The proximity to the UT football stadium was great. The rooms were very clean and comfortable (minus the pillows!). Staff was friendly and hospitable until the power went out then seemed overwhelmed and at a loss.

The $35 self parking fee. The $21 + 20% tip buffet breakfast in the lobby (not enough seating, not a restaurant) that IS the same MEAL we get complimentary at most hotels. Literally not even as much of a spread as we enjoyed free at Fredericksburg Inn & Suites. That adds another $100/night to the overpriced room rate we paid due to game weekend. AND the power was off from 5pm until 9:30pm our last night. We had no notice and very little was communicated even in person as we waited in the lobby with our friends. No water or anything provided. No apology or credit issued. NOTHING. Complete darkness. Very unprofessional. I expect better from Doubletree. We were told we can cancel and checkout if we like, but no offer to assist us find other lodging.

I loved the hotel. Room was great and the bed was comfortable. The toiletries in the bathroom were very nice. The free coffee was nice and the cookies provided were very good, and I really liked the common areas in the lobby. There were also some nice seating areas outside to enjoy a pleasant evening. This is a great location close to the university when we visit my son, so we will definitely stay here again.

I was a little disappointed that parking was so expensive and that there were no breakfast items included in the price of the hotel.

Good location in relation to the event i attended while there, was able to walk to venue. Room was larger than expected and very clean.

Room faced the road, kept waking up throughout the night due to noise from traffic. I think the room needed an extra light source, I turned all the lights on in the room and it still felt dim. Lastly the shower smelled funny, kind of a mildew smell, while unpleasant wasn't unbearable.

Staff were amazing, and the facilities truly excellent for this price range. Rooms were nearly sound proof, and very private.

This parking situation is the worst I've seen. The parking lot is just treated as a secondary income stream to soak guests for another 30+ dollars, when it would have been extremely reasonable to validate instead. It's literally cheaper to park in a paid lot nowhere near the hotel, and walk or Uber back, which begs the question, why even have parking to begin with?

Beds were comfy, rooms were clean and the distance to the moody center was perfect Clerk on that shift( didn't catch her name) was very professional and friendly

Breakfast was your typical hotel Breakfast but they were short staffed apparently had to get clerk from front desk to come help and she did with no problems. She was very helpful

Convenient location to event attended. Clean and quiet atmosphere. Bar and grill available

The shrimp tacos were fried and did not offer grill option. Burger had chipotle sauce which took away from the flavor of a regular hamburger. Pool had leaves and debris from the tree that over hangs and did not appear clean, suggest a pool cover and cut/ trim the tree that is hanging over the pool.

The Hotel Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean.

The lighting in the room we were in was not good. Just not enough light. The only ice machine was on the top floor. There were no vending for snacks or drinks other than the pantry at the lobby. The refrigerator was very small.

everything was good and room was nice. Location was great to walk to the softball field. the staff was very welcoming and give you warm cookies.

I didn't like I paid 200 for the room and still had to pay $35 for parking.

It was conveniently located to the concert venue.

The water pressure was very low in my shower. There was a constant loud noise outside my window maybe the next room. I couldn’t hear on my conference calls while I was working from the room. I don’t know if the maintenance guy ever found it.

Clean rams, comforting beds and nice stuff

What I did in like is that breakfast was not included which I thought it was when I had booked and second parking is not free. It’s pretty expensive and they should have a discount for members of the Hilton or free of cost.
