Good location easy access for Ubers. Door staff were great and so polite and friendly. Nice to have free water bottles supplied every. Asked for extra pillows which they happily supplied

Main purpose of our stay was for Formula 1 and we were very surprised at the lack of local information from the front desk. We were basically told to find our own way around. We were sent a package from Formula 1 and when we went to pick it up it took 3 staff to find it and it was at the counter the whole time. We paid large money to stay because of the racing but expected a bit more assistance. Would not stay again

This property is centrally located for many downtown Austin/capital activities. The room was clean and updated. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom tub and shower were really lovely. Rooms have a small fridge and Keurig. If you opt out of daily cleaning they donate meals to a shelter. You will get a text from the housekeeper asking if you need anything though so you can request more coffee, towels etc easily without cleaning. The rooftop pool and bar is small but a nice place to relax. There is a lobby bar/restaurant and a coffee shop. Half the building is offices so the very tiny sundry shop is not open very late. However, there are several convenience stores within a couple of blocks. If noise bothers you, request an interior room. You’ll still have light and city views from the atrium but will be sheltered from street noise. Austin is called the live music capital for a reason and there are a number of bars/restaurants nearby playing loud music late into the evening.

Lack of a decent sundries shop is a con but not a big deal. Parking fees are insane (~$70/day) and close to $30 for a couple of hours. We were visiting family and they couldn’t park and come in given the cost. This is an issue generally in downtown Austin though. We paid $43 for parking just to go to dinner one night. It’s honestly cheaper to use ride share most of the time. .

We were so impressed by the Omni and the whole team - everyone was very polite and hospitable from the moment we booked, and even after we finished our stay. The hotel is beautiful and nice central location in Austin - the rooftop pool has a wonderful view and is a nice spot to hang. The room was very contemporary - love the colours, and was very clean. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary on this trip and they even organized a special treat for us!! So impressed by the level of service all around. We will definitely recommend the Omni to anyone visiting Austin!

The coffee bar in the lobby was a little pricey - but I guess that’s on par for Austin! We went to the pool on a Saturday afternoon, didn’t really enjoy the DJ as it was super loud but that was just us!

The Omni Downtown Austin is really an ideal hotel for a stay in Austin. It is centrally located between Red River and 6th Street. Congress Avenue, even down to the bat bridge, is walking distance. The rooftop pool is a GEM. There is a bar with an extensive food menu up there. They actually grill out, but in a posh way. Reserve a semi-private cabana for top comfort. But you don't REALLY need it. The restaurant in the atrium/lobby is consistently excellent. Try the creme brulee oatmeal! Oh, and the wedge salad . . .

I really wouldn't change a thing. The service is cheerful . . . above and beyond. We felt welcome stepping out of the Uber and at every step in our stay!

We don’t normally love staying in urban hotels, but this was very enjoyable. We had lots of extra room in our suite-like room, a beautiful view, and plenty of restaurants and attractions close by. Our stay was on the first day of the year, so many things were closed and the city was rather quiet (we missed the NYE festivities, by design). The concierge and the bar staff were all very attentive. The pool and some amenities were unavailable at that time, so we can’t comment on those things. We also enjoyed the glass elevators.

The location, the room, very luxurious hotel, staff very friendly. Excellent for couples and families and it is at the heart of the city. Everything is close by. The pool is on the roof and was very nice and excellent view of the city and for taking selfies.

That you have to pay extra for parking. Room was a bit expensive but what do you expect when you stay at a very nice hotel. One night valet took longer than usual in getting the car. Started late in visiting the places that my girl and me were going to visit.

Staff is cordial and attentive. They took care of everything I needed without hesitation. Location is great.

Room (especially the bathroom) was cold (winter stay,) seemed to be constantly trying to keep it at a comfortable temperature. Shower floor was not leveled properly when it was remodeled. Standing water collected in a corner. Fruit flies were in the room when I checked in... 70$ for valet is really excessive. It should be no more than $55 since the drivers are expecting a tip.

I thought the menu at the restaurant was really good, nothing over the top good food for great value and everyone in the restaurant was very nice and attentive. Front desk staff super and valet!

The maid service lacked in replacing the kleenex that clearly was empty and box was set in front of them and why would they not replace the little lotion? Why would they not take the dirty glasses from the room? Little things go along way. Toilet paper is never great kleenex. The bums on the street were concerning but at least they hosed down the walkway.

It’s situation.Our room was well appointed and. Comfortable.We really appreciated the service in the Capital A restaurant and bar .Nathan was a friendly and expert server and Harrison as the Food and Beverage manager ran a tight ship and also gave us many recommendations for our time in Austin.

Some entrances to the hotel were closed at weekends.

elevator ride was soo cool looking at the structure as you went up pool was great location for sunshine staff was amazing! super helpful upon check in-- they handed me a water because i mentioned i was dehydrated-- then the bar staff was great for taking drinks up to pool on the days pool bar was closed coffee shop-- staff was very friendly

hotel was nice-- but since I work in construction it was disappointing how the showered were tiled-- they didnt drain very good-- and the tile seemed very mismatchy-- not your fault the architects-- I liked the theme of classy dark tile but sometime the whiter things are the cleaner they feel.
