What i absolutely loved the most about aloft was the 11pm check out time. I don't feel rushed to leave or have to force myself to wake up and get ready, that alone made me want to stay there again. As soon as i arrived, a valet worker approached me and let me know what my options were for parking. It was so fast and easy , i was inside the hotel within minuites of arriving. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. They seemed excited to help me with anything I needed. That was the cherry on top of my experience there. I would, and will recommend this hotel to my friends and family. I myself will be staying there again.

I tried to think, but I can't think of a single thing i didn't like. everything exceeded my expectations and my overall stay was great.

Loved the attention to detail and to my dogs! They felt like they were part of the guest experience! The location was great as well! Staff exceeded my expectations! The view was awesome and the restaurant (Caroline's) the 2nd floor bar and the coffee bar were all great!

Parking is terrible! It's not easy to check in with luggage and pets if you're not valeting. I understand every major city hotel charge big fees to park, but there should be a spot to load/unload easily. The valet did go above and beyond to help me, I did tip them. I just couldn't see paying an additional $195 just for parking when I was going to walk everywhere. I also appreciated the pet friendliness, however, there wasn't a place to take them to use the facilities. I asked at the check in, and they said closest green area was blocks away! I'm not used the Austin hills haha but we managed. Just a safety issue walking them before bedtime with all the homeless people on the streets.

i loved that there was a restaurant in the hotel and the git shop was soo cute!

the security at the property is very strict granted i know they are just doing there jobs but there was a few times where we were a little more tipsy then we liked and we took a while to get our key card and he would just watch us from inside, mind you this was the same security guard we saw all weekend so he knew we were guest and i didn’t appreciate that at all. i feel he could’ve let us in instead of just watching us struggle especially since he had seen us on property more than once

would have appreciated an email or notification regarding the front desk being located on the second floor. In Aloft's defense, I was in a huge rush to check-in and wasn't anticipating the need to look for signs to find it. In retrospect, the signage displayed was plenty sufficient but a highlighted heads up would have been welcome. find me a wall downtown that's not cluttered with information.... That's the only possible complaint I had with my stay and I can easily see that as my fault. I would and will absolutely stay again.

Jonathan at the reception was realy nice and helpful he gave us good tips for eating out and spending the day in Austin. The room was nice and had a beautiful view. The Hotel has a nice restaurant in the lobby were they serve good food even until late. The hotel has a good location, you can reach everything by foot.

There was a air vent in the room that made a squeking noise, we had to stuff a towel in there for the night. On the day we left the hotel we took our car from the valet service, while paking our things in the car there was a wierd homeless guy sneaking arround our luggage, nobody from the valet service said anything or took the secuirty of their guests seriously.

Location in downtown Austin was great. Dinner in hotel restaurant also fine. Room minimalist but totally functional; nice big windows out to city. Great shower. Historic Driskill Hotel was one block away and very fun for brunch.

We had to pay $60 to valet park our car for one night. There is a car park at end of block where they probably parked it. Convenience would have been one thing; but we had to wait for over 30 minutes for our car to be returned to us. Not great if on an airline schedule.

We've stayed at Aloft hotels before and have always had a good experience. This was no exception. The rooms were spacious (for downtown hotels) and in a great location. A little pricey and we had to pay an additional charge to upgrade as our booked room was not available. Not a big deal.

A little pricey, but it is a quality, down-town hotel so not unsurprisingly. Valet is expensive. Not the fault of the hotel at all, but the homelessness in Austin is awful and this unfortunately includes around the hotel.

Clean, modern rooms. Comfortable beds. Friendly, helpful staff. The location was pretty central to everything we wanted to do. The fitness center was on par with most hotels. We loved the restaurant and coffee bar on the first two floors, and the nightlife scene looked robust. Would highly recommend for adult travel.

We came on a Saturday night and were a little surprised that registration was in the same place as the bar. We and the lady at registration were yelling to be heard. My hear sank a little when I saw the bowl of complimentary ear plugs. And we could hear music from our room, but only on Saturday night. My 9 year-old son would highly recommend after seeing an elevator packed with beautiful young women clad in thong bikinis.LOL. However, if you're traveling with kids you might want to look elsewhere.

Awesome location. Walking distance to some great shops, restaurants, and the capitol. Friendly staff. Great amenities at the hotel. We enjoyed the 2nd floor lounge/restaurant area. Very cool and fun vibe. Room was small but clean and comfortable with a good view of the city.

Wish it had a pool. Lighting in the room was awkward if you had to get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you had to turn the lights on, which brightened up the entire room (no separate bathroom light), which wasn’t great for the others who were trying to sleep. Parking was either valet ($60/day) or self park in the garage, which was pretty close, but still around $40. Maybe that’s average, but it’s still a lot when the room was nearly $200.

The rooms are spacious. Our room had excellent views of the downtown street, while also being quiet and comfortable. The bed was firm- perfectly comfortable.

The staff seemed ill-experienced. We had trouble checking in. The room keycard did not work and the staff member asked me to check again. I had to go back up and come back down again, which was annoying with all the luggage! It turned out that the keycard portal (thing that blinks when you use the right keycard)was out of charge!! I eventually asked for another room.
