We were in town to see concerts at the Moody Arena, and this was very conveniently located. We chose to take Lyft to the venue both days because it was hot, and walked back after the concerts in the cooler evenings. The walk was fairly easy, and we felt completely safe. We enjoyed the variety at breakfast both mornings of our stay. The room was roomy with plenty of outlets for our devices. The rooftop pool was delightful for a few laps and pool yoga after breakfast. I was surprised that I was the only one there. The staff was super friendly. We were there before our check-in time, so I went in just to get a parking garage pass. They checked and actually had a room. It was nice to get settled and get a quick nap before the concert.

The pillows were a bit flat, but I will say we are spoiled with Purple pillows at home. They truly caused no neck discomfort. Not a lot of drawer space; however, not a problem since we were only staying two nights. It would have been an issue if we were staying longer.

The breakfast is very good with good variety, the flexibility in eating and reaching food was very good the staff were good and constantly cleaning the area. Rooms are big and comfortable with kitchen area and microwave, tea coffee facilities. The hotel location is good and bus stop is just across the street and the shops in walking distance if you like to walk. the room needs updating and to get more cleaning attention.

I did not like seeing dogs in the breakfast/eating area, it is unhygienic for me. I did not like that water bottles are not delivered daily to the room also there was a time when the water was not available at reception. I did not like the cleaning service not coming daily to replace coffee cups and coffee bags also to replace towels. I stayed 4 nights and no one came to clean the room or change towels until I asked the cleaning staff on my room door to do so. The rooms need updating, for the cost it is a bit pricy. I did not have a car so I did not use valet parking.

The room was awesome - love the balcony option. The rolling desk table was perfect for having dinner in our room. And the sheets were so soft. I also really appreciate the different choices of pillow types on the beds. Thank you! Breakfast was great. I especially liked the oatmeal bar and hot breakfast. The front desk staff was exceptionally fun and inviting.

It wasn't clear that you had to stop and register before entering the gate to the parking garage which is on a turn on a decline and so you have to reverse up a curve to go back to a spot to check in. We had to do this and saw at least two other do the same. Also, the coffee was cold at the breakfast and the microwave had a sign that said do not use coffee cups in microwave. lol

The place is very quiet, very well located, close to the center with shops around. The staff was very friendly and helped us with all our questions. The room was very spacious and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety.

Parking is paid (40 USD per night). I did not use it, because there are many parking lots arround for 20 USD per night. Internet is free for the first 7 days, something to consider if you plan to stay longer.

Well first of all I would like to thank you for letting us rent the room for a fews night. Breakfast in the morning was delightful fell our stomach for the morning and we also went to floor 5 to visit the pool and also took plenty of pictures from your pool area for that we would love to come back and stay there next time we in town. Thank you again we love staying there we feel comfortable knowing you have to use the room card for everything.

There’s nothing to dislike about our stay. We will recommend our hotel to our friends that will be going to Austin.

The location was perfect, and the breakfast was delicious! There was Always fresh fruit-Watermelon, cantaloupe, one day, fresh pineapple chunks, and always bananas and apples! I was hooked on the waffles in the shape of Texas, but the last day I had the delicious oatmeal-It was steaming hot in a large container with plenty of options to add on the top. And the staff there was so hospitable. I needed a small mirror so I could see the back of my hair and the wonderful woman, Rose, appeared with one for me!

This wasn’t terribly important, but it would have been nice to have one of those small mirrors that is attached to the bathroom wall beside the bathroom sinks. But Rose helped me out with that giving me the hand mirror that evidently is in the suites!

Location is very close for Moody Center. You can park your car in the garage, leave it and walk to the venue. Also very close to the capital and University of Texas. A few eateries also in walking distance.

The water wasn't as hot as I like in the morning. I don't like I have to pay extra for parking in the garage. I'm staying in your hotel, so why should I have to pay an extra 40.00 to park in your garage?? It's a hotel, I didn't walk here.

The location was perfect because we were doing research at the Harry Ransom Center at the University and could walk there. We could also walk to the river and to 6th Street (20 minutes), to try out some restaurants and bars. The room, king suite, was very comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed the breakfast. There were a lot of options. Staff was helpful in quickly resolving a couple of issues.

The location is the reason we choose the hotel, it is right behind capitol, and super close to the Blanton and bullock museum and close to downtown and since it is not right within the busiest commercial area you don't find homeless people around. The staffs are really nice and made us feel like very welcomed.

The breakfast can be improved

Room and bathroom DARK, couldn’t see to do hair, makeup . Pool area / rooftop was a disappointment . Decorative wall crumbling and all the debris left sitting there and the cricket infestation was horrible. The pool was full of them and in the evening there were so many on the rooftop you couldn’t even walk or sit out there to see the skyline or relax.
