinnamon rolls are amazing! Rooms are serviced daily which is fab. Would definitely recommend!

The pool, the nature birds out back setting in rocking chairs, game room.cleanliness, staff nice .

They need something to drink while at the pool .The summer was so hot and they was no place to get drinks or even water while in the pool .You had go two floors up to get a machine to get ice or drinks.. They need ice machine close to pool it least and water or drinks ..cause with drinks people could pass out or especially if you have little kids or handicap kids.. I had handicap and it's hard to get settled then have to get your stuff together and move again because I thought they have something there close for her .

This was my third stay this year at the Music in Resort. This time we stayed at the Inn over the Hotel. We loved our stay. Upon checking in we were greeted by a sweet lady who was so accommodating to my son’s needs. It was refreshing to meet someone who understands that a child with autism has their limits and he was ready to get in the pool. She was quick and made checking in easy. The room was very clean, bathroom had plenty of towels for our stay and the AC worked perfectly considering how hot it was outside. Loved the mirror doors on the closet! I love that the room has a mini fridge and microwave. Plus we were not charged for plastic utensils. (At the hotel we were charged for plastic utensils during our other two stays) Breakfast was well stocked. The staff had gloves on while handling food and kept the area clean. It is a smaller dining area so seating was limited. We just grabbed food and went back to our room. The pool, lazy river and slide were good. We enjoyed both the indoor area and outdoor area. It was clean all through our stay. We always saw a gentleman cleaning the area and keeping the towels stocked. He was kind and empathetic when letting everyone know due to the weather he needed to close the pool. When the weather pasted he was quick to get the pool back open. I will say the staff at the Inn by far surpassed my expectations with their kindness and service. Well worth the money to stay at either the Inn or hotel.

Only sad part was no rocking chairs on our balcony like the hotel has on the river view side. So if you want rocking chairs on your balcony book the hotel river view side. Definitely worth the extra price if you like sitting outside on the balcony.
